And when I say masterpiece I'm not even talking about manga.

I'm talking about things like the ones you read in school: there is everything to Madara and Hashi:

Culture: check

Historic setting: check

Existential Dilemmas: check

Deep characters: check

Things that lead to comparision with nowadays problems: check

That's not to mention the awesome Madara. I've lost the count of how many times I was able to compare his ideals to refined thinkers like Schopenhauer.

10/10 would write an obligatory book about it for students to read it lolololol

No, there isn't deep characters. We only know like 4 characters from the warring era by name.

There's potential for it, maybe. But the era would be better if it didn't focus on them. Us knowing what happens doesn't make it compelling. It should be from someone's point of view that isn't Hashirama or Madara.

Nope...Madara's and Hashirama's story has been shown/explained in the manga quite well. Making a spin-off out of that wouldn't make much sense, because we all would know what would happen.

Something totally new...like 200-500 years before the start of the Naruto series, would be perfect....

There are and you don't want me to prove you wrong mwahahahah

Madara is one of the deeper and complex character I've read. And I've read loooots of books.

Hashirama is an embodiment of the selfless hero that is born for no reason. He is just that good. And these are the people that actually change the world. Think for a minute: what would have costed for Hashi to stick to his own leader status and mind his own busiiness? Nothing. Actually he would have had a much more sane personal life.

Tajima is the leader that even if being nice towards family, becomes cruel due circumstances. And let's be sincere: that's quite common.

Madara's mother is the person that strives for the own good of her family, integrity, and looks forward better things for the future.

Itama represents the innocent people who die doing what the world expects them to do.

Tobirama is the person that fails to realiza there are other ways, but prefers to stick with its own thoughts -as they seem more secure.

I could go on for years and years.

One of the small nuances I love about Madara's character is how he was defamed after his death, with accusations of him stealing Izuna's eyes or how he was some sort of war mongerer, to the point that even Uchihas like Itachi believed these things.

I mean, one could chalk it up to retcons, but I'd like to imagine it was Kishimoto's way of showing how those in power will lie and slander anyone who doesn't share their ideology and spread it to the masses as fact.

God knows I'm not lying when I say that's one of the most beautiful things I've ever read in character.

He is a character that wasn't protected in any kind of ways. I'm sure even the guy that sold him bread looked at him with bad blood.

And guess what? He was still a pure person, that suffered ALL the bad things that could happen to someone like him. And real things like death in war.

And the most beautiful thing is that his "redemption" is a personal one: the world doesn't have to recognize us. But we have to be in peace with ourselves.

the other characters are unnamed but all of the unnamed and ones glossed over like izuna have potential to be deep. Having potential of their character to go in depth doesn't make them deep.

Just because I said they arent deep doesnt mean they cant be with proper attention.

Honestly, I doubt the manga will focus on any other character besides Boruto. It's been Bort-focused only for like what, 2-3 years now? Doubt that'll change anytime soon. And on the top of that, the pacing sucks. They simply just do not know how to work the manga's pacing, it's more than clear at this rate.

Maybe she - and Mitsuki - will get some development in the anime and novels, but that's it.

Who PM'd you so much that you had to put that in your status? Must have come really hard, if you had to resort to such levels for him/her to get the message.

OT: when Kodachi isn't the writer/Kishimoto for that matter. Some writer who's adored Mikasa/Erza/Motoko/Asuna/Android 18/Orochimaru/The Powerpuff Girls/Totally Spies!/Charlie's Angels/Raven/Yoruichi/Retsu/Maya Natsume and basically doesn't have a phobia of ovaries.

You think they are just glossed over because you didn't pay attention to them.

Izuna is actually already too deep himself.

Complexity doesn't come in beautiful and philosophical dialogues.

Hashirama had a pretty bland speech throughout the manga. And guess what? He is more related to real life strifes than Hagoromo that can only spill things that seem deep. Or Sasuke that had 700 chapters to be reduced to edgy boy that now is "normal".

Izuna with one attitude showed more complexity than Sakura did with 700 chapters.

How are these characters deep? Show some scans and give insight.

Given the amount of appearances in the warring era (who aren't Hashirama, Tobirama and Madara), that's a bold claim.

Especially when Izuna had one line in then entire series.

And sakura is shit, so thats not even a fair comparison

Anyways, to answer the OP. She will likely be treated the same as her "mother". One or two shining moments that her fans will wet themselves over for all eternity while she in reality will remain a horrible, irrelevant mess of a character. Shanaro!

Boruto has a few such ''Shanaro moments'' as well, and Shanaroo is like a replacement for ''yosh'' which the Japanese usually scream in a moment of ecstasy. You should never go to Japan/China or the continent at all if you hate such expressions. Though it'd be a bit hypocritical if you didn't reserve any contempt for American expressions like ''yeah'' ''damn'' which have as much verbal abuse as the former.

And Sasuke also had his verbatim as well, people just never caught it.

The part just stuck out to me, like a sore thumb, and I thought I could educate you on the verbatim area, since it seems aid was necessary. ''Yeah'', they're not the same, as all countries adopt different behavioral patterns. Japan is more light hearted as a country than China, and thus, expression-wise, is rich. It's also overall more whimsical. Such expressions, therefore, influence less of the Chinese population. Having watched Chinese movies often a times, there is some similarity in speech, their pitch pattern goes up/down at similar rate, though with Chinese mastering in that art, as a tonal language, requiring such an effect. Point though is, they're ''analogous''. I advise following up on the cultures, but you have been to North Korea. :lol

You mind providing scans to support this?

He can't possibly do that because it would be just talking another nonsense claims . Those 2 have same relevancy as Iruka had in 4 great shinobi war.

OT: Never its about Boruto and after him comes Kawaki and Kara .

How are these characters deep. Show some scans and give insight.

In german the word convince can be divided in: über: above and "zeug": Witness

So in order to understand you have to be above just reading the scan, but putting yourself in the character situation, like he is a real person.

Let's take Izuna:
You must be registered for see images

He is injured. And he is one that has already seen a lot of gore things. And he is behaving stubbornly. Not giving up in a place that ALL the other soldiers have already given up. Including his own. He likes to give the example of a strong person to his own.

Not only that: he is given the opportunity to get healed by the most STRONG medic of his time.
You must be registered for see images

But yet, he prefered stick to his pride and ideology. Tell me how easy is to do that in real life? Like: how many times we prefered comfort over our ideologies and what seems easy?

But guess what too? He isn't perfect. He gloated about being Uchiha and the power he possessed as such. And that was his downfall. It's too simbolic I can't even.

That's not to mention he is quoted in the databook as an harmonious person. This proves he was no saint. Even with this smile (and being able to find strength in his last breath to ask for his people, blood to be protected -TELL ME: What politician would even begin to do something like this??)

You must be registered for see images

He was still cruel due to circumnstances. Maybe because of selfishness one could say. But tell me: what could he do? Actually: what he thought he could do? Nothing. He was someone that was in a position of relative power. Not total. He'd not change everybody. What could even be possibly truly done for him to trust people that were strange to him? People That actually took his family from him before he could even begin to understand?

I can't even imagine what went through his head: did my mother die because of childbirth complications or because of that + the fact she lost 4 SONS already? What would have been if I met my other brothers?

But that didn't stop him from being a pure person from the start! He is the little brother that runs to his father to gloat about how big bro is awesome!

And there you have a nice description of how war can change someone. And how everything is grey. And not black and white.

That literally doesn't make him have depth.

you're mistaking his characterization for something else and taking a lot of liberties with your interpretation.
