Makes me wonder how Tsunade is Sannin Level.
There is nothing like bold you know
Makes me wonder how Tsunade is Sannin Level.
With huge walls, he thought you'd probably make that mistake he was hoping you'd make. But unfortunately for him, you have the patience to sift through all of that without losing track of his points.Lmao he probably didn't forget. He just thought he'd try and pull a fast one on me.....as if anyone with half a brain wouldn't notice that.

Y'know what, you're right that Tsunade isn't V2 fast, you're also right that she didn't have part 1 stats. You were also right that I've known then I knew the first one the whole time. I did forget the latter but since I'm being honest I figured I'd do the whole shebang. In fact, you said what I wanted you to earlier. So my bad, for arguing just for aguings sake. It was just cool to argue about something besides the election. Yknow? But now that, that's happened. There's no real distractions any more.
So no, Tsunade isn't on the reaction tier of Ay's v2 shunshin. Not by a long shot. I don't know why I picked such a dumb argument.
However, Tsunade still wins this match up. If for nothing else than the fact, that Tsunade can camp and there's not a thing Ay can do about it. And while she camps Katsuyu presses offence. Just standing on top of Katsuyu like she did against Orochimaru gives her the win. This one isn't complicated, just boring. V1 Ay and Byakugou Tsunade tangle for a while. IF Tsunade gets a hit in, it's basically game over, since where ever she even grazes will radiate out like the damage to Madara's wood clone. So that grazes of the abdomen probably does serious damage to internal organs in the abdomen. etc. I mean he's durable but his not as durable as Madara's v1 Susanoo. Which granted did take the full brunt of her strike. But, still. If not then if Tsunade can't touch him at all, even with her terrain busting strength then she summons Katsuyu. Ay's not reaching Tsunade up there via shunshin. That basically ends the fight. Katsuyu still has her acid. If Ay, retreats and leaves the battlegrounds then he loses. v2 does very little. Keeping of V2 is no easy task for him. So he'd probably go back to V1. But there's still nothing he can do. If she melts out, he still can't safely reach Tsunade without getting caught in Katsuyu goo. Where we can bet a bit of bad medicine gets him and ends the fight. This is my argument. I think without Katsuyu, Tsunade loses. But I mean it's a part of her arsenal.
-snip-
:lol Of course. Oh RedRobin.
I'm still waiting for you to concede. :lol
Anyway. If V1 Ay got into a confrontation with Byakugo Tsunade he'd lose pretty soundly due to Tsunade's superior Taijutsu skill and physical strength capable of damaging something far more durable than he is. I doubt that a graze from her punches is enough to seriously injure him, he'll take moderate damage at best. But the bold logic doesn't make sense. That happened because the entirety of the force and energy she was putting out hit it's target. No reason why that would occur with a missed attack.
So instead of wasting time fighting her in V1, he goes V2 either from the jump or whenever he starts to feel pressured and then lands a serious blow. Rinse and repeats until she's in a position where he can finish her off. Not sure why standing on Katsuyu would mean that he can't reach her. He can simply dash up Katsuyu or run up Katsuyu at his normal running speed and then use Shunshin when he's close enough. Or he can simply jump from the ground to Tsunade's position using Shunshin. [You must be registered for see links] [You must be registered for see links] Not to mention even if he couldn't do any of this, hitting Katsuyu hard enough should knock Tsunade off.
The field melting+reverse medical jutsu is an issue. If Ay can Shunshin fast enough to basically tackle her and himself out of the field then it'll be fine.
As if him conceding suddenly changes anything. I will get back to you. Chill for sec.
Agreed.:lol Of course. Oh RedRobin.

Also agree I wasn't trying to express that the damage would be on the same scale but that some of the force that did connect with his body would move past the initial point of contact causing things like like a busted spleen or kidney.I doubt that a graze from her punches is enough to seriously injure him, he'll take moderate damage at best. But the bold logic doesn't make sense. Well, Ay isn't one who usually uses his cloak for extended periods. So instead of wasting time fighting her in V1, he goes V2 either from the jump or whenever he starts to feel pressured and then lands a serious blow. Rinse and repeats until she's in a position where he can finish her off.
Well, because if he tries to run up Katsuyu, she absorbs him. Or simply gives him bad medicine as he runs up her. Katsuyu only needs contact to do this. It doesn't matter if she's a solid or liquified. Not sure why standing on Katsuyu would mean that he can't reach her. He can simply dash up Katsuyu or run up Katsuyu at his normal running speed and then use Shunshin when he's close enough.
Well, by jumping up as high as Katsuyu he wouldn't have his V2 shunshin speed as he will have been airborn for quite a distance and He'll be moving linearly. And Tsunade will have the high ground advantage. He's likely to get smacked out the air at that point, since he willingly reduced his singular advantage over her.Or he can simply jump from the ground to Tsunade's position using Shunshin. I see Ay's hand just kinda getting lodged in Katsuyu instead of it sending her reeling, like his fist penetrated Juugo. Not to mention even if he couldn't do any of this, hitting Katsuyu hard enough should knock Tsunade off.
Well the fundamental issue in this strategy wouldn't be the linear tackle assuming that he doesn't slow down during the jump over goo Katsuyu, it would be that said tackle would also be a grapple. Since he has to have enough momentum to also get out of the field without touching liquified Katsuyu, which would only be accomplishable if he combined their masses so that they shared the momentum resulting in a grappling tackle. That leaves Ay in a pickle so he's continually decreasing in speed the longer he's in the air, with the drop in velocity when he grabs Tsunade, all he would have succeeded in doing was jumping into Tsunade's arms. Since, in a grapple situation she'd obviously overpower him, even in mid air. Also a slight tap downward from her whilst they are in the grapple sends Ay into goo Katsuyu. The field melting+reverse medical jutsu is an issue. If Ay can Shunshin fast enough to basically tackle her and himself out of the field then it'll be fine.
Makes me wonder what you're trying to imply by posting this?Makes me wonder how Tsunade is Sannin Level.
I see Ay's hand just kinda getting lodged in Katsuyu instead of it sending her reeling, like his fist penetrated Juugo.
What exactly does that solve? With his hand lodged inside katsuyu or if she absorbs him into her body he can just send raiton directly into her body to stun/paralyze her. Same goes for her liquid state.
What exactly does that solve?
Everything.
Since your entire argument is based around her, If He can stun/paralyze her he can easily get to tsunade, by either forcing her to jump off her due to the electric current running through katsuyu or him being able to freely run up her due to her being stuned/paralyzed.
Also agree I wasn't trying to express that the damage would be on the same scale but that some of the force that did connect with his body would move past the initial point of contact causing things like like a busted spleen or kidney.
Like when a person is clipped by a car, more damage is done than to just the singular body part clipped
Well, Ay isn't one who usually uses his cloak for extended periods.Cee commented on him keeping his chakra active as if such a practice wasn't standard. Which makes sense given that he didn't maintain it against Madara. Especially not V2 which emits Bijuu level chakra. You must be registered for see images

I'm not sure that anyone can be hit that hard without taking bone breaking damage. But I'm not really interested in this point as an in depth discussion would be arguing supposed spots. Lots of analogies of things clipping other things. Refutes of but you can say that her clipping will seriously damage his tough body. Overall, it'd be a drag.True, though I don't think the damage will be serious.
Do you have the viz on this? The translation looks a little shaky, mainly because it raises questions about one's limit, and how his total chakra amount increases because he uses more chakra. Like Gai and Lee pass their limits by physically blowing past them via opening the gates. And jiinchuurikis chakras spike because they have a separate chakra in them. Tsunade and Sakura have a chakra increase because they seal their chakra off. But where is this chakra coming from that Ay suddenly gains access to that his total chakra level rises? Where is this excess chakra coming from? I'm just trying to reconcile this about the chakra lesson we got back in part 1.C was just wondering why Ay was powering up so much, and V2 doesn't emit Bijuu level chakra. Ay's chakra level rises to Bijuu levels when he's using V2. So there's no reason why he wouldn't be able to keep V2 up, though that's not even necessary for this fight. Like he does in the Manga he'd simply use V2 whenever he wants to use his top speed.
Regarding Shunshin no Justu the databook saysShunshin is a burst of chakra that pushes someone from point A to point B. It's not like normal running so there's no reason why his Shunshin would be slower than usual just because he's going up. He'll move at his top speed until he reaches the peak of his jump. Especially since I just posted a scan of Ay reaching that high with no slow down in V1 let alone V2. High ground advantage is pointless if she can't properly react to Ay's approach, so she definitely isn't smacking him out of the air.
So the chakra doesn't just push someone from point A to point B they still have to run there with their vitalized body. Also even if that weren't the case, distance and elevation are key factors in shunshin.Appearing along with the wind, disappearing like the wind: the ninja’s instantaneous movement technique. This super fast movement is almost impossible to grasp with the naked eye. If seen by an ordinary person, it would seem as if the user has teleported… In reality, the user has vitalized his body with chakra and moved at super speeds. The amount of chakra used up differs depending on the distance and elevation of their stopping point in comparison to the starting point.
my argument is two fold. 1. Katsuyu weighs far more than anything Ay has ever even come close to moving. So the idea of knocking her away is a stretch. And his fist only penetrated Jugo because he hit Jugo against the wall. Otherwise his physical hit would knock Jugo away. Same happens to Katsuyu here. In her normal state she's solid and not any kind of liquid so there's no reason why Ay's fist would sink into her. Manda was able to grapple her before she split into multiple parts.
Well to channel his raiton would means that he touched the bad medicine and is probably now going to die. Also, the Kage's words don't suggest a deadly voltage but enough to paralyze. Also that effect will be lessened even more by Katsuyu being less conductive than water is.Then his only play here is to simply let Tsunade waste all her chakra since she needs to channel her chakra through Katsuyu to use the medical field in the first place. Or he can channel Raiton through the field and electrocute her and Katsuyu like he did with Mei and her Suiton.

I'm wondering specifically in what Karin is saying. Though I won't object to taking a peak at Cee's statement too
Regarding Shunshin no Justu the databook says

my argument is two fold. 1. Katsuyu weighs far more than anything Ay has ever even come close to moving. So the idea of knocking her away is a stretch.
2. If you poke a slug's body really fast with a toothpick the slugs not going to fly away its going to get stabbed. And Ay's fist in comparison to Katsuyu's body wouldn't even be toothpick sized. Thus, not blunt force as it wouldn't be large enough to be considered a blunt attack against something of that size. So it wouldn't smack it'd penetrate.
Well to channel his raiton would means that he touched the bad medicine and is probably now going to die. Also, the Kage's words don't suggest a deadly voltage but enough to paralyze. Also that effect will be lessened even more by Katsuyu being less conductive than water is.
Also can raiton users be paralyzed by raitons? That's a real question, I would assume so, but I've heard arguments against this.
In terms of waiting her out, portions of liquid Katsuyu can always solidify and push an offense of some sort that requires Ay to expend chakra as well. That game will get old soon enough.
Fair. You must be registered for see links
C says that Ay ramped his chakra up to counter MS, basically to use Shunshin when Amaterasu is used, and Karin comments on how high Ay's chakra is. What Ay is doing isn't going past his limit or accessing a separate energy to power himself up. He's simply molding more chakra than before. Basically how DBZ characters power up. They start at a low power level but then release more power to power up. Ay is simply kneading more chakra.
.The idea that it is superspeed wasn't what I was focusing on. Simply that we'd be talking about a jump still. A jump with a vitalized body or not its still a jump and one slows down as they go up. Otherwise, it'd be flying. The fact that Ay can jump up at high speeds, doesn't mean that he is going at the same speed he started at. Which was my point about the databook and elevation. I'm not arguing that Ay can't jump up, I'm arguing that he loses speed as he goes up as he essentially only gets to thrust himself upwards once and gravity is a thing. That doesn't disprove what I said. It being super speed doesn't mean it's not a burst of speed that takes you from point A to point B. You don't need to be physically running on the ground for it to be considered Shunshin. And once again there are scans of Ay and Naruto jumping in the air, at top speed using Shunshin. So I'm not sure why you are trying to argue that it's not possible. The Manga has already spoken on the matter
Well for starters, Gai and Lee still have more strength than the average shinobi even in base because of the extremes they go to in training. So while Lee pulled a tree root out of the ground, PTS Sakura or Neji wouldn't have been able to do the same thing. Also bear in mind the heaviness of katsuyu.Like DA said above me. PTS Lee in the first arc was ripping trees out of the ground. Ay's Karate Chop (not even a punch) knocked Hachibi down after he cut his horn. Katsuyu is just as large as Hachibi at best. PTS Naruto was knocking around a giant snake. Katsuyu may be bigger than said snake, but Ay>>>>>>>>>>PTS Naruto in strength.
Well the bold doesn't make sense because of physics. It is surface area that dictates if something is penetrative or not. Take the weapon Sai for instance.A toothpick has a penetrative edge. Ay's fist doesn't. Take a sword the same surface area and size of Ay's fist and you'd penetrate anything that wasn't hard enough, yet Ay wouldn't penetrate. He'd push it away. Jugo is a perfect example. If Ay simply punches him he'll go flying. If Sasuke or someone stabbed him he'd be pierced.
Yeah he did.He didn't have to physically touch Mei's Suiton to do so..
Ok thanks.B and Sasuke only seemed briefly stunned when Raiton hit him, so I'd assume it'd be the same for Tsunade. She'd be paralyzed until the electricity stopped coming.
It would last quite a long time as Tsunade only needs enough chakra to 'heal' one person, as opposed to the village she healed during the invasion arc, or counteracting the God Tree's absorption. But their only offense is acid, and Ay barely needs any effort at all to dodge that while Tsunade needs to constantly pour chakra into Katsuyu for her jutsu. It's pretty obvious which one falls first.
