In my own personal opinion, I don't find it a choice 99% of the time. There are those out there who are either identify bisexual or just like *** or experimentation that can argue (the latter) that its choice strictly.

We are all either bisexual, and according to psychology, habitat, culture, beliefs, etc this influences whether we identify with a more male or female role. This would make sense because from the time we are born for the last 3-5000 years we have socially established gender roles that can and do directly influence our lives on a daily basis and certainly influence whether we identify with a male or female role...but that doesn't mean that a female can't identify with a male role or vice versa. However if we were all originally bisexual and throughout our lives either by choice or influence "decided" to be gay or straight, one cannot argue the fact that we still originally started out bisexual and being heterosexual wouldn't be "the best" way to be sexually. This could explain how one can go from straight to gay or vice versa (though the latter again is much rarer and usually only due to a strong willed behavioral change, or fear)

Now, the question stills remains when did you "choose" your sexuality? None of us seem to remember choosing, but plenty have opinions on the matter. Why is it assumed that if straight people didn't choose, gay people didn't either? It just doesn't make sense in my mind at least...its not logical. People do seem to be born the way they were born, and I don't hear of too many gay people choosing to be gay, just forced to be straight or asexual. When did our culture change to not except just love? (For those who don't know, it mainly changed when the modern religions came into play...Christianity, Islam, and Judaism)

Now i was born and raised a Chrisitian, and still associate with these beliefs...but on more spiritual level. I was raised to judge people who were different from me and be weary of anyone who didn't practice Christianity as i was taught to do. I never understood and was even hurt by the idea that God would be mean enough to only except those who knew him and Jesus, but not others who never had the chance? That doesn't sound like the kind all loving omnipotent God i know and when i started studying other religions...those didn't sound like God they knew God either (all 3 religions believe in the one mighty God). I know i just got off on a religious rant, but basically what i was trying to get at was that God made all of us in his image...Gay Straight Christian Islam Jewish Buddhist black white purple handicap not handicap blah blah and he made everything. Why do we bash God's creations?? God didn't put us here to do this shit with each other

When God bore me as a man.
Understandable, and if your guardians had not raised you in a male specified gender role....or the male specified gender role didn't exist, how different do you think things would be?

Society did feel the need to establish order at some point, but before that we were just hunter gatherers..people who were intelligent (in their own ways, not retarded cavemen like we see) didn't distinguish sexuality between males and females besides the few differences we pose (like girls give birth, girls have boobs and no ding, and our thought processes and emotions differ slightly than a mans scientifically proven of course) Emperors and Kings had men or women, and it was considered a sign of power. Women of course were needed to reproduce, but that didn't mean they could get the same sexual satisfaction out of a man or woman. We do have distinctive areas on each body that are not directly related to reproduction, curiously enough that can be aroused as much as the parts we have come to understand that do reproduce. Because of the way society was before modern religion came into play (though not saying anything negative about being religious) do you not think establishing the roles society has couldn't effect peoples thinking and bias towards heterosexuality or homosexuality?

There was never a time in my life when I wasn't attracted to women. Wasn't a matter of choice for me. I believe there are some people out there that consciously make the choice for themselves.

Its wrong because people are putting all these gay things in Tv/shows and Movies nowadays you can hardly watch a movie without a gay character in it its annoyin I wanna watch a movie without a homo in it is that so hard to ask for? Lol.
and what's you're problem
you're just in your own limited world
it's better to see gays in tv from the start, to see that it's normal but there are still people like you who won't accept that everyone can be who they want to be

I choose to be straight.
Guy on guy is just sickening and unnatural.
But girl on girl is perfectly fine? Just asking. Wouldn't want you to be a hypocrite.

Anyways, I didn't choose anything. I'm just attracted to females (and Chris Evans & Stephen Amell) just because. Don't really recall choosing. If you're gay or whatever, that's cool too. Seems normal to me.

A person is born black, white, asian etc.....gay is a choice just like how a straight woman can have kids with a man and then later on in life gets her heart broken then decides to start having *** with women....ive seen it happen alot. U_U.
False. She wasn't straight to begin with, but bisexual.

even though the bible changed throughout the years...there is still one thing that hasnt changed and that thing is adam was made for eve not steve
Please, don't make faith a fact. You believe that a god made everyone and everything. Well, science disagrees pal. There's plenty of counter-evidence for women having been made from a man's rib or whatever. Doesn't even require one to be a biologist. Just ask yourself why we men have nipples. So a god made man with an organ that only later made women would use? Nope ;) In fact, the default *** biologically is female. Males are but females with handful extra genes on the Y chromosome.

And homophobes and those who take faith for granted should take look at some bees where two genetically female bees reproduce together (yes, genetically female XX bees can be born with both penis and vagina pal) and those who are genetically males are sterile bees. So try again.
