lol you kiddies...
1) Pac is just straight up overrated. Only casuals think he's the best, because they don't know much about hip-hop besides the well known rappers. Compare Pac to the contemporaries of his time and he doesn't stand out much. His flow, rhyme schemes, lyricism and even vocabulary weren't even that great. The only thing he had going for him was charisma. His death eventually elevated him to a God-like status.
2) Just because Nas said Pac is a great philosopher, doesn't mean he is. Nas is just showing his respect, like how Tyson does to Ali. Nas craps all over Pac, like how Tyson in his prime would easily knock out Ali in his prime.
3) Sales and chart positions mean nothing. All sales really determine is popularity and we all know popular doesn't necessarily equate to quality.
4) Eminem doesn't solo all. Nice try, to whoever said that.
5) Kendric is old news. He's aight, but nothing special. Just another braggadocio rapper. He doesn't out do Nas, but there's a lot of rappers better than Nas like Aesop Rock, Pharaoahe Monch, Percee P, Eyedea, Sadistik etc.
6) lol'd Pac doesn't have a better discography than Nas. His most lyrically conscious albums were his first two, which coincidentally were his best ones (my personal favourite is 7 Day Theory though). All Eyez On Me is just your typical swag-rap album. It would be HATED by hip-hop heads if it were released in this era. Nas has undoubtedly 3 undisputed classics in illmatic, It Was Written and Stillmatic.
7) lol'd lyrical greatness is based on cohesive storytelling and rhyme schemes. Pac was an okay storyteller, but his rhyme schemes were so weak. Is it a coincidence that Pac's vocabulary is quite low compared to the likes of Common, GZA, Eminem, Kool Keith, Canibus and MF Doom? Nope, it's because his skills were less than others.
8) Lil B is pretty lol in a bad way. Meme/ironic rap is just meh, but he's okay when he gets kinda serious.
9) The rest of the comments are just mind numbingly dumb.
Oh and again this whole best thing is based on opinion. At the end of the day, there is objectively no rapper who is the best.
Opinions are based subjectively, but skills can be judged objectively through rhyme schemes and what not.
In terms of technicality, Pac is nothing.
Really the only pplz who had logic were NarutoB and Invincible.
