Tayuya's most distinctive feature was her long, untamed, pink hair (depicted as red in the anime). She also wore a black hat with bandaged sides which was shredded when Tayuya reached her second state. She wore a tan tunic, much like the other members of Sound Four, with black shorts and standard black shinobi sandals. In her second state her skin turns brown and her eyes turn yellow. Her hair grows longer and turns pink in the anime. She also grows a set of horns.

Tayuya was overbearing and foul-mouthed towards most people, especially Jirōbō, calling him "fatty" and Sakon calling him "birdbrain", as he criticised her over it. She didn't think much of Shikamaru Nara as a leader, but as a weak, useless rat, who ran away when she used her Doki to attack him. Like several of the Sound Four, Tayuya had her own perception of morality as she criticised Shikamaru for sacrificing members of his team to bring back one person who left with them voluntarily. Orochimaru commented that Tayuya has a "doesn't-want-to-lose" mentality that can slow down the team. Like the rest of the Sound Five, Tayuya constantly referred to her enemies as "trash".

Tayuya made her first appearance with the rest of the Sound Four creating a barrier to keep others from interfering with Orochimaru's fight with the Third Hokage. She later escorted Orochimaru when he left.
When the Sasuke Retrieval Team caught up with the Sound Four after having left Neji and Chōji behind to deal with Kidōmaru and Jirōbō, the team managed to catch up with Tayuya and took the barrel Sasuke was being carried in. While trying to take it back Sakon and Ukon were separated from her, leaving her to retrieve it. While attempting to, Tayuya was confronted by Kimimaro, her former leader, who threatened to kill her if she didn't deal with some of the Konoha ninja resulting in her fighting Shikamaru Nara.
Tayuya summoned her three demons, which she controlled with her flute and easily gained the upper hand against Shikamaru, while at the same time activating stage one of her cursed seal. Being unable to read her music, Shikamaru had to fall back and build a strategy. When he finished, he had nine moves. As he used them, Tayuya used her Doki to block them, while Shikamaru observed her finger positions and how her Doki reacted to them. He eventually took control of the three with his shadow, telling her how he found shōgi fun because he can take over his opponent's pieces. Shikamaru then attacked her with the three demons, prompting Tayuya to de-summon them. Tayuya, activating the second stage of her cursed seal, resisted Shikamaru's shadow, even when he used his Shadow–Neck Binding Technique attempting to choke her.
Picking up the kunai that had missed her she tried to slit his throat but was suddenly punched in the gut and caught by his shadow again, and sees that he broke his finger in order to break out of the genjutsu, revealing that he only pretended to fall prey to her genjutsu. Shikamaru then explained about his plan and how he missed with that kunai on purpose to get her to come closer while he then prepared his Shadow–Neck Binding Technique. However, thanks to the brute strength awarded by the Level 2 of her cursed seal, Tayuya was eventually able to overcome him again after the shadow had shifted back and forth and was almost able to kill Shikamaru.

Kouha appears to enjoy hitting his attendants, especially the females. He also has a twisted personality - commonly known as "yangire" in Japanese - and takes pleasure butchering his enemies. He also loves the sight of blood and is well known for his eccentric personality.
Kouha also has a nice and extremely caring side to him, especially towards his attendants. When they were thrown away and left to rot, Kouha came to them asking for magic users. He bandaged them, clothed them, smiled at them, and appointed them. Though they think they are ugly because they have to be bandaged up, Kouha tells them that they aren't ugly, that it is proof that they have seized their power and paved their way of life, and adds that it's charming. This is why his servants love him so much now, and even ask to be hit by him.

Kouha was born in Kirigakure. Having two older shinobi brothers made him yearn to become a shinobi. When he turned 8, he joined the Ninja Academy, under Fourth Mizukage Yagura's rule. He was forced to kill his classmates, not enjoying it straight away. By the time of Kouha getting his Genin title, he had turned sadistic and enjoyed striking down whomever he must.
When he turned 13 years of age, his older brother Kouen decided he wanted to travel through the nations, and Kouha followed. He respected his older brother, and when Kouen decided to settle in Sunagakure, Kouha stayed there with him, where they currently train.

1.8 m tall, with a Van Dyke. Well built, and he is missing an eye. Wears an eye patch.
When dawning on the DeathStroke persona, he wears a solid metal mask with a black and orange fabric balaclava. There is only an eyehole on the orange side ( the left side). He sports a full body armour, has two custom swords that he carries on his back, and wields a katana.
Personality:
He was a true genius at birth. He used this intelligence to help others, and was a very kind, caring young boy. However, after the death of Shado, and his injection with Mirakuru, his grief made him impulsive, reckless, and bent on revenge. Slade also does not seem to be very tolerant of those who fail him
History:
Slade was born into the Bloody Mist Village. He was born a child prodigy. During the academy years, he formed close bonds with his classmate, Shado. Together, they completed missions and very excellent friends. However, it all changed when the Sand Village attacked. As he was a prodigy, his assistance was required at the battlefield. However, while he was fighting, he was up against numerous Jounins. Even after fighting valiantly, he was facing certain death, Slade accepted his fate. However, at the last moment, Shado intervened, giving her life for his. Overcome with rage, he annihilated the opposition. Overcome with grief, he travelled the world, to find a way to resurrect Shado. What he found instead, was Mirakuru, inside the caves in Kumogakure. However, just as he was about to leave, he was ganged upon by anonymous ninja. Used as a test subject, the Mirakuru was injected into him. This changed him. He became a killer, a cold-blooded one. He would stop at nothing, to slay the ninja's who destroyed his life. He stayed at Kumogakure, to develop his new found power.
