Both medics have shown the reactionary feats to deliver a blow to the encroaching path. Since he has no knowledge nor has he cared about super strength in the past no reason to believe he'll break from habit. That's easily one path down. Now, he would then only know that one of them has super strength another path can be killed the same way from the other medic.
Now, Pain has no knowledge that Byakugou subverts death, nor does he know that Tsunade has incredible longevity. Another 1-2 paths can be taken out in surprise kills, like Tsunade planned for Madara.
Furthermore, the knowledge that they have super strength does not correlate to knowledge of terrain busting punches. ANother path or 2 can be killed from a ground punch depending on how many are in the immediate vicinity.
