Itachi, Kakashi, Hashi and Madara all grew up in war times. So they were taught and pushed at an earlier age so while they were still top of their groups, the age difference (between them and this generation) isn't mind-blowing. It makes sense.

In his databook stats he's above Jonin at everything but strenght and stamina, in part 1 he was pretty bad but that was because he was out of shape. Did you see him in the war? He easily beated Zabuza, fought the swordsman, then fought bijuu's and Obito and now he's fighting Juubidara. That's pretty damn good

I don't get why people are putting Hashirama on their list. Hashirama was the past reincarnation of Ashura (which was a failure when it came to power) so how is he a prodigy? If he's a prodigy then so is Naruto..
Also, we hardly know anything about Shisui other than he had great genjustu technique (Kotoamatsukami) so how is he considered prodigy?
