Itachi should be the number prodigy just because of all that he did noone compares to what itachi did. He graduated the academy at 7, mastered the sharingan at 8, passed the chunnin exams at 10, and was the captain of anbu black ops at 13. And killed his entire clan and got mangekyou sharingan at 14. Not one person has done anything like that

Hiruzen was strong enough to defeat Hashirama and Tobirama and almost beat Orochimaru too.
Sasuke has VERY high stats for a sixteen year old.
Naruto... eh, his powers are related to Kyuubi, reason why he was able to defeat Neji in the CHuunin exams; Also why he beat Pain...

Where are people like gaara at, this dude saw more blood in child hood than sauske will ever in his whole life, shikamaru aka the brain, rocky lee, come on this guy opened up more gates during his exams than most ninja will even in their prime.

From your post I'm guessing you are an Uchiha (clan) fan? I'm not saying Naruto OR Sasuke are better than one another they are basically just about evenly matched at this point in time in the current chapters. I disagree with Sasuke improving faster than Naruto though just because he obtained his curse marks, Sasuke admitted himself that Naruto has gotten ALOT stronger since he obtained rasengan at the time also when they faced against each other on the hospitals roof. I also want to point out wind > lightning... But as of right now you can't even say which one's better. Back when Sasuke fought Killerbee he struggled even with the help of his team mates. In the end it was just a decoy, not the real Killerbee. And Genjutsu won't work on Jinchuriki but maybe if Sasuke somehow learned how to use Iznami(highly unlikely but hey!) since Itachi can use it. I'm not saying I know everything, I'm just making an educated guess.. We can only wait another million years or so until Naruto and Sasuke actually clash with each other to witness it secondhand.
