yea im sure...he didn say "i'm going to train u b'cuz ace died" ..he asked luffy what is he going to even if he goes back to sabondy..suffer the same fate? as in get beaten by the likes of pacifistas...and then he put forward his suggestion.

Ace's death is related to the timeskip/training.
I never said anything about it being the main reason.

Luffy would have stayed in Amazon Lily for couple of days and then sailed back to Sabaody. Everyone else would do the same thing and in the end no one would get any training.
It was only after he got completely stomped in both Impel Down and Marinford he realised he is weak and helpless. He couldn't safe his nakama, he couldn't safe Ace, he wasn't powerful enough to be the Pirate King. That's the things he realised and that's why he choosed to train with Rayleigh for two years. This is why Oda wrote War of the Best and why he killed of Ace. It had to be done.

Ace was introduced at a good time... His destiny was to die in the war and we must accept it. U_U
And even if Ace was still alive (which I really wish he was) I doubt he would join the Strawhats he would more likely become captain of the Whitebeard Pirates cause IMO Marco wouldnt be as good of a captain as Ace

on the 2nd point, thats a valid point..we don't know the status of WB pirates..whether dey exist or not after WB's death. they could still be there or they could have disbanded. dont forget their pirate flag was burnt and moby d**k was destroyed

No, he was the reason Luffy accepted Rayleigh's proposal and Straw Hats could get 2 years of training.

I cant believe you can be so ignorant... Luffy knew he wasnt strong but still was head strong because he knew he would see his crew again and that they were alive like him and he would see them in Sabody again. But losing Ace flicked his trigger he then realized in the NW there would be plenty of people capable of killing his Nakama. After losing Ace he realized being so head strong without enough strength to back it up would be useless. Thats why he lost it on Maiden Island with Jinbei cause he thought he would lose everyone. So he decided to get stronger and train. Rayleigh wouldnt have suggested it anyways because he wouldnt able to train all of the SH if they came back to Sabody at the same time. So why dont you take your baseless statment and shove it up your crack. Oda wrote what he did for a reason stop trying to change that. If you dont like what Oda did then dont read OP
