*Alucard prepared for his second try of performing a suiton stream from his mouth. He took a deep breath and began by focusing his raw chakra once again, this time concentrating it to the core of his body. From there he started molding/gathering more and more chakra. Until he thought he had enough for the water-stream. As he exhaled the chakra via his throat, he used the nature transformation to convert the raw chakra to water chakra as it traveled out from his mouth. This way the chakra stream got more powerful and lasted about 15 seconds.*

Much better!!!! Now, try the same but through your hand instead of your mouth. The principle is the same and you can use your breathing to control and focus but the water needs to be released and generated from your hand, not your mouth. Try it!

*Alucard started off by focusing his raw chakra as he started moulding it in the core of his body. He raised his dominant arm(the right one) and began to channel the raw chakra there as he still moulded some up. As the chakra reserves began to satisfy his calculated assumptions for a needed try, Alucard used his nature transformation to turn the raw chakra into a stream of water that shooted out from his right hands palm. The stream was aimed at the air at first to lessen any awkward situations of Alucard getting wet.*

Perfect! Now, all of the techniques work using that basic principle, though using different aspects and different applications as well as different strengths, depending on the chakra used. They share, however, most of the properties and chosing between them is only dependent on the strength or type you need atm not their characteristics.

This one is a powerful and fast, large stream of water shot from your mouth. Very useful against streams of fire, it was used by kurotsuchi when they faced Kabuto and Edo Deidara.

(Suiton: Bakusui Shōha) - Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave

Description: The user performs the snake hand seal and creates a large volume of water from their mouth spilling it toward the ground and lifting them up into the air. The user can also ride the wave, allowing him to travel at high speeds and attacking the enemy. The user can create a small ocean worth of water even in barren conditions and can use the water for additional techniques.

Used by Kisame, its a simple yet immense technique. The most useful aspect of it is how it can be used to counter earth techniques by raising you above them (as you spit towards the ground, the water lifts you up before cascading downwards and all around as a large wave attack) but there is a second aspect that is very useful which is that the water won't go away when the technique ends, it will stay there. And it can actually produce a very large water source which is useful.

Description: After doing the needed hand seals Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Ram → Boar → Ox → Horse → Monkey → Tiger → Dog → Tiger → Snake → Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Bird, the user will form a gigantic vortex of water in the form of a ring in front of him. It will then shoot a gigantic torrent of water that extends water over a large scale, surges upon impact and rises up to several dozen meters high only to collapse down, forming massive waves all around as it does. The effect is such that as its collapsing it resembles a waterfall, hence the name of the technique. In doing so, it resembles a huge wave, with tremendous power that can hollow out the ground. What remains after that technique's utilization is reminiscent of no less than the aftermath of a natural disaster. This is a considerably advanced ninjutsu, and activating this technique requires a fair amount of chakra. The normal use of the technique requires a water source which is manipulated into the technique but some users have shown the ability to use the technique as a water stream exhaled from the mouth and forming more of a gigantic barrage/stream/wave of water rather than the more intricate and complex use of the main application of the technique.
Note: Can be used with a water source or by using one's own chakra to exhale the technique without the need for a water source nearby.

This technique doubles as both a Method 3 tech (which we'll talk about next) and a Method 2 tech. It can both be used ot manipulate existing water or to create your own. The volume is increadible and the technique is very versatile. From a large water source to a large barrage of water, you can pretty much to almost anything with the technique from defending to attacking.

Description: This defensive jutsu creates a wall of water around the user. The user will use the following hand seals to activate the technique Tiger → Snake → Rat → Snake → Tiger. Enemy attacks are completely intercepted by a fence of water blown out from the mouth, and is raised from below with tremendous might. The water is blown out in the form of a circle around the user, and it makes for a defence without openings. It is also possible for the user to control the amount of water and duration at will. Furthermore, because the field of vision is maintained even while defending one can easily go on to the next move, which is a great advantage. The wall can also be formed from a pre-existing water source.

Again, both a method 3 and a method 2 tech, this one is a purely defensive one. You either spit and manipulate that stream of water to form a water wall or you create said wall from an existing water. It can, like most streams, also be used as a source for techniques like Water Dragon which require a water source. In this case, despite spending 2 moves, you actually manage to produce a solid, single attack. I'll explain this aspect of water usage in the end of the training.

Stronger version of the other B-Rank technique. However, this one can be used to create a large Water Prison orb locking your enemy inside it.

Again, a simple yet dangerous technique, with this you exhale a thin yet icnreadibly powerful jet of water which you can use to cut something my moving your head and wielding it like a blade.

LArge defensive unfocused water technique. It doesn't do damage but you can easily engulf a target in it and use it as a base for other techniques, such as a water dragon for example.

Method 3: Water Manipulation

Alright, so we've covered techniques that come from one's own body, creating projectiles, streams and even our own water sources. Now we're onto techniques that require the usage of an existing source of water. This method focuses on using water from a water source and manipulating it to form the techniques we want. When going about using these techniques, you expel the chakra from your body into the water source as opposed to the previous methods where you'd manifest the chakra itself into water. There are a few exceptions I believe, within this method, however most of these techniques require a water source in order for you to use them. Now, the properties of these techniques vary. There may be projectile type techniques or continuous techniques that require you to constantly focus chakra in order to use. In essence, these techniques may exhibit qualities of water techniques in previous methods but the unique thing about this method would be that you'd need a water source for these.

Advantages of Method

Using your terrain against your enemy and to your favour is always a good strategy to gain the upper hand and these techniques can be used for just that. They can also be used to quickly transform one of your own techniques which can be defensive in nature into an offensive technique. The main advantage though comes from redirection and counter attacking enemy water techniques by using them against their user.

Disadvantages of Method

The main disadvantage to this method is the fact that these techniques require a water source in order for you to use. Unlike the last method where you are capable of manifesting large masses of water out of nowhere and even creating a water source, these techniques require a medium that is outside your constant realm of access. In battles where you do not have the pre-existing source of water you become incapable of using these techniques or become forced to set yourself up with a technique that provides you a water source.

Yeah i have some questions.

1. A human body is consisting 70% water, it's not pure but.. Could a master suiton user actually manipulate the water inside their opponent? If not, why?

2. Can you manipulate non-pure water, for example mud, oils etc. Or are there limits?

3. How can you tell if you can manipulate the water in the area? Is there a limit distance-wise?

4. Can a more advanced technique from the opponent actually make you loose the control of the water that you manipulate?

5. If a area lacks water, there is atleast one user who can create water from thin air. Is this possible only with Tobirama bios or are there cannon jutsus that let you do that?

6. Say you stain an area with a water projectile. It crashes into a wall, for example. Can you use that water to manipulate still or?

1) yes in theory but such an ability would require either a HA, KG or some special ability and might be, otherwise, unapprovable.

2) You can manipulate water, even if its dirty, as long as its water. If its mud or oil, you can't as its not water. Dirty Water is not Mud for example.

3) Thats bound to the technique you'll use and its range. Some will say they can manipulate water short range from you, others will be able to manipulate water in any range from you.

4) Only if its higher ranked. You can overpower the chakra inside the water that is manipulating it and take it as your own but for that you need to overpower, which requires a higher rank and the result will always be a weakened technique

5) I don't understand this question or how it relates to this method. Can you develop it a bit further?

6) yes but only if you used a big enough technique or one which the water will still be left intact afterwards. Some techniques, the water will disappear from the field once the tech ends. Also, techs that require big sources will require more water than that.

No. Like I said, it needs to be mostly water to the point where it will be water, even if it has small quantities of other stuff inside it.

Yes, one level is enough. You just need a technique that has a description that allows it.

Question makes no sense because Tobirama bios can use ANY technique that requires or not a water source without one. They can bring about the needed moisture from the humidity in the air around them and through their chakra alone. There are cannon techniques where they are performed without a water source and materialized from thin air. Others that require a water source...well, require a water source. Lol

The dragon comes down from above the target, bites the target and coils down, towards the ground, crushing the target between the ground and the now incredible mass of falling water. Tobirama Senju does this technique with his own specific hand seals, similar to how he does some other water techniques. Despite long and seemingly complex, the technique is quite fast to perform and trigger.

As you can notice, some we've talked about before in other methods. This simply means the technique can be used to either produce its own water or to manipulate existing one. Now, I expect questions on this.

This can't just.. Be used. It take ages to perform and there's lotsa things the opponent could do to counter this, like throwing a kunai. I assume you just have to immobilize the target first, or put them out of balance.

Damn man.. This is a very simple yet badass move.. No questions about it, however if the user chooses to manipulate the earth under them turning it into very hard ground.. Would it still be able to pierce through and be able to be executed?

The effect is such that as its collapsing it resembles a waterfall, hence the name of the technique. In doing so, it resembles a huge wave, with tremendous power that can hollow out the ground. What remains after that technique's utilization is reminiscent of no less than the aftermath of a natural disaster. This is a considerably advanced ninjutsu, and activating this technique requires a fair amount of chakra. The normal use of the technique requires a water source which is manipulated into the technique but some users have shown the ability to use the technique as a water stream exhaled from the mouth and forming more of a gigantic barrage/stream/wave of water rather than the more intricate and complex use of the main application of the technique.
Note: Can be used with a water source or by using one's own chakra to exhale the technique without the need for a water source nearby.



So.. This is a hybrid tech, can be used with water source which would lead to a more tactical use or just spit out from the user. I see, still requires an infinite amount of handseals..

The water is blown out in the form of a circle around the user, and it makes for a defence without openings. It is also possible for the user to control the amount of water and duration at will. Furthermore, because the field of vision is maintained even while defending one can easily go on to the next move, which is a great advantage. The wall can also be formed from a pre-existing water source.



So it's not a circle.. It's a sphere since it says it leaves no openings? What'd happen if it got hit by a raiton projectile? It's not like the user touches the water really though, but what'd happen?

Description: The user will clap his hands and slam them on the ground, streaming an incredibly rapid stream of water through it, creating a large pool of water beneath the opponent to form, that gushes upwards in a burst, lifting the opponent high into the air. The user does the Bird → Dog → Snake → Rat hand seals after his opponent is mid air, using the water pool to shoot up to 8 small water bullets, designed to further raise the opponent into the air, disorient him and damage him. The water bullets gather above the opponent after hitting and passing through his position and form into a water dragon which then attacks the target, grabbing it in its jaws and forcefully bringing it crashing into the ground. The dragon comes down from above the target, bites the target and coils down, towards the ground, crushing the target between the ground and the now incredible mass of falling water. Tobirama Senju does this technique with his own specific hand seals, similar to how he does some other water techniques. Despite long and seemingly complex, the technique is quite fast to perform and trigger.



Damn man.. This is a very simple yet badass move.. No questions about it, however if the user chooses to manipulate the earth under them turning it into very hard ground.. Would it still be able to pierce through and be able to be executed?
1. because its a basic move thus why its low ranked. All elements have a basic technique. One that is a simple basic use of the element. Its low ranked because its basic and simple.

2. A clone cannot be manipulated by you unless its your own because its a clone. Its different from normal techniques. However, when hit, the clone disperses into water which you can then use for a technique. They cannot reform though.

3. Ice is strong towards water. A c-Rank water can break a D-Rank ice.

4. One is small scalled, the other larger scaled. Damage is not relative to only such effects. Some unpressured, enormous, unfocused techniques do the same damage as other smaller, more pressured and focused techniques.

5. Look at the description: User creates a whirlpool that sucks any opponent in range underwater. It basically says the opponent must be out of the water, on top of it or on its surface somehow, before it can suck him down towards it. If he's under the water source, within rock, how would this work? Think about a whirlpool. See what it is. You'll see it couldn't happen like you describe.

The user will manipulate their chakra and then they create water to rise up from the ground beneath the target lifting them into the air.
Read the description carefully. It creates water on the soil and makes it rise up, lifting the opponent in a sort of explosion of water.

8. Yes, it would be a good counter to such moves.

9. In narutoverse, how long you take to do handseals is pretty much as relative as the origins of chickens and eggs. This technique, when it was first used, needed all those handseals by both Zabuza and Kakashi and it took ages to do them. When Kakashi fought against Sakura and Naruto, he did that same sequence in about 2 to 3 seconds. Blazing fast. And we saw that Mei only needed to use one simple handseal. This technique is easier to use the better you are with Water Release. Normal users need all those handseals and its low ranked. Secondary specialists can do it of a higher rank and doing the handseals in a speed similar to how Kakashi did it when he faugth naruto and sakura (thus fast enough for it to not matter how many they are) and primary water specialists can do it S-Rank and with a single handseal, similar to Mei and Tobirama.

like you can read, you stream water through the ground to beneath your opponent. Its very unlikely he has a technique that can alter the ground beneath him in that time frame. If he has, yes, if its a high enough rank. However, if the ground is hard or soft or whatever by its nature, it matters not.

This method will be easy. Basically these are techniques that create a different substance than the water, however, they still fall within the category of Suiton release. They are liquids that possess different properties than ordinary water, for example: Oil and syrup. Oil is a flammable substance, one wouldn't use this to combat fire but rather fuel it, and with syrup you create a much stickier viscosity of liquid that doesn't necessarily flow as fast as water but it gives a more adhesive property to it. There are other forms of water as well. Water Release can produce mist which is basically "thin water" or it can create for example Solid Water. The idea is that you can either compress water molecules really hard to the point of seeming like a solid or to "uncompress" them as far as you can as to produce a vapor but without needing to heat the water. Mist is, unlike Steam, not water in is gaseous form but rather scattered dropplets of water, so scattered that they are really small and float around, forming the mist. Alternative releases work basically by changing the density of liquid water by compressing it or distending it or adding properties to it (adhesive for example).

Advantages to Method

They don’t follow the traditional rules for suiton techniques meaning the techniques have a fairly new set of rules that govern them. This is both an advantage and a disadvantage. It is an advantage as you become capable of using these techniques in situations where you may not normally be able to because of an elemental weakness or some other occurrence.

Disadvantage of Method

As said above, the fact that these techniques don’t follow traditional suiton rules also comes as a disadvantage. Though you may be able to use these techniques in situations where you normally couldn’t at the same time you may become vulnerable in another situation where you weren’t previously with other water techniques. For example; you wouldn’t use an oil rain technique when your opponent is spewing a fire at you. Oil augments fire and even though it’s still “water release” it is a disadvantage.

How does this works? Do you simply change the description in your suiton tech and say you used mist or oil instead or are there set jutsus for the individual forms?

Its another set of techniques skorm, same as its with projectiles or streams, etc. Its basically just another form of using Water Release. In terms of techniques, you cannot choose to use a technique with these characteristics. You need to use a technique of this method to use it. Same as you can't use a Projectile technique as a Stream one. Its simply another method. Its important to understand this as you understand the element itself. The element allows these alternative usages. The element is not techniques. The element is the element. Earth can create rocks but not all earth techniques enable that. Water can be used to create sticky water but not all water techniques make use of sticky water.
