They are very positive and should be followed weather you believe or not if you want good changes in your life. but such is the case for most religions. even if you dont believe the teachings could benefit humanity if they only listened

Jesus man. and dont listen to the guy who says the bible contradicts itself. the bible requires wisdom not just intrlligence. jesus is the answer to everything. Jesus gave us ways to live our lives and you will be suprised how peacefull your life is when you follow the path of righteousness.

Idk I prefer to listen to Solomon though. His insight to life is unmatched in the bible. Jesus comes second to advice though

And yes i have read the bible probably unlike most of the people on this base and it is completely ridiculous and urge anyone to truly sit down and read it.You will be very disappointed to learn the bible is the exact opposite of what you think it is.

This right here tells me you lack both intelligence and wisdom since you can't have one without the other and secondly it is not up to for debate whether it contradicts itself it is a straight up fact and if you choose to blatantly ignore that then that's on you.

The bible is encoded with deep knowledge. And depending on your level of understanding you will either get the real meaning behind it or not.

When you study quantum physics, you could say that matter is trying to understand itself. Imo, that reflects to the age old "god" discussion. We are god trying to understand ourself, and when failing, create a external non-existing phenomena and worship it out of ignorance.

Terrific example of someone that's clueless on the actual meaning behind JC.

Jesus is a metaphor. A symbol for spiritual and inttelectual enlightenment displayed in a astrological sense. Not an actual person who will return to earth and miraculously save us all. The fictional stories of JC display the results of what mankind as a whole could achieve when implementing/manifesting spiritual and intellectual enlightenment into deeds.

Another symbol that got exchanged with JC is the sun.

Adding to that, as a Buddhist, I respect Jesus fundamental teachings such as loving others like yourself and dedicating yourself to helping others. Interesting that the majority of the religions all share the same idea but because people only look at the differences and not the similarities, hate grows and leads to violence in many cases. But thus is human nature and the only way to overcome that hate is to realize that it starts with us. We can't hope to change the world if we aren't willing to do the same.
