Where do all the weapons come from?

As the titles suggests I am wondering where in the world Naruto and his buddies get all of their weapons. I mean they constantly throw kunai and shuriken and they all have swords and chakra blades.

I have never seen them pick up any used weapons either, they just leave their shuriken and kunai on the ground or in the dead person. Think about all of the ninja in Naruto's world and all the kunai and shuriken they must go through.

Who makes all those weapons? Do they have people working the forges 24/7?
And who goes around to pick up all of their wasted equipment that they leave lying there? I think that it is elves personally, but really what do you guys think?

they dont magically come out of thin air they would have smith workers or something like that making the weapons
seeming weapons are very common i would think that the weapon industry would be very popular in the narutoverse so there would be heaps of shops companys making them

They get them by summoning them. There are forges and they get a set amount so they can lay it aside and summon it later, or carry it on them. There is a clean-up crew of ninjas as well, presumably, and they clean up battlefields and will pick up the used weapons like you said. Blacksmiths make weapons, they don't have them working all the time, unless in war probablly. There are no elves....

Kishi didn't find it important enough to cover that part.. there was a filler episode with Gara where they had a special village which built weapons..

they retreiev their weapons when we are not seeing.. xd . they don't wan't us to see our heroes picking out bloddied weapond out of their victims bodies and cleaning it out- all that gory stuff.. >_<

They do show them re-supply every now and then. I guess they have weapons smiths that make all the weapons or maybe a dedicated village? One of the fillers in part 1 mentioned this.

As to where they summon weapons from, I have no idea.

lol their was a filler episode before the 5 kage arc it involved ten-ten, neji and naruto going to konoha's weapon supplier to pick up more kunai and shuriken, so apparently 1 old man and his assistant make all the ninja weapons for the leaf, i guess each village has their own suppliers.

why would we want to see ninjas bying stuff at a ninja shop
its why kishi doesnt show any ninja shop coz it doesnt need to be shown

Its shown in one of the filler episodes from shippuden episode series of 183 to 190.
I dont remember the anime episode name but it was somewhat "Deploy Team Tenten" ....
in it its shown where Konoha purchases their military stuff....
