Tsunade > Base Gai Lol. She isn't slow, her fight with Madara proves this, with her blitz and rinnegan user, and taking down susanoo clones (while fighting sloppy). And Orochimaru's face is still recovering from being punched by a reduced strength, drunk and restless Tsunade. Tsunade fights by leaping a lot, and she hasn't really missed a target , and she faced speedy foes. She was even going to kick the Raikages ass for attacking Naruto, so speed isn't an issue with her. She prolly pick up a shark and throw it at kisame,

I wasn't implying that base Gai could defeat Tsunade. Simply, in terms of strictly speed and taijutsu, Gai is superior. I hope we can agree on that. Tsunade isn't exactly slow, but she isn't that fast either. Not entirely sure what blitzing feats you're speaking of in regards to rinnegan Madara, but keep in mind it was a 5 Vs 1. IIRC, she has no feats implying that she is faster then V1 Killer Bee who was shitting all over 3T Taka Sasuke. The same V1 Killer Bee who was getting wrecked by Kisame who was casually outmaneuvering him. Not too sure what leaping around and throwing sharks at Kisame would accomplish though. And I'm not even getting into Mizu Bunshins who would capture her into a water prison upon contact.

Katsuyu has no place in this battle, btw, and get's dealt with easily.

The only way Kisame wins is by using GSB or possibly draining her chakra. People underestimate how Tsuande can utilize her taijutsu/strength to her advantage, especially if it comes down to close combat

Tsunade has enough strength in her muscles alone to kill a person with a punch, or samehada.

Kisame beats Tsunade mid diff. She gets overwhelmed in a CQC bout. Kisame could clash with the like of base gai(and lower gate gai) and v1 Killer bee in a CQC and held his own nicely. 5-6 slashes of samaheda will drain her chakra and make it harder for her to heal herself. Once the water dome comes up, she loses.

Tsunade is a close combat fighter, she will come in contact with samehada if she wants to hit kisame,
Katsuyu is very slow kisame can drown them together in his water domu, when he merges with samehada its over.
Kisame showed that he is able to spy out a sea of water( when he was at 30 % fighting team guy), should be able to drown the slugs

Tsunades punches are powered with chakra, controlled in her hands, maybe kisame knows that, but however he would block tsunades punches with samehada and would feel that he can absorb chakra out of tsunades hands.
Samehada really is the problem, kisame win this high diff.

The ability to make clones will give kisame a big advantage which leads also to his victory

OT: Not positive, but I am fairly certain the Kisame that fought Team Gai can beat Tsunade.

That version if Kisame gets raped badly.

OT:IC character won't use WD or GSB right off the bat so he wins, but with mid difficulty.

sasori poison does not destroy cells...which tsunade healing heals from... his poison screws up the nerve messaging which tsunade was never stated or proven to heal from
