Yeah I agree, naruto only knows rasengan. It would be cool if he learned some wind-style jutsus or forbidden jutsus but all he has done is make a bunch of different rasengans. Not hating but it is true.

I was going to make a thread like this in the past but forgot. It annoys me too that all Naruto learned is how to create a bigger Rasengan which he didn't even use again until he leaned Sage mode.
Fair enough he became slightly more intelligent in battle but that's it. He learned how to dispel Genjutsu but it proved to be useless the one time he needed it.
For this reason I don't rate Jiraya that highly, he failed as Naruto's teacher to be honest. I feel he would have learned so much more if he stayed in the village instead for the 2 years. I mean how can Jiraya not go through elemental training with Naruto in that 2 and a half yrs while Sasuke already had 2 chakra natures at the age of 13.
Sasuke trained with a Sannin for 2 yrs and see how bad ass he became. This isn't about how strong Naruto is now, it just baffles me as to how Naruto barley improved, what was he and Jiraya actually doing in those 2 yrs???

I agree though he could have learned more considering he learned the normal rasengan in only a month. His taijutsu and clone timing improved and he learnt how to break genjutsu but he didn't really progress in terms on ninjutsu which was disappointing.

Gee,everything naruto can do is cause of Kurama, at least Sasuke could stomp even The Hokage with his own MS powers.You forget all the current power Sasuke has is not even coming from him. Thanks Itachi

Because Jiraiya apparently wasn't intelligent enough to figure out how Naruto could train himself to implement his element in to the rasengan.
But the better explanation is Kishi had to leave something for Kakashi to teach him. Otherwise Kakashi would look like a pretty useless sensei...I mean, Sakura is useless to begin with, then Sasuke runs off, and then he has nothing to teach Naruto?

SM Naruto beat 5 of the 6 Pains bodies without the help of plot it was only Deva where plot came into play. That is no joke. Kabuto's is only OP because of all the modifications he made. I agree MS Sasuke would probably beat SM Naruto but it wouldn't be easy

Anyways, I think it was normal Naruto wasn't so strong after two years. Manga focused on him and his progress for a while. If he came back like a badass, then we wouldn't see his progress like we have so far.

Its been said naruto is a slow learner when it comes 2 concepts the resengan was hard 2 learn kakashi can barley do it, and said jiraiya being able to 2 teach naruto that was unbelievable . Plus jiraiya taught him things about being a ninja and all that training came to pass when he had dialog with pein talk no justu or whatever
