Why would the main antagonist of this arc be a briefly shown fodder Uchiha that has the same relevancy to the story line as a sack of potatoes?

over the days,people had made a lot of prove of tobi's real identity i can't prove any of them wrong but i believe with team work at the base we can all reveal the shocking news.

2.Senju's fight uchiha's in every generation.
3.The uchiha's are always aware of that fight but the senju's are more often not aware.

5.The uchiha(tobi) said,do you know how long i have waited for this day..."the day of the fight."
6.Tobi's original plan was not to destroy konoha with the kyuubi.
7.Why didnt tobi steal the ninetail away for the moon's eye jutsu at that time?...unless he was not aware of that project.
8.That is just enough to guide us about who tobi is.
Now let us all agree that tobi is an uchiha in minato's generation,so let's search.
N.B:how tobi had madara's idea remains a mystery.

No. Naruto is a Senju, because the Uzumaki (aka his mother) were relatives to the Senju... minato has nothing to do whith it... U_U

This is a guess but is it possible for tobi to be madara's younger brother it would make sense.I dont think they said he died and it would make sense for him to hold a gruge against the 1st and the leaf cause he gave up his eyes for no reason.I madara did died at the valley of end cause he was brought back by kabuto.When he died he gave tobi some of his powers that he has been using this own time and the fact that he was able to get some of the 1st hokage cells means he was apart of the battle.What if it was the 1st and 2nd hokage vs madara and his younger brother(tobi) plus 9tail.It would make sense cause tobi has been collecting sharingan he could of plant two into his own head to cure the blindness.

you probably need to see the new anime chapters (chapter 248 and 249) where minato damaged tobi and his arm (tobi's arm) looked just like one of zetsu. just saying

Ive said it before ill say it again, why the mask unless if tooken off we would be like OMG it >>>> you get the picture. It's possible that it's Izuna or Zetsu for sure but all i know is if the mask came off we shouldn't need dialogue on who it is, we should just know. That's the point of the mask. It's weird to me though, the whole Izuna cuts his hair thing but if it's zetsu it makes sense. Guess will just have to wait and see but unless Kishi shows us the son of the sage then no he is not.
