2. I also pointed out that they do PHYSICAL TRAINING, which is kinda secondary for chakra boosting.
Yes, it increases the overall Chakra Level, but the way they train looks like they ARE boosting their PHYSICAL muscles as well.

The limitations of Human strength still existed in the manga, and normal chakra didn't break those limitations. Tsunade and Sakura can't lift the force (in newtons) that they hit with. This must be obvious.

Someone strong would be able to lift heavy stuff, not punch a hole through them.

This leaves Sakura and Tsunade out of it.

The possible candidates would therefore be (including powerups), in this order:

* Natural Energy users (Sage Mode)
> Naruto
> Hashirama
> Jiraiya
> The Toad Sages
> Kabuto
* Tailed Beast Hosts (Jinchuuriki)
> Madara Uchiha
> Obito Uchiha
> Naruto
> Killer Bee
> Gaara, etc
* A certain Tsuchikage who can fly with a whole island on his hands (Hanuman, you jelly?)
> Ohnoki (because of Einstein's law of Relativity)

I disagree about Gai/Lee until proven otherwise by wiki sources.
But Akimichi is an interesting option - they do use chakra boosts, but those actually enhance their MUSCLES, as in an INTERNAL enhancement.
But, again, the same goes to Gai/Lee.
Oonoki is NOT (physically) strong at all - just LOOK at him, please, he's 100% chakra-based.
As of the others - not enough info that I know about.

Exactly, they are boosting their physical abilities with a technique. It isn't their own physical power.

In terms of base and raw power, Tsunade and the Raikages are still unsurpassed.

You're right. Guy/Lee's case is special. Now that I think about it, Lee pulled off (pun intended) a HULK on Gaara after opening a few gates.

As for Oonoki, I did comment that it's based on Einstein's theory. If you can lift an island, you're strong. The Island is heavy. You need super strength to lift it, and then he literally flew with it. He can practically lift anything any other strong character can, even if it hurts his back. It's complicated, but it's strength.

Tailed beast users have been shown to get superhuman strength when they draw on tailed beast chakra. Naruto could push back giant snakes with it, even as a lowly genin.

There are forms for physical strength: Punching strength and lifting strength. If by the former, Gai prevails. If latter, SM users win.

Are we talking about:
*Pure muscle strength with NO chakra applied? (Gai-style)
*Muscle strength including various chakra boosts applied ONLY INTERNALLY to muscles? (Akimichi-style, SM-style)
*Overall physical strength as the END RESULT of punching/lifting/running/etc? (Tsunade-style)

All three have VERY different results.

No, she doesn't. She can pack a punch. That's it for her (and Sakura). Her power doesn't extend to her muscles. I can say this because her ability was explained when she was introduced. And the explanation only involved chakra being released in bursts through the first at the point of impact.
