No they cannot because God expects us to represent him in the best way. For him the intercourse of two men is an abomination. By keeping ourselves clean we keep him clean, by us staying holy we keep him holy. We are his represantation. It is logical that intercourse between two men is unnatural because any sexual pleasure that is had with a man can in fact be done with a woman. Tell me if I'm wrong
And kids, this is why we don't have nice things.
Not trying to start a flame war, but didn't Eve take an apple from a
talking snake? I see no logic there, and that seems okay to everyone compared to people liking the same gender. Gays have any right to love, whether or not:
"20:13 "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." (Leviticus 20:13 KJV)" - Times have changed, mate; you can think gays are an abomination; but everyone has their own opinion, some may agree with while others will not. I am one of those people who disagree with you, and well I disagree with pretty much everything in the Bible.
And you get your opinion from "studies" of animals homosexuality. I already told you my opinion that the intercourse between two men is an abomination because it is unnatural.
Is there a reason behind my God thinking your act of intercourse with another man is wrong? Yes, I already told you because he created women for men. This is why God thinks homosexuality is wrong. Is that hitting the nail on the head or do you want me to rephrase?
Edit: You still havent given me an argument towrds the difference between men having intercourse with men and men having intercourse with women. It is the same sexuaal pleasure that they both experience. However a mans body was not made to be used as a womans nor will it ever function like one. Whats your response
I'm sorry but I strongly disagree with your 'reasoning/opinion' not going to go into detail as of why; cause it's pretty much up in my other part of this post.
dude the verses are the answer. what i love most about the bible is how verses are linked to each other. thats y you learn more about what you've learnt prevoulsy everytime you read the bible. the term neighbour refers someone next to you not your literal neighbour. if i said love your mother as you love yourself. would you have engage ur mom? no because that is incest. what is love and how does it differ. 1) the love tou have for your parent. 2)the love you have for friend 3)the love you have for your girlfriend/bf 4)the love you have for yourself. etc and the list goes on.
The verses also show a lot of inconsistencies with each other.
I.E:
GE 2:17 Adam was to die the very day that he ate the forbidden fruit.
GE 5:5 Adam lived 930 years.
IS 44:24 God created heaven and earth alone.
JN 1:1-3 Jesus took part in creation.
God only wants u to love another person as you love yourself. desire the best for them. care for them. pray for them just as you do for yourself. love has manny forms but the love that was spoken here is the same as the one for yourself. Now one can ague that if i do wrong things to myself then i have the right to abuse another person. well we all know the body is the temple of the Lord. you are the only creation God created without words. he made men with his hands and breath(spirit of life). abusing yourself is wrong itself.
I will use myself as an example here; if I don't love myself, or I don't love anyone?
My body is mine and mine alone, it isn't God or anyones, if I chose to abuse it; I will considered a sin? Alright then. I'm fine with that.
Can I ask you though, what do you consider abuse?
