Aside from OP, Madara fought Hashi with Kurama, and Hashi still won. IMO in Hashi vs edo Madara w/o Kurama, Hashi would still win because I think that's actually easier. I mean we haven't seen much rinnegan attacks from Madara and I doubt his wood release is as great as Hashi's. Hashi also knows regeneration, he can do wood clones, he also has water release which can counter Madara's fire etc but whatever...

hashi cant kill him he is an edo no one can but what he can do is seal him and if madara ps isnt enough to put him down that being his best attack it means hashi could get around it to do the sealing
