You can counter the palm blade with taijutsu or even free form dodges since they are punching you. You just cannot dodge the water with free form, so evade the punches and counter attack simultaneously student U_U

( Suiton: Haretsu sui Yashi ) - Water Release: Water Bursting Palm
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: After making the ram hand seal the user generates water around their right arm and then by thrusting their arm forwards they release the water in the form of a projectile bullet that drives through the opponent pushing them back several feet.

( Suiton: Nagareru no Muchi ) - Water Release: Flowing Whip
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user first kneads chakra in their mouth and then, placing their hand on their mouth expels water in the form of a whip which they use to lash their opponent, sending them flying backwards.

( Suiton: Shawā ) - Water Release: Showers
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user condenses water vapour in the air above them to generate multiple projectiles of water which shoot at their target with a great amount of force and speed. The user can also shoot a barrage of small water projectiles directly from the swing of their hand.

Ok, so the first jutsu is really simply. Simply perform the ram hand seal and generate water around your arm. Extend that arm forward and the water goes forward, driving into your opponent and pushing them backwards a short distance. Not really my style as it is a wee bit too straight forward, but not terrible.

Second jutsu. You spew out some water and manipulate it into the form of a whip as you grab it. Then you lash out towards them with said whip, sending them flying backwards! Note, the B-rank version is way more versatile and way more useful, so I pretty much think this jutsu is garbage.

Third jutsu. You manipulate the water vapor in the air to form balls of suiton that are pretty small. Then you make them go after your opponent with good speed. You can also swing your hand down and it makes it significantly more bad ass.

Any questions? If so, feel free to ask. If not, give me your opinions on the jutsu. Tell me if you would use them, how you would counter, and just talk about it Lol.

Yes sensei U_U Jakai says after hearing that he could counter the punches with freeform and to make sure to properly counter and attack at the same time. Jakai then moves onto the new techniques.

I mean, this tech is used to push opponents back. So it means it's great for countering a rush attack from them. However, considering this requires a handseal and all, it's not something that can be done so quickly (even if it is one handseal, this technique would be far more useful in getting out of situations if there was able to be done without handseals.) Honestly, there isn't much of a downside to this technique considering it doesn't do much. A simple counter would be to use an earth wall to get in front of me and take the hit, or using an armor technique that will keep me planted on the ground I am on.

To be honest, for a second, I thought this was the same move as the one right above just without a handseal. The only difference would be the lack of handseals and the water being in a thinner whip like attack, as opposed to a burst of water. The downside would this would be whatever weaknesses comes with a whip. To be honest, some of these techs I see learning are techs I'm willing to take a hit from. A counter I would use though would be to an earth tech or armor as the most basic cover.

Alright, so this technique is alright. I honestly love that badass way of swinging your hand down to make a dramatic power pose when performing a tech lol. So considering this tech makes multiple projectiles, it would be best to have a wide and lasting line of defense. Considering the entire sum of projectiles though lead up to C-Rank power though, each projectile itself is really weak in power. I would counter with an earth armor tech U_U Make those little water balls bounce right off.

After a sum of hand seals, you create a ball of water in your hand. You extend it outwards towards the opponent and it a wall of water gets sent at them. Nothing terribly fancy, takes a little time, just a meh attack in general. I hate attacks that are so simple.

The next one is my favorite suiton ninjutsu. After 44 hand seals, you create a dragon of water from a water source. Up to s-rank for primary water specialists, a-rank for secondary specialists, b-rank for no specialists. The versatility of this jutsu is exponential, as long as you have that water source.

Third jutsu is probably more versatile than Suiryudan, but not as strong. After a hand seal, form a ball of water pretty much anywhere and out come the whips. Manipulate the whips to do what you want. Disgustingly useful in my opinion.

Just do the regular

Note: No water source required

(Suiton: Suiryuudan no Jutsu) - Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet Technique
Rank: B-S-Rank
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20-40
Damage Points: 40-80
Description: After performing a long series of hand seals Ox β†’ Monkey β†’ Hare β†’ Rat β†’ Boar β†’ Bird β†’ Ox β†’ Horse β†’ Bird β†’ Rat β†’ Tiger β†’ Dog β†’ Tiger β†’ Snake β†’ Ox β†’ Ram β†’ Snake β†’ Boar β†’ Ram β†’ Rat β†’ Yang Water β†’ Monkey β†’ Bird β†’ Dragon β†’ Bird β†’ Ox β†’ Horse β†’ Ram β†’ Tiger β†’ Snake β†’ Rat β†’ Monkey β†’ Hare β†’ Boar β†’ Dragon β†’ Ram β†’ Rat β†’ Ox β†’ Monkey β†’ Bird β†’ Yang Water β†’ Rat β†’ Boar β†’ Bird the user then shapes a large amount of water into a giant, powerful dragon, which hits the opponent with formidable might, dealing physical damage. The ideal place to use it is near a body of water, but if the user's skill allows it, it is possible to use it even in a place where there is none. The amount of water used will be in proportion with the user's skill as well as its power which can vary. Ninjas with a primary water specialty will be able to produce up to an S-Rank technique; ninjas with a secondary water specialty will be able to produce up to an A-Rank technique; normal water masters will produce the basic B-Rank technique. So you know, this is a simple tech. Nothing special about it. It's straightforward, meaning it's counter is straightforward. If this attack were to be used, I can counter with another water blast of same strength, or anything else. The good thing about this though, is that the attack can widen its range to make it a viable defense. But personally, I hate any sort of defensive technique that requires handseals. It's just me. I don't mind the technique, but it's not like I'll use it a lot.

Alright, finally. I consider this move to be the signature move of the entire Water Jutsu list. It's just the most iconic. Now, 44 handseals... That's something. Honestly, this is a huge reason as to why I would want to specialize in water, so that the large amount of handseals wouldn't be a problem. The attack is useful in it's strength, but it can be countered well too. I do have a question though. It says if the user's skill allows it, then it can be done without a water source. If I were to have set Water as my secondary specialty, would I be able to perform it without a water source? Other than that, that's about it for this technique.

Love this technique. What's great about this technique is the range and swiftness. To be able to create water to attack at long range is great. I can use this technique to create a water orb behind the target and get them quickly, or in the center of a group and impale all of them. I also love techs that can move onto multiple targets, cause even though it weakens each individual attack, it widens the rage and makes it more difficult for the opponent to defend from them.

If water was your secondary specialty, you would have to perform 44 hand seals and could only produce the a-rank version of the SuiryΕ«dan. You need a water source for primary or secondary specialty, since that bit was made for Mei and Tobirama bios xD.

Also, due to misuse of his CC and abusal of power, no longer can you do that. All techniques must be spawned at least five meters away from the opponent until Scorps gets back, to stop abusal of power.

Teppoudama. This is a decent jutsu, a staple of water ninjutsu users. It's a basic projectile that can vary in power after performing a hand seal, depending on the amount of chakra put into it. Being a projectile, you can spew it then move onto another attack, without having to focus on said projectile. You can also split the ball into five smaller balls that are faster and cover more range xD

Another basic attack. Perform the tiger hand seal and a jet of water rises up from the ground, being able to cut through solid rock. It moves at a good pace, and can be used to quickly pressure the opponent.

A lot of shape manipulation in this jutsu. After the hand seals, form a lot of water to create a spinning column of water that is a snake with a gaping jaw. You then use the snake to bite and swallow the opponent as the snake turns into a river and carries the opponent away, sending them toppling every which way.

The usual, jakass!

(Suiton: Teppoudama) - Water Release: Gunshot
Rank: B/A-Rank
Type: Offense
Range: Short/Long
Chakra Cost: 20/30
Damage Points: 40/60
Description: The user will do the Tiger handseal and will gather water in his mouth and then spits out either a single very large sphere of rotating water that can blast a huge area leaving it soaked or a series of up to 5 smaller yet faster bullets. The power of the technique depends on how much chakra the user inputs into it.

(Suiton: Mizu Kamikiri) - Water Release: Rising Water Slicer
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: After performing the Tiger hand seal the user creates a fast jet of water running through the ground that is powerful enough to slice through solid rock.

(Suiton: Ja No Kuchi) - Water Release: Water Snakes Mouth
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After performing the required hand seals Monkey β†’ Rat β†’ Tiger β†’ Dragon β†’ Horse β†’ Dragon it then allows the user to generate a spinning column of water which will take the form of a snake with a gaping jaw. This snake can twist and follow its targets and swallow them. After it has swallowed them, it turns into a river that carries the enemy away.

Right away pengweiner U_U

Alright, nice and quick technique. There are always benefits to projectile attacks. My biggest concern in general with projectile based attacks are how once they are released, they can't be controlled anymore. That can also be a benefit though. Anyways, a solid-based attack or defense would be needed to counter. Simple technique is simple U_U

Another great technique. So what's beneficial in this is that it's a quick technique that breaks the ground, so it can help in making small terrain changes. Since it's running through the ground though, it can be avoided easily if the target were to get in the air, but doing so would leave them vulnerable in the air, so this would be a nice move as a combo starter. To protect from this technique, I'd probably push the earth back towards the jet of water racing through it.

Nice technique here. So this can follow the opponent, which means it'll be tough for them to really run away from it. I noticed though that this technique doesn't actually cause any damage though, so that's important to note, making this technique used more to set the opponent in a trap or to get them away from me in a sticky situation. I have a question though. After the snake turns into a river, can we use another technique, like a lightning technique to shock the water? Obviously while it is in snake form and following the opponent, the user has to control it right? But I'm assuming once it turns into a river, the user doesn't need to control it anymore. So I just want to be clear on that.

For your question, you can definitely shock the water when it turns into a river. The shape manipulation and focus is done with, as it is just running water at that point.

Ah this attack, the gushing imprisonment. All you do is use your chakra to cause water to rise up in the shape of an orb around your opponent, keeping your opponent in place just by concentrating on said orb. Keep a hand seal held to "focus" your chakra on the orb, or it will definitely lose it's shape and turn to regular water, causing your opponent to regain mobility.

Next jutsu is average at beast. Perform three hand seals and spew out a jet of water. Basically a Suiton: Suidanha, only less useful and less powerful. Just meh.

The next jutsu. Slam your hands on the ground, and with the use of chakra, summon water above your opponent. You can summon it however high you want, or however low you want. If you summon it low and it hits your opponent, it would definitely serve as a good distraction since if you summon it right above them, they wouldn't be able to react before getting wet. Ten meters is when this jutsu gets powerful.

Discuss Jakass!

(Suiton: Funshutsu Mizu Kinko) - Water Release: Gushing Water Imprisonment
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates a flow of gushing water under the opponent which traps them in a sphere of water. The user can perform an attack while the opponent is trapped. This jutsu is similar to Water Prison Technique, though the user doesn't need to keep his arm in the sphere of water.

(Suiton: Haran Banshō) - Water Release: Stormy Blockade
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20

DISCUSSIONS! WORDS!

Technique! Awesome! Quickly traps the opponents! Leaves them stuck in water! They can't use Lightning attacks since they would shock themselves! I'll use Lightning Techs to shock them! They get hurt! If used on me? SENSEI!!! I NEED HELP! How do I get out of this ;-;

Technique! Strong! Goes good range! Can't be done close! From the mouth! It's a basic technique! Simple really. Is this a stream or a projectile based attack though? A little confused :/ If it's a stream, nice because it can keep going. If it's not, nice because I can use another tech after. Block with an earth pillar. U_U

TECHNIQUE CAN BE CANCELED IN AN INSTANT! Great! U_U Anyways, sucks that it has to be 10 meters above, because that gives them time to react. I'd make an earth wall surround me. Or a water attack to cancel it. I like being able to cancel it, since if the target tries anything on me, I can quickly react. So nice U_U

Good questions. To your first, don't think about just "countering" a technique. If I were to get stuck in an orb such as this one, I would use the suiton no jutsu technique to spawn water behind my opponent. If he got hit, he would lose focus of the sphere, causing it to turn to non pressurized water. If he defends against the water from behind him, he would still lose focus of the attack he is sustaining. Name of the game is pressuring your opponent. To your second question, it is a stream. Think of more creative counters next time :p

Ok, so the first one is easy. You use your chakra to merge into a water source, much like how some ninja can merge into the ground or some ninja merge into rocks. However, sensory and dojutsu can still track you rather easily. It's great to combo with the second jutsu in this list xD

Second jutsu is quite neat. Perform the ram hand seal and use your chakra to spew out massive amounts of water. Ridiculous amounts. After a short while, a barren terrain will look as if it were an ocean, with you rising in the air. You can choose to slam downwards, creating a wave that goes towards your opponent with you on or not on it, depending on what you want to do. Good for countering Doton: Yomi Numa and what not. Good for making the terrain watery too!

Perform the dog hand seal and use your chakra to create stormy conditions around your area. Then it will begin to rain, and as it rains, manipulate the water to form a wave that sweeps your opponent off his feet. Use more manipulation to wrap and bind your opponent as you suck out his chakra, draining him dry.

(Suiton: Mizugakure no jutsu) - Water Release Hidden Amongst Water Technique
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and then blend in with a water source to be undetected by the enemy for a short period of time. However Sensory Ninja and Doujutsu users can find the enemy easily within the water source.

(Suiton: Bakusui Shōha) - Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user performs the snake hand seal and creates a large volume of water from their mouth spilling it toward the ground and lifting them up into the air. The user can also ride the wave, allowing him to travel at high speeds and attacking the enemy. The user can create a small ocean worth of water even in barren conditions and can use the water for additional techniques.

(Suiton: Uramiame no Jutsu) - Water Release: Grudge Rain Technique
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 20 (-50 per turn while trapped in the vortex of waves)
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will first perform the Dog hand seal and release his chakra into the atmosphere which will then create an accumulation of large storm clouds in the sky, which in turn produces rain. The large amount of rain falling all around can then be turned into a large wave of water which sweeps the enemy off their feet while wrapping around him and binding him in the flow of water around him. While the targets are trapped in the water, their chakra will slowly be drained away. The water vortex can be sustained and controlled for up to two turns as long as the user keeps the dog hand seal made.

So this tech is similar to the Hiding like a Mole Tech, but for water. Obviously you need a water source, so this technique is limited. So I look at this technique with the same drawbacks and benefits. Sure it can help getting away from an opponent, but it can easily be used against them. The Water Cyclone that creates the spinning wave pool would still affect the user. Heating up the water with a fire tech would also affect the user. All in all, it's something I'd refrain from using, unless for an instant.

Love this technique for it's versatility. I see two main benefits of this tech. It can be used for travel and movement, as well as for water sources for later attacks. It really helps keep the supply up. Counters would be straight forward, and earth wall of sorts. Also, the opponent would also be able to use the water source as well now. A quick question I have for techniques like these that create water sources. If they state they create a water source, does that mean it can be used for techniques above that rank? So if this is a B-Rank Water Source, would I only be able to use this water source for up to and including B-Rank techs? I don't believe that's the case, but I want to be sure.

Hmmm :/ I don't like how this technique basically means I have to stay focusing on it. It's whole purpose is too consume the target's energy, but that'd only do good if he's immobile. That or I can use a clone to battle while I perform the tech. It's a relatively simple and useful move. I don't know if I'd be using this or not. Good thing I like is that it's range is far enough to capture multiple enemies.

Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 20 (-50 per Turn Trapped in Vortex of Waves)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user will first perform the Dog hand seal and release his chakra into the atmosphere which will then create an accumulation of large storm clouds in the sky, which in turn produces rain. The large amount of rain falling all around can then be turned into a large wave of water which sweeps the enemy off their feet while wrapping around him and binding him in the flow of water around him. While the targets are trapped in the water, their chakra will slowly be drained away. The water vortex can be sustained and controlled for up to two turns as long as the user keeps the dog hand seal made.

For your question. The rank has no meaning on the size of water summoned. You can use the b-rank tech for s-rank sources if you want, due to the quantity of water spewed out xD

I usually don't do four moves per, but Dork did these last four in one post for me, so like, why not?

Ok, first jutsu is simple. Take out your sword, jump in the air, stab it in the ground, and cause water to rise up around you, repelling your enemies!

Second jutsu. Create a torrent of water in your hand, then make contact with your enemy with said hand, and then unleash it's power on your enemy!

This technique is pretty useful and versatile. Create an orb of water in your palm, then with shape manipulation, allow streams of water from said orb to branch outwards and attack the enemy in cool ways. Again, a very versatile and unique attack, only limited to the user's imagination.

Then this one is pretty cool. Reminds me of Frieza attacking Goku. Create crescents of water and control them with your hands. It is only limited to your imagination, Jakass!

Now, you know the drill. A-ranks are next XD

I already see such an annoying problem with this jutsu. For one, because it's description says the user jumps, the opponent can easily prevent the user from creating the pillar by stopping him while the user is in the air. I have a serious question regarding this. Since the description says the user jumps, does that mean I can't perform this technique while I'm in the air? Can I use this technique while I'm in the air and just land with the sword in the ground, causing the pillar to arise? If not, then this technique really sucks in my opinion. So much can be done in the time that it takes to jump and land again. I find it too much of a waste.

Umm, Rasengan? Lol. So a few things, this is basically a like the Rasengan, though there is the added fact of the water releasing a wave of water after making contact. Considering the basis of this technique revolves around making contact, doesn't that mean it can be countered with freeform? The best thing to do is avoid this technique, because even if, say an earth wall was made to block it, the water torrent would blast the wall and it could still end up hitting the target. So I would avoid this technique at all costs and attempt to attack the opponent using this technique so that they would lose focus of the technique.

I like this technique. Very quickly, I can create an orb of water, which would allow me to attack a multitude of enemies up to mid-range. It's great for getting rid of projectiles. As with many techniques though, I have to be cautious of the amount of times I split the technique, considering each spear stream will be weakened. A way I would counter would be to, like you taught me, attack the opponent with another technique, which would cause him to lose focus of this technique (because it requires constant chakra focus). However, I have to be careful not to make the attack somewhere his spears could reach. I'll be enjoying this technique a lot.

I like this technique a lot. Omnidirectional attacks are so useful. So considering this technique is dependent on hand movements, my best bet would be using this technique in close combat taijutsu fights. I can easily surprise an opponent up close since it requires no hand seals. Also, because the blades react to my hand movement, I can easily destroy projectiles heading my way because the blades can have a multitude of sizes and directions it could be set. A good counter I'd use would be to bind the arms, perhaps with a whip. If I couldn't do that, simple earth attacks or wind blasts would suffice.

Excellent! With a quick response, Jakai creates a sphere of water from beneath his sensei's feet. The water would quickly engulf his sensei in water and cause him to begin to suffocate from air loss.

(Suiton: Funshutsu Mizu Kinko) β€” Water Release: Gushing Water Imprisonment
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user creates a flow of gushing water under the opponent which traps them in a sphere of water. The user can perform an attack while the opponent is trapped. This jutsu is similar to Water Prison Technique, though the user doesn't need to keep his arm in the sphere of water.

Note: Technique creates its own water source
Jakai then gave a devilish smile. This is going to be fun.

Come with intent to kill. Anything less will not end well for you.

Tobirama uses his chakra to form water under his opponent to shoot him upwards in the air, disrupting his focus on the water prison. He then took out two explosive tagged kunai and aimed for each side of the kid, hoping to blow him to smithereens.

Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points:20
Description: Creates small waves of water, small blasts, and small shields of water.
Note: Doesn't require a water source but can be used to manipulate existing water.

Unexpectedly, small water blasts appeared underneath Jakai and raised him into the air, disrupting his focus on the previous technique. After hearing his sensei, he was ready to be intense. So be it Sensei! Jakai then saw the incoming kunais heading his way. Quickly, he performed the snake handseal while in the air and spat out a large volume of water from his mouth. The amount of water would be enough to cover the entire field in water, even where his sensei would stand. The water would soon turn into a wave that Jakai began to ride on. The wave of water and the wide coverage it had was enough to easily push back the kunais and take care of the explosions they would throw.

(Suiton: Bakusui Shōha) β€” Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user performs the snake hand seal and creates a large volume of water from their mouth spilling it toward the ground and lifting them up into the air. The user can also ride the wave, allowing him to travel at high speeds and attacking the enemy. The user can create a small ocean worth of water even in barren conditions and can use the water for additional techniques.
As Jakai rode the waves and neared his sensei, the waves rose high enough to cover Jakai's presence (as Jakai was riding slightly behind the top of the wave). Jakai would then focus his chakra and merge within the water, concealing his presence. He would quickly use the waves as a distraction for his sensei, while Jakai would appear 5 meters behind his sensei, who would still be facing the wave of water.

(Suiton: Mizugakure no Jutsu) β€” Water Release: Hidden Amongst Water Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and then blend in with a water source to be undetected by the enemy for a short period of time. However Sensory Ninja and Doujutsu users can find the enemy easily within the water source.
As Jakai rose from behind, reaching short range of his sensei, he would then focus his chakra and create two spiraling liquid streams of water on his sensei's right and left side. The masses of water would rise up and spiral into his sensei, with enough force to easily impale him on contact due to the high spinning motion of the water.

(Suiton: Suigandan) β€” Water Release: Water Fang Bullet
Type: Offensive
Rank: C
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: TA technique that deals physical damage to the enemy with a liquid mass brought forth from underwater. Its power to kill and maim is augmented by adding a spinning motion to the compactly pressured water. During fights on water, taking advantage of its characteristic ability to attack from anywhere in a 360 degrees radius, in conjunction with other techniques for distraction, confusion and so forth, this technique has an extensive array of applications.

Note: Requires a water source.
Immediately after creating the two liquid masses, Jakai would throw three shurikens aimed at his sensei's back. (Wave in front, Water Fang Bullet on Left, Water Fang Bullet on Right, Kunai on Back)

I have seen all I need. You are quite gifted, and I love the sneakiness you came at me with. Though I do apologize, but you used the last jutsu wrong. You can only create one tendril at a time. Other than that, nice usage of the first two jutsu. ^^

You ready for A-ranks Jakass?
