Nope, got it
Alright. Sorry for the late reply. I went away for the weekend :T_T:.

Anyways, give your try on this one o-o. Be detailed. While basic I'm sure there's a fair amount you can say about it.

(Suiton: Mizu Kamikiri) - Water Release: Rising Water Cutter
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: 30
Description: After waving the Tiger hand seal the user slams his foot to the ground, causing water to rise up and travel towards his target as a slicing jet.

OT: So sorry, to be honest, I thought I replied two weeks ago. I didn't want to bother you because I thought you were busy, and then I checked and realized I didn't reply... So sorry bud! Also, I'm gonna switch to Jakai instead of Itachi just cause he's my new bio lol

Right away Sensei!

Jakai walks over to a river and begins to stand on the water and faces a nearby tree next to the river. He then performs the Tiger seal, then begins to mould chakra in his body and moves it down to his right leg and feet. He then begins to focus more on the chakra nature and he stomps on the water ferociously, and sends his chakra straight ahead of him towards the tree. Then, right were his chakra was sent, water rises from the river and begins to travel straight towards the tree. The water then forms into a slicing wave and cuts the tree clean across bark, and causes the tree to fall down (TIMBER!!!... again).

This technique is useful given that it only requires a single handseal to use and can be made as an effective cutting attack. An issue though is that the technique can not be directed to far away, and is limited to short or mid distance. If I were to counter, I'd use an earth wall to defend from the technique or if I was fast enough, I'd stop the user from even slamming his foot on the ground so the technique would not begin.

No worries lol. So the next technique is a straight forward stream technique. Overall nothing very special about it. Note that apparently it can carve the earth if you use it multiply (yay old grammar in these techniques) times. So the cutting potential of this technique isn't very great. That is probably the biggest deal with this technique considering it takes time to carve even regular earth. I'll let you handle the rest!

Jakai walks over to a nearby boulder and stands still. He then begins to mould chakra in his body and concentrates it in his stomach. He then begins to focus the chakra up towards his mouth. He then focuses more on the chakra nature and changes the properties to water. He then spits outwards, releasing a wave of water straight ahead of him towards the the boulder. The first wave hits the boulder and then Jakai repeats the same process, causing the water to begin carving the earth slightly.

This technique is useful given that it there are no handseals needed to use and can help to push back the opponent in case he gets near. An issue though is that the technique can not be directed to far away, and is limited to short or mid distance, also it's not very strong since it requires multiple uses to even carve into earth. If I were to counter, I'd use an earth wall to defend from the technique or attack with a fire technique of higher rank to boil the water while it was still being thrown and then use the mist that would be created after as a means of hiding.

Very good Jakaijakai c:

The next technique essentially has you weaving a series of hand seals causing water to rise and create a pool for a summoning to be encased in. This also allows you to create a wall in essence to block attacks or to simply trap an opponent to drown them. So basically you create a box of water on the field. This is also useful in the sense that it creates water to be used for a future water source. But keep in mind that the opponent can do the same. Try it out!

(Suiton: Seibun Hลfutsu) - Water Style: Water Heavens Convergence
Rank: C
Type: Defensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid

Description: After performing the required hand signs Tiger โ†’ Dog โ†’ Monkey โ†’ Snake โ†’ Boar โ†’ Tiger the user makes water rise from the ground and they can use this water in various ways. They can create a body of water for a water summoning to be encased in and allow them to move around where normally no water exists, or create a body of water to block incoming attacks or surround his target and then drown them.

Jakai excitedly smiles after hearing the next technique he was about to learn. Awesome! Let's get to it!

Jakai goes over to the center of the training grounds and takes out 3 kunai in each hand, for a total of six. Using his aim, he throws the six of them straight up into the air, waiting for the kunais to return. As they are sent in the air, Jakai begins with the series of handseals. Tiger, Dog, Monkey, Snake, Boar, and finally Tiger again. After he does, he focuses his chakra until he sees the kunai return. At the sight of their fall right back to Jakai, Jakai begins to create a wall of water that rises up and protects Jakai from the several kunai. Jakai then moves out of the way and releases the technique, causing a large amount of water to remain and the six kunai still present.

This technique is useful given that it lets the user have variety in the purpose of the technique, and can be used both offensively and defensively. An issue though is that the technique can not be directed to far away, and is limited to short or mid distance, and the several handseals is also an issue as another opponent may be able to counter as he sees the handseals being performed. If I were to counter, I'd use a fire technique to boil the water and then create a steam of water that can be used to mask my movements (against regular eyes) and follow up with another attack.

Alright, nice job. Remember you can use this in combination with lightning techniques as well. Lightning and water are natural companions.

Let's give you a shot on your own to see what you come up with on the next technique.

Yes Sensei! Jakai says as he attempts the next technique.

Jakai then heads over to the river nearby. He focuses his chakra underneath his feet as he runs towards the lake and smoothly transitions into walking on the water without any sign of stopping, showing his improvement with his chakra control. He then stops at the center of the river and stands still and firm. Jakai then focuses his chakra underneath him and on the water below. After molding his chakra, he sends it through to the water and forces it upwards, making the water stream high into the air. Jakai calmly stands on top of the water as it rises, now standing high in the air, and looking down on the training grounds. Jakai sees his Sensei and waves to him.

Hi Sensei! The view isn't that great but it's definitely nice! Jakai then releases the technique slowly and begins to descend. He then lands back on the water and heads back to his sensei. As with the previous techniques, he begins to explain the technique he just learned. So there's obviously one big disadvantage, and that's the requirement for the water source. So it's quite a limited technique right there. Now it is pretty good for getting out of of an attack, since it does go as far as mid range, so that is a plus. Also, there's no handseals, so that is nice. I have a question Sensei, actually a couple. For one, can I use other techniques while I'm on top of the water? It would be difficult as I'd have to focus my chakra on the technique itself. So I'd assume I wouldn't be able to. If that were the case, then it would be a negative. My other question, by propel, does it mean it shoots me up in the air, or that it rises in the air and I stay on top of the water? Other than that, I like the technique. Now if I were to counter, I'd probably shoot a lightning attack at the person while he is on top of the water, and while I am not connected to it, to shock him like crazy.

While you're maintaining the technique to propel yourself you can't use other techniques. I imagine what they mean by propel is push you quickly in a linear direction. That could certainly be up, down, or to any side. Or simply propel yourself forward in the water source for quick movement and evasion.

This next one is probably one of the most straight forward water techniques.

(Suiton: Suihachi) โ€“ Water Release: Hand of waves
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: the user will produce a fairly powerful jet of water from the user's hand.

Hand of Waves does exactly what it sounds like. Simply produces a jet of water from your hand capable of reaching up to short-range. Being hand seal free and fairly fast this is an ideal technique for someone who comes up close. The damage produced won't be fatal. But it can certainly hurt and push someone back.

The water from the jet was powerful enough to damage the tree and remove a large chunk of bark. After doing so, he looked toward his sensei.

It's a nice technique. It's quick and doesn't need handseals, so that's a plus. And the only problem is that it's not gonna cause a fatal blow. Regardless, it can definitely help slow down the opponent's pace. To counter, I'd consider forming an earth pillar to block the attack. Considering it's a fairly weak water tech, a low D-Rank tech can be done to cancel out the attack.

Sorry ;_;. Good work. There are a lot of these in the water jutsu list. But don't underestimate the rank too much. It can be surprisingly useful. But yes, its very simple. Moving forward, the next technique applies water from an existing source. You create a single torrent of spiraling water that you constantly manipulate to strike an opponent at various angles.

Right away! Jakai says as he attempts the next technique.

Jakai then heads over to the river nearby. He focuses his chakra as he performs the 3 handseals. After doing that, he controls the water to form a large spiraling stream of water. He then aims it towards a tree mid range from him. He starts off sending the stream straight towards the tree, but midway through the path, he manipulates, changing it's path to go up and then left and then hit the tree at a diagonal angle.

This is definitely a nice technique. Considering it's constantly manipulated to my control, I can make sure I can go through obstacles. It's also got decent range. Now one of the big issues though, is even though I can constantly manipulate it, it means I won't be able to utilize other ninjutsu, or mold chakra in general. Now finally, the way I would counter would be to either protect myself with a 360 Degree Barrier considering the opponent could manipulate the water to go around a single barrier. My other plan of action would be to attack the opponent. That way, they'd have to counter with another move, meaning they'd have to break this jutsu.

Alright Penguin, now I will assure you this thing. I promise to make replies within 24 hours. Should I fail this, I'll do 500 laps around the Leaf Village on my hands kick myself out of the Konoha Chat U_U

Thank you so much Drackos for teaching me!

Omg thanks for notifying me that you replied. NOT. 500 laps.

Onto the first jutsu. You simply channel your chakra on the water your opponent is standing on and create a big whirlpool to suck them underwater. Obviously you need to make sure the water source they are on is big enough, but other than that it is a useful and straightforward technique.

The second technique is relatively simple too. After weaving some hang signs, use your chakra to form a flammable, black mist. Further manipulate this mist to form a cloud and cause it to go above the opponent and dispersing it causes the flammable oil to fall on the opponent. Next you just shoot some katon or raiton at them, igniting the oil and boom.

The third jutsu Yamato used to create a waterfall on a very big rock source. After weaving your hand seals, you send your chakra into a place without water veins and create spring water that can form a wave. I personally don't find this jutsu very useful outside of RP purposes, but you might.

(Suiton: Kokuun) - Water Style: Black Clouds
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description:After performing the Ram โ†’ Snake โ†’ Tiger hand seals the user creates a flammable black mist that forms a small cloud. The user can then move the cloud above their target and disperse it, covering the target in flammable oil.

(Suiton: Takitsubo) - Water Release: Waterfall Basin
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After performing the required hand seals Boar โ†’ Dog โ†’ Ram the user creates a waterfall by developing spring water in a place without water veins and manipulating the resulting water current to form a wave. This is a very convenient technique as it can be used for training or relaxation. On the other hand, because it changes the environment on a large scale, it also has the effect of hiding one's location from the enemy by confusing them. The width of the water source, waterfall, and basin can be expended, as long as the user continues to send chakra in.

I want you to discuss everything you know about these jutsu. Tell me some potential combos, how would you counter them, etc. Everything except performance please. All you need to know about the jutsu performance is in the description. :)

Ah! My bad! ~ Runs 500 Laps ~
As I said though, a reply within 24 hours U_U

So the first technique is really simple. Since the technique creates a situation the opponent needs to deal with, this technique is great in that an additional technique can be used right after. For example, a potential combo would be to perform this technique and then perform a lightning technique immediately after. Of course I'd do this while airborne or on land to not electrocute myself. A way I would counter would be is to use the (Suiton: Suichuu Teigen no Jutsu) โ€” Water Release: Underwater Motion Technique to propel myself upwards after being pulled in. It's a fairly simple technique, but it can definitely take some time away from the opponent and delay them.

Now this technique is unique. It's ironic how this water technique is meant to be used for combustion of fire power. The thing about this technique, it can easily be dispersed with standard wind ninjutsu. What is nice is that the technique can really be effective with a paper bomb, which would still give the user more chances to use other moves. A fire technique can't really be used before this technique though since the flames would already be present and the flammable clouds would explode before reaching the target (on some occasions). It's definitely important to note that even though the range is short-mid, a user should not try to shoot fire to make the clouds explode when near the opponent, or the user would get injured as well.

Description: After performing the Ram โ†’ Snake โ†’ Tiger hand seals, the user creates a flammable black mist that forms a small cloud. The user can then move the cloud above their target and disperse it, covering the target in flammable oil.
This technique is definitely a useful one. So even though there is no real offensive or defensive move that can be made with this technique, it's a great technique to prepare for other moves in the remainder of the battle. The most obvious, this technique can be used to create a water source. Given that this technique can create a waterfall, most water techniques, even of higher ranks should have sufficient water needed as a source. The only problem with this technique though, would be the time at which it is made. Considering this technique takes some time and that it can't be used offensively or defensively, it would be dangerous to use this technique without having someone covering your back. A clone would be useful to distract the opponent, or a teammate. In the end, this jutsu comes down to how necessary the user needs water sources.

(Suiton: Takitsubo) โ€” Water Release: Waterfall Basin
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: After performing the required hand seals, Boar โ†’ Dog โ†’ Ram, the user creates a waterfall by developing spring water in a place without water veins and manipulating the resulting water current to form a wave. This is a very convenient technique as it can be used for training or relaxation. On the other hand, because it changes the environment on a large scale, it also has the effect of hiding one's location from the enemy by confusing them. The width of the water source, waterfall, and basin can be expended, as long as the user continues to send chakra in.

Amazing job!

The first jutsu is very easy to perform, though it requires a water clone to be present. After performing a water clone, you use the water clone as a medium, turning him into four projectiles that shoot towards the opponent. It's a neat trick, but due to you needing to use a water clone, it makes this jutsu relatively useless. The water clone is probably the worst canon technique, as the Kage Bunshin, Raiton Bunshin, Iwa Bunshin are all better.

The second technique is kind of cool, especially for taijutsu and suiton users. After getting into striking distance, you would essentially punch and kick them multiple times, lifting them into the air, then releasing a crescent of water towards their body, which would be in the air by this time. Due to the short range, the opponent would not have time to form ninjutsu to defend against your attack.

Water Pillar Thrust. Edward's favorite move Lol. You essentially use your water chakra to form a pillar of water under your opponent. The pillar of water raises your opponent into the air rather quickly, though it does not damage your opponent. It merely throws off their concentration from the sudden change of placement.

Again, tell me some combos and how you would defend. Tell me if you like the jutsu and would you use it in battles, then why. The good stuff.

Now this is actually an alright technique. I mean, there are some issues with it, but I can see myself using it. Now obviously, there's the big downside of having a water clone already been made. And considering the clone can't even go past mid-range, you'd pretty close to it at all times, so you can't use it from a sizable distance. But the reason I like this technique, is that it's a great surprise technique. If someone were to attack the clone, before their attack can hit, I can use this technique, which can either stop their attack, or avoid the attack and strike the target. But, since I doubt I'd use the Water Clone, since the other clones are generally more useful, it's only an okay technique. The counter is relatively simple, since this technique is just a straightforward projectile attack, so most standard offensive attacks of a the right rank would work. Even an earth wall would be good.

Now the good thing here, this is a perfect technique for my style. I love Taijutsu, so I can see myself using this often. The main thing I like about this technique is that it can help me get out of a dangerous situation since this technique separates the target and the user. In addition, the user would be able to attack the target while they aren't as mobile. The simplest counter I'd have is to use the Wind Stream technique as soon as I get hit into the air to get out of the way.

Well, I really like this technique. It's really simple, and it's pretty effective. I'd have a great time using this move in conjunction with other attacks while the opponent is immobile. It'd be better to use this technique with a clone though, so the target will have even less time to react. Like the last technique, the easiest combo would be to use the Wind Stream technique to get out of the air.
