Which is better: PS3 or Xbox 360?

At One point in time I agreed that Xbox360 was the best. but now that i have played PS3 i believe the PS3 wins.

1. Because of Free Online gameplay. nooone wants to have to pay for something they already have (internet)
2. The quality of the games. I have yet to come across any games that have bored me on the Ps3. The 360 only has a few great titles. under its name.
3. No "RED LIGHT OF DEATH" Sony actually took thier time to put thier system together, while Microsoft rushed to start competing with it.
4. Xbox360 Arcade. The one w/o the harddrive what is the point ion having it if you cant save you game file?

xbox 360 for me however ps3 has a decent group of games and if uve grown up with Playstation I suggest getting ps3. I love xboxlive mainly bc of my friends on it so if you have a lot of friends with 360s get an xbox

Playstation 3 has better graphics and better JRPG but 360 has more games. PS3 is better in my opinion.

The new 360 doesn't have the red ring of death. I will also disagree with the 360 having only a few great titles, you should look at a list of games for both systems first. And the Arcade system does suck, yeah.

Pft, the only thing XBox 360's good for is Halo.

To me, that's the only downside to owning a PS3. But the PS3's got much better graphics, and free online. Not to mention faster processing speed and pretty much the same games as XBox 360.

I mean, besides Halo, I haven't encountered a game the 360 has that the PS3 doesn't.

thats not true there are alot of alot of good games for the 360 other then halo. (although the ps3 has better graphics and blu-ray)

I'm going to have to disagree with you. You can watch movies on both systems anyways, or use a DVD player or a computer, so thats not important at all. *Sigh.* One day the Ps3 will be a good system, but as it is I can't agree since they've taken away from select systems the ability to play PS2 games. The fact that its not region locked is good though. I think you need the big HD to play PS2 games.

The playstation 3 has 196 games available in the US, but, given that we're about to hit the end of the year thats probably about to jump over the 200 mark barely.

The 360 is about to hit the 1,000 mark in titles, but, unlike with Sony's count, thats _NOT_ counting games that release on ALL THREE TERRITORIES AS THREE GAMES. Having taken a logic class I see exactly why they did that, its a manipulation of data to make things look amazing, its like when you make a graph, the data can be true, but if you manipulate it slightly then you are able to make it look either much more amazing than it is, or worse than it is. They manipulated their correct data in a way that they were able to triple, or in other cases use a double count to make it look like they have more games than they do.

And yes, businesses annoy me with how they do this. They make people not know what they're getting into. Jerks.

I don't doubt that the PS3 is a fine system, but the fact is that it has ALOT less games, so that shouldn't count towards someone's view at all as a plus for them. Though, for those of us in America, I would count maybe 12 games that I enjoy enough to actually buy out of the 196 games available for us from the PS3, while I own much more than that for my 360 and have played many more than that personally.

righ now... i would say the 360. becourse the ps3 have few games tath use the entire system at once. wait a year and i will probably say ps3 +++ the blueray is on 50gb and a usual DVD is on 4.7gb... think on how nice games that will come soon

If we are going stock setup. then he PS3 win hands down. better processor, better graphics card, plus the BLU-RAY player. that in itself is worth alot, now it even has the software that upscales dvd to HD quality. Now as for actual gaming. XBOX 360 has the better titles Gears of WAR owns bigtime. and the network is better also. but PS3's network is free. PS3 is just a little behind on the games, but it will eventually catch up. Overall PS3 winz!!

XBOX 360 Has better games AT THE MOMENT, I mean awesomness games r gonna come out for PS3 for example, FF VERSUS XIII, GOD OF WAR 3, DRAKENGARD 3, KH3, VALKARIE CHRONICLES (1 &2) and a possible 3, and many many more, so when thse come out, I will say goodbye to my 360 for quite a long time and then PS3 SHALL BE PLUGGED (it isnt at the moment xD)

2. Much more affordable

3. Less complication involved

the only way i'd get a PS3 is if they make a KH3 which they might not because of Birth by Sleep for a while... so i probably won't get it anytime soon
