In this case we will tackle each technique individually as they are each unique and of a special type:


(Suiton: Mizu Kuri No Yaiba) - Water Style: Sword of Draining

Description: A technique that utilizes water to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like with a normal blade.
Note: Doesn't require a water source.

This technique is the one that utilizes what we can call "Solid Water". Basically, it works around the principle of making water so dense, compact and compressed that it becomes solid to the touch. This solidity however is only granted by its pressure and compression and once the chakra ends, so does the water expand and resort back to liquid status. In the case of this technique, its very useful in close range.

(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidding in Mist Jutsu

Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

(Suiton: Kirigakure Shiryoku Hakudatsu) - Water Release: Hidden Mist Eye Sight Deprevation

Description: Using the hidden mist jutsu the user reflects the natural light an a way that it blinds there opponent temporarily as long as the opponent is in the mist.
Note: Must have already used hidden mist jutsu

Both revolve around the usage of water release to produce or manipulate mist. Mist is, unlike water vapor or steam, simply scattered water droplets. Its cool and its still considered liquid water. Its just that the dropplets are so scattered apart that it becomes almost like a vapor. The first technique is essential to block the opponents eye sight and mainly to fight agaisnt Sharingan users. As the water droplets are infused with your chakra, it prevents the enemy from seeing you. Byakugan users will not be hindered by this nor will sensors. Wind can easily counter most of the technique. The second one is about using the water droplets to reflect light and blind the opponent. Its a simple principle.

Description:After performing the Ram → Snake → Tiger hand seals the user creates a flammable black mist that forms a small cloud. The user can then move the cloud above their target and disperse it, covering the target in flammable oil.

This one will be removed but until then you basically make black clouds that rain flammable oil on to the enemies. The oil can then be ignited.

Description: The user After performing the required hand seals Ram → Tiger spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channelling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand.

Sticky water. Basically you make a dense water that is very heavy and thick, adhesive and can be used effectively to bind your target or disable it. Not much can be said about it. Its very useful though.

These are all the techniques that aren't performed using the methods you learned up to this point.

(Mizu Bunshin) - Water Release: Water Clone

Type: Supplementary

Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user creates a clone of themselves made of water. These water clones have 1/10th of the users chakra. These clones are also limited in that they can only travel short range from the user without losing control. When a water clone take enough damage they revert back to normal water.
Note: Can only perform up to C rank Water techniques and requires a water source.

The elemental clones of Water Release. These are made by infusing existing water with your chakra, creating a copy of yourself. There are more limited than most clones as they have a range limit. However, they can be used effectively as water sources for some techniques.

(Suiton Hijutsu: Kirisame) - Water Release Secret Technique: Mist Rain

Description: A technique known by Kirigakure Shinobi where the user first performs the following hand seals Ram → Dog → Rat and then they make it rain. Any chakra that comes into contact with this rain will be eaten and reduces the power of the techniques by -10 damage. This technique lasts three turns.
Note: Can only be used by biographies from the Hidden Mist.

(Suiton: Ukojizai no Jutsu) - Water Style: Rain Tiger at Will Technique

Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake hand seals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

Both of these techniques revolve around the ability to make rain. Now, in our RP to make Rain based cjs, you need the Rain element. Rain Element is a specialty within water release that revolves around the usage of Water Chakra to produce rain and attacks based on it. However, the basic techniques of that branch are water release. The first can only be used by bios of Kirigakure. Its a rain that drains the chakra of anything that it touches. It basically reduces the damage of enemy techniques. Its however short lived. The second one is a simple rain infused with your chakra. However, the rain will react to chakra. Each dropplet will give back to you the information of "Chakra" or "No Chakra" when it touches somethings and disperses. This will allow you to make a sort of topography image of the battle field and detect any chakra signatures around. The technique is sensitive enough to detect individual chakra signatures and strengths but cannot sense the difference between elemental chakras. It will last until dispelled.

Description: The user can freely transform his body into liquid. This form allows him to avoid taking direct damage from many physical attacks but can not attack while in this form.

Basically, you transform your body into water to reform later and undamaged. While transformed, you move slowly and you are very vulnerable to lightning techniques.

First two are pretty basic but the third one is some kind of water sensory thing then? I guess the only drawback is that it can't sense underground nor tell you if you're in a genjutsu.

The last one reminds me of the hozuki clans ability, but what's really the difference and wouldn't a strong suiton opponent be able to basically rip you apart with strong shape manipulation if you turn yourself into water? O____O

Yes, thus why that technique is virtually useless in most situations despite being supposedly powerful

Other than that no. Btw do you have be allied to the Kiri village to use the mist techs or do you have to originate from it? Or reverse say you're not born in Kiri but allied with it?
