If she splits up (meaning her brains also split) then genjutsu will most like be in effective as a whole genjutsu will affect her
Katon is fire not earth they are different they will be burned and also they are slow. I'm not down playing Katsuya it's just her feats that have been shown.
As a whole she will be affected by genjutsu
Itachi has more chances of defeating her.

I find it funny how people think all genjustu are the same and tsunade can break any form of genjutsu. Ive already acknowledged that any form of genjutsu that isnt derived from the sharingan would be broken by a medic with high chakra control however sharingan genjutsu, is harder to break medic or not;
Orochimaru was stuck in a paralysis genjutsu and he was in the middle of breaking free however there was enough time for itachi to severe his hand before he did because he was paralysed and in that state its harder to break free. May i also say orochimaru is a chakra control expert if he gets a 5/5 for genjutsu. Moral of the story paralysis genjutsu would get the better of tsunade. How will itachi kill her?. There should be enough time to take her head off. Wonder whether Tsunade's fans will confuse her medic prowess to immortality and claim she can pull off a hidan.
Again i hate to sound like minato fans, but Tusnade just isnt hitting itachi. Not with a speed of 3. Secondly her main fighting style is taijutsu, id like to see her fight like that whilsnt not maintain eye contact. Sharingan or any form of bunshin isnt needed to evade Tsunade.
May i also say that itachi can launch numerous ninjutsu attacks that she will not be able to evade due to his handspeed. She might not die, but she would constantly need to recover and this ability to recover is from the use of chakra. If she runs out of chakra due to healing her injuries a time would come when an attack could kill her if she has run out of chakra to heal herself

Idk why everyone is genjutsu this and genjutsu that. Itachi loves 2 use genjutsu I mean he is the best at it and has the most powerful genjutsu in his left eye. But when genjutsu failed (if it failed, I highly doubt it would) he still has great ninjutsu. He can see your next move before you take it (after all he is a master of the three tome). He has literally never been touched but once by another sharingan user. And yall think he is gunna let Tsunade get close enough to punch him with 1 monster blow. Your all trolling

87 voted but not a single one besides few of us are actually debating here with opinions that are not those of a like "Tsunade wins this because I say so" or "Itachi wins this because he is an Uchiha" - which to be honest has been seen more often than the other sentence.
The genjutsu case I think is a bit debatable due to this: casting genjutsu or breaking out free. Why I always stated about her being able to break free is because of her medical ninjutsu and chakra control. It is stated in the same image that what you need is to disrupt chakra. Thanks to her abilities as a medic and great control over chakra I can believe she is capable of doing so. But I never said it would be easy.
As well she has Katsuyu which is known that can protect her by surrounding her body as we've seen in Pein arc.
I agree that she has nothing to do against decapitation, yet she has shown resistance to Kusanagy sword, Susanoo sword, cut abdomens biceps and respiratory muscles, 3 Yasaka Magatamas, full powered Shinra Tensei, but to be honest, that seems pretty far-fetched. It's not like anyone carries a scythe with them all the time.
I agree that she is not that fast but she is fast enough and intelligent enough to come with a back-up plan in order to land a hit on Itachi. She is a good analyzer and aware of her surroundings and how she can use it in her advantage.
She also attacks with not just her fists and feets, she is as well capable of medical ninjutsu. How will Itachi manage a pathway derrangement?
By nature her chakra pool is bigger than Itachi's and she has been shown to be able to keep a techique for a long time. All day plus night in the battle against Madara while healing the other kages as well as replenishing their chakra. As well as the Pein attack when she healed all of the villagers. That's a huge number. So I wouldn't worry about her chakra reserves to be honest.
Failed logic, she would regenerate her wounds from the explosion. Explosion is severe burning which she can handle.

And when hasn't Tsunade shown resistance to great ninjutsu leaving aside genjutsu discussion?

Tsunade got stabed by the tsunano and heal healed the damage, but i dont think tsunade has a Diamond skin armor, she does not, so if the susano instead of stabed her, deheaded her, not even the seven gods or rikudu sennin or her healing tecnique will save her from that.

Not to back out chatte but im currently not that fussed about vs threads. However id very like to see what you are going to post. I also forgot to add this next sentence when i uploaded the diffenece between sharingan genjutsu and genjutsu that requires seals. Kabuto is also a medic ninja of the highest quality and tsunade even claimed he was better then her when she was at that age. What im saying is that, kabuto still moved heaven and earth to evade sharingan genjutsu because that type of genjutsu is harder to dispel once you are caught in it and thats why the 2 vs 1 scenario is the best option

tsunade only praised kabuto because in her prime she wasn't able to move so fast thats because their wasn't any rhombus on her forehead, and kabuto doesn't have precise chackra control hence he cant break out of an illusion so easily( i meant his precise chackra control is not better than tsunade lol)

Tbh I say no. Although it's not a sure win for either, itachi's limits have never been seen. He never truly has been pushed where we have seen him bust out every aspect of his skills in a fight. That says something big IMO. Especially since the same can't be said about tsunadae. We have only know he is strong because of feats hype and flashes but just how strong is really a mystery because we don't know his limits.
