I write poetry when I have a lot of thoughts running through my head I just wrote this one and wanted to know how it sounded?

The Boxing Match

Life is like a Boxing match
You have to stay and try to latch
on to everything you hold dear
you can't ever have fear
the fear you may loose
you must not let fate choose
it's up to you on how you live
but make everyday count for it may be your last
you must always try and give
everthing you have to the ones you love
never look to whats in the past
hold everything you want above
everyone you have higher then all
everything else you may want
because you never know when that call
will come saying it's time cause it might haunt
you that chose you made the one she cried over
you won't be able to barder
it back no matter what
it's lost to you so what​

I just watched Rocky thats why it has a boxing theme xd

I ment it as you can't look at the past and regret what happened you have to move on with what happened and live for what may come the next day.....

It would be nice if things like that in life were as easily done as they were said. And I know what your getting at, and Id agree with you that if your always focusing on past regrets and mishaps that you miss what is in the here in front of your face and now and it makes life harder than it has to be. But it seems to be easier for men to do than women imo.

unless your talking about hollywood, and movies then you just have to wait for the sequal to come out, see if anyone has made any progress one way or another.
