Which bubble? I prefer Minato to stay like this rather than see him getting developed only to turn lame like Kabuto. I actually like his no-like personality(or robot personality). It's even one of the reason i like him U_U

The disgusting lack of Kakashi in this thread dissapoints me. HEROES
1. Kakashi ofc.
2. Naruto.
3. Minato.
4. Nagato. (It's arguable but in the end he was good.
5. Itachi.
Honorable Mention: Neji.
VILLAINS
1. Kimimaro.
2. Zabuza. (the most ferocious as well as memorable villain. Don't know if that was just the effect of being the first villain, but he deserves it.)
3. Pain. (Everything about him is so much yes)
4. Madara.
5. Kabuto. (Hate that he's so forgotten nowadays)
Sasuke can get in where he fits in in your opinion. Not sure where to put him.
1. Madara- seen the world for what it is an wanted to change it to where everyone lived in harmony Good, Evil, or just Childish.
2. Yahiko- wanted to cure the world of pain by making those who give pain feel it
3. Jiraiya- Had Tsunade's azz on a platter but choose to find his destiny(this guy is everyboy's leader for that turning down the lady you've always wanted)
4. Sasuke- progression was his life goal he wanted to be great at every thing but people just didn't want to help him(ex Kakashi/Orochimaru)
5. Kushina- was forced to leave home a took it like a ninja has godly stamina( bet she was amazingly forever in the sack oooh God rock me baby, don't know how minato pulled that off since he was the God of Speed or was it yellow flashes in the sheets)
Took me a while before I could finally decide on a top 5, there's actually many well-written characters in the manga IMO. I forget that sometimes since I haven't been completely satisfied with this arc.
Minato/Tobirama would love to know the backstory, Gaara/Kabuto just to damn sad for me their stories truly helped me enjoy them more though, Nagato man that ninja is a (ekoj) to me all he did was quote Yahiko until he met Naruto who made him think with his own mind, Itachi personally I like the guy but the conflict I have with people about him is that killing your family is not cool and just because you can doesn't mean your strong
I like your list and the reasons are fine . There are a lot of well written characters and its really hard for me to narrow it down to just 5 . But for the thread's sake

Who do you think Kishi's 5 best written characters are? Imo, it goes like this.
1. Danzo Shimura - No one can say if he's truly good or truly evil, a true hero or a true villain, because frankly, he's neither. Kishi had Danzo blur the line between good and evil flawlessly. No other character in the series has come close to Danzo's ability to blur the line between good and evil. Was he doing it for the good of Konoha, or for himself?

2. Kabuto Yakushi - Kabuto is a very deep, very troubled character. All his life, he just wanted someone to love him. To care for him. He had his "mother" Nono, who cared for him deeply, taken away after a few years with her. Then he ahd to kill her in self defense. Her final words were "Who are you?" That is pretty heart-breaking. Then came Orochimaru, who twisted his life. Kabuto was now a servant of the devil, but at least he had an identity.
Then Orochimaru was taken from him, and he was lost once again. In his battle with Itachi and Sasuke, for all Kabuto's tremendous power, he was still in great pain. That power did not fill the hole in his heart.

3. Itachi Uchiha - The man is a monster. He slaughtered his whole family just to test his power. He spared his "foolish little brother" because he was so weak. Turns out, it was all a ploy for his brother to gain power, so that eventually Itachi himself could take his eyes and gain the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. What a demon.

4. Tobi - He was an incredible villain. From goofball Akatsuki-wannabe to the leader of Akatsuki and mastermind behind World War IV, that really just speaks for itself.
5. Orochimaru - I simply love him. His character is interesting, he is the base of what I look for in a great villain. Creepy, powerful, sadistic, intelligent, etc. When he was first introduced, he was literally wearing someone else's face.
That's ridiculously villainous. And then. even without his enormous wealth of Jutsu, he remained a pretty significant threat. Without his arms he battled Jiraiya and Tsunade, two other extremely talented Shinobi, toyed with a demon without the majority of his Jutsu, held Sasuke Uchiha in his clutches, the driving force of Naruto, and even after dying twice, he still refuses to stay down.
Also, Orochimaru is the closest thing to the Devil in Naruto, as Oronagato put it. The way he seduces victims with the promise of power, only to turn around and betray or discard them in some way is simply demonic. Kimimaro saw him as a messiah and Orochimaru didn't even bat an eyelid when he died. Plus, the whole serpent thing really ties it up.
Those are all really good "Characters" they all have depth. Oddly enough they seem to be in short supply. I'm a sucker for redemption so Zabuza would make my list easily. Very interesting and refreshing look, as this was about their character and not how powerful they were.
