Tobi's true identity(and trust me i dont think this persons been thought of before)

so as a preface to this thread i am going to say i have no proof of my thoughts on tobi's true identity other than my own assumptions and kishi's new interview stating that his identity is that of an uchiha who was said to have been dead.

ive been thinking about tobi's true identity and after seeing what Kishi had to say about him being an uchiha whose supposed to be dead i knew that my idea could actually be plausible. Everyone talks about tobi being obito, shisui or madara, but i think there is one uchiha who has gone seriously unnoticed throughout this whole discussion--itachi and sasuke's father fugaku. I mean seriously he is the father of 2 of the greatest uchiha in history. the only problem with this theory is that we dont know what his abilities were. but he fits everything we have heard from tobi regarding sasuke, like how he knew sasuke was going to beat itachi, fugaku actually trully cared for sasuke as told by his mother. and the only image we saw of fugaku being killed was itachi's genjutsu. as the leader of the uchiha clan i have no doubts that he was a very powerful shinobi and he was the person who taught itachi. dont flame me for it but let me know wat you guys think

madara's more likely to be itachi than fugaku, at least that would explain the kisame/mizukage/shisui connection

ya but kishi with the teleporting ability fugaku would be capable of travelling in between, farfetched but with the ability possible. only thing is that we dont know wat his abilities were. i just highly doubt that the father of sasuke and itachi would have such a small part to play in the story. although im kinda wrong saying that since we found out from tobi that fugaku is the ringleader of the uchiha coup. so i see him having a bigger role in the story and how good of a twist would that be.

i like the thought that tobi is fugaku, but there are two major points against your theory:
1st there are a lot of people thinking that madara is alive in the narutoverse, like kakashi or danzou and we were told by kisame, itachi and several times by tobi himself that he is madara.
2nd, sasuke or itachi would have noticed it directly if it were that way. when tobi told sasuke that he's madara, he wanted to take off the mask, and if he was fugaku, sasuke would have noticed imediately.

Hmmm....I really doubt it. Sasuke watched his parents get killed, and the next day that he went to see his home there was a chalk out line on the floor, meaning his parents bodies were collected. So Tobi being Fugaku without Sasuke noticing it....seems impossible to me. My mind is already dead set about Tobi being Madara, so there ya go.

yeah good idea but i highly doubt it and i think it would be a bad angle for the story as well i mean its tobi has called himself madara how many times now. To go back and explain that and then explain how he survived.

Also woud have to explain why itachi made ameratsu activate when he sees his father face? Makes no sense if itachi really did care about the village like its been said it would just be weird
