Itachi, the fact of the matter is he accomplished his mission and became an Akatsuki spy for the Leaf, and that is all he based his values on.
no he didnt. he betrayed the leaf and left them in the dark clueless about akatsuki which caused the 4th ninja world war and jiraiyas death. and dont say he cant blow his cover. there is no cover to blow and if there was, blowing it to get intel to the leaf is his job as a spy. hes a pretty worthless spy if he cant get intel to the people he wants the intel to be in the hands of.

he would still be hunted for the rest of his life. no guarantee hed even get to itachi without itachi physically seeking him out and if itachi cant find him the leaf cant either.
yeah he is if he thinks beating someone into a coma makes them a hero. and like i said if sasuke woke up hed either not be allowed to leave and end up sent on some dangerous mission against akatuski
