You're phrasing conjecture; there is no evidence (apart from the name of the plan) that Madara has Tsukuyomi; it's possible he may exercise it via the Jubi, hence he does not possess it in a similar respect to Itachi.
You are right, he came up with the name for no reason and then Itachi, a century later, knew all about Madara's Moon's Eye Plan and decided to name his unique tech after IT.

You're misunderstanding my argument, sir. What I'm saying is that there is no real evidence to prove that Madara actually has Tsukuyomi; mere allusions/suggestions. Furthermore, I'm saying that Tsukuyomi belongs to the Mangekyo, but in the case of Madara he did not/possibly does not have it.

sasuke scan doesnt really prove anything other than he was ignorant to the MS powers

If he had the element advantage against his rival from the getgo why didnt he use it,it might aswell have given him the edge in their fights.

Yeah it doesnt make sense but seeing that Madara has so much techs at his disposal i he could see how it would get overwhelming, when he appeared with the five kage all he was talking about is testing out rinnegan techniques. i could see how a genjutsu would be useless now due to the sheer amount of opponents he is fighting at once. and probably he cant control time like what itachi could do.
