He kind of did OPWell, Talk no jutsu along with Plot got the best of him. We're obviously speaking hypothetically here. :hmm:
@bold - Madara did not physically implant his will within Obito, if that's what you're referring to. Also Kaguya has no chance at getting through Obito, if Obito has not absorbed the tree which is her vessel. :eww:
It was already confirmed that Obito could've activated IT. He was literally minutes away from activating it until Naruto and k11 intervened.h: Madara wasn't relaxed any longer when Obito set up the tree ready activate IT. That's why he fought seriously against Hashi at that point and immobilized him via chakra rods. :eww:
No where in the manga was that stated. :|
Once IT is activated, everybody would be immobilized and the remaining Edos would've been taken care of. :hmm:

Once IT is activated, every living being(except Obito ofc) would be under the genjutsu. Edo Tensei would be taken care of with Obito's speed and Edos making contact with gudodama which would effectively neg them to nothing.[

] BZ would probably be the only problem but he would be taken care of easily as well. He prevented Madara from taking over and even Madara was surprised that he did that. By the time he became a complete jinchuriki, he was no longer bound to anyone's control. :hmm:
