My God...lul Hashirama was the only person in the past that could fight Madara on par, everyone else paled in comparison... however not even Hashi was strong enough to fight Madara for an extended period of time at this point, but Madara admitted the five kage were stronger than he thought and that Tsunade wasn't weak like he insinuated and that she indeed could heal herself without seals like Hashi to his delight surprise, doesn't change the fact Madara soloed them all with PS with the utmost ease.

Madara was the strongest person on the entire battlefield before Obito became the Juubi's jinchuriki, as Kishi stated in a early 2013 interview.

About Madara PS, Myokuton, Meteor cant stand Senpo: Acid Blast, Senpo: Mighty Punch. Tsunade Slug SM will defeat Rinnegan like how Naruto did with Pein. She get many intel and with Katsuyu as back up.

Tsunade will die anyway (even she say she never die at battle) and she will die as hero not as useless woman. So she will die fight Sasuke (kishi last villain) because believe still believe in Hashirama oath to protect the system that create shinobi world. Whoever honestly thinks Madara is weaker than Tsunade needs to be checked into a mental hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

She look like weak due to plot and have to save everyone it happen in both Naruto+Pein fight and 5Kage+Madara fight. Katsuyu call her 'Sama' for a reason. She must be expert in SM then anyone else in NV because of her Senju and Uzumaki background, chakra control/storage and even mastering all Humid Bone Forest jutsus.

It took Hashirama using a jutsu far above anything Tsunade could dream of doing to completely crush that susanoo with the kyuubi inside it. For her to beat something of that caliber would likely be near impossible, even if she really did have a slug sage mode already.

Remember who Tsunade symbolize in Japanese mythology? it's the Slug Magic the one defeat Snake and co. it beyond Kaguya story, Indra Ashura or Hagoromo Hamura because in different famous mythology. Everything in the NV storyline is based from The Great Gallant Jiraiya Book. While Madara Indra story is pale comparison to this slug>snake>toad>Slug>snake/dragon>Rabbit. IF all legendary Sannin really have sage mode that means it belong to sage group together Sage of Sixth Path, Great Sage Toad, Dragon Sage or Slug Forest Sage. Madara Indra have no place in this triangle. Sage Mode is what Madara desire for after snatch it from Hashirama the power Madara have is increase alot. Slug sage mode it maybe in same card as Hashirama.
