I don't agree with his methods at all but one must help themselves before they can help another. In short leave them to their own devices when we can barely support ourselves. The world spins continuously whether someone dies or not doesn't matter to Earth and the same could be said if someone of another country dies. Why should America take the blame for Mexico's problem?

so if they wish to build a wall, so be it. Mexicans build tunnels anyways.
If they wish to deport illegals, so be it. That's the law, you have to respect that especially when you go to another one's country.
It may seem unfair but hey, that's for security purposes and it doesn't seem fair for those who came here legally and dealt with the unjust system they have against foreigners.
If your country is in a really bad shape, apply for refugee status.

OT: I don't understand his mindset at all. When you are a leader of a powerful country with many provisions and you see that the citizens of the neighbouring country are starving, you need to shove the concept 'illegal immigrant' up your ass and rush to their aid.

We're gonna build a big beautiful wall, and we're going to make Mexico pay for it. Whether it's right or wrong, It's ILLEGAL. Let's give them a chance to go back and then we start on the wall. Anyone caught past it without the properly permission and documentations will be treated harshly, very harshly.
They will be examples of what not to do and why. Then we focus on the matter of knocking the hell out of ISIS and taking care of our veterans and wounded warriors who we love very much. Mexico and OTHER countries are laughing at us, they're taking our lunch.
The president's job is to keep it's country secure and happy, after that is covered we MAY focus on the outside problems. Until then the devastation is, so important, so powerful.

So putting up a border to one country is somehow akin being isolationists?
Also the international community is not one to judge since numerous countries are increasing their border protections.
On top of that they can't put sanctions on it since it's not wrong to guard your borders.
