[Debate] Trumps Wall

I had this debate with a friend of mine and it got pretty heated.
Do you think it's right to build a wall to divide the U.S.A from Mexicans? That means letting the homeless and starving immigrants die. Like, I get the concept that they are illegal immigrants coming in... but do you really think it's right to disregard them completely and let them live in horrible conditions. We should at least help? Do something? Not use a wall to seriously divide us completely as if they're a virus. We are all living begins.. Nearly every wall that's been built has fallen. Every wall that's been built has caused blood shed and conflict.

So just curious, what are your guy's opinion?

The wall is a gimmick a selling point I honestly don't think it will happen. He said multiple times he would make them pay for it which there is no way they would pay for it and since talking about it the price he guesstimates from 4 billion - 12 billion. Lies lies and more lies. Right down to the meat of it it will not work. When people want something bad enough they will find a way to get it and a wall like this isn't going to deter them like he says it will. The US will be seen as a shittier play rather than make us better.

Morally? Obviously not.

But as President it isn't necessarily his/her concern to do stuff like that outside of our country. Building a wall wouldn't stop it anyways, only would make it increasingly difficult.
