@Apex: by that logic, EMS genjutsu > MS genjutsu > 3T genjutsu. This is all false though. Genjutsu is not dependent on mode, if it is genjutsu then it is dependent on individuals skill as Zetsu said. If said person is more skilled than the other, he wins. Just like how Itachi used MS genjutsu on Sasuke yet didn't manage to defeat him in genjutsu. Instead Sasuke broke through his Tsukuyomi.

I can agree though that with Rikudo chakra his genjutsu would overpower Madara, but damn it's restricted.

Your logic stinks why because sharingan > sharingan genjutsu not sharing an > rinnegan genjutsu not only is madara capable of not breaking the genjutsu but he gets caught himself. Example 3rd eye > Sasuke rinnegan yet he can block its genjutsu I bet ems cannot.

I assume you're talking just about Dojutsu genjutsu so I won't list other genjutsu. Also this logic is flawed to begin with because you are using the method to put someone in genjutsu to justify its strength.

By this logic I can thus say because both Tsukuyomi and Sharingan: Genjutsu require eye contact, and Tsukuyomi > Frog Genjutsu, Sharingan: Genjutsu is also superior. See? Just because Rinnegan Genjutsu, IT and KA don't use eye contact doesn't put them in same category.

Though you might have a point with the non-eye contact thing. I personally thought that was only because of the buff, because he needed eye contact to put Sakura in genjutsu which was no different from normal Sharingan: Genjutsu.

Smh and your suppose to be a smart or good debater my first post was a reference to yours because you said rinnegan genjutsu cannot overwrite Madara's because Sasuke with a 3 tomoe break a genjutsu from a MS user who has the stronger sharingan my reply was sharingan can see through sharingan genjutsu regarless of if the sharingan casting a genjutsu is a highler level then the sharingan its casting a genjutsu on. Your logic was flawed because the same effect does not apply to rinnegan genjutsu unless they're trying to catch another rinnegan user and genjutsu and ems madara or kurama are not rinnegan users so the same effect does not apply to also add the fact is Itachi already said

Sharingan is one eye it just have different stages same with the 3 rinnegans we've seen and yes Nagato could break I.T or Sasuke's genjutsu because he has the same eyes as them.
