I created this thread cause minato defeated him, and I want to see if u guys think itachi can

It does he forced tobi to retreat so he won, and u didn't answer who u think will win

It does count as a win because if Tobi had stayed all that would have happened is he would have been killed. He knew it and so he left.
On thread, probably Itachi. As long as it isn't the 7 year old Itachi during the same time period.

tobi won because he is still alive and minato not so much he may have stopped the nine tails attack but beat tobi ...no he didnt sorry and as for your vs match tobi was affraid of itachi so i will say itachi

if itachi has to deal with kurama then tobi. I dont see how itachi could deal with kurama and tobi in his condition

Well Minato is actually the perfect opponent for people using summons or controlling others. ( He is also the perfect opponent for non-perfect jinchurikki for the same reason that I am about to tell you)
Minato's sealing jutsus give him a huge advantage over anyone using summons because all he has to do is break the contract with his sealing jutsu. He did it to the 9-tails and Tobi while marking him with an FTG tag at the same time.
The reason why he is the perfect opponent for jinchurikki who aren't partners with their bijuu is that he can undo the seal, or alter it, to make the tailed beast gain control and go on a rampage. Or he can just use a sealing jutsu to mess up their ability to access their chakra.
Orochimaru did it to Naruto in Part 1 and Minato is infinitely better at sealing than Oro.

Well it is all about match ups. I explained in the spoiler why Minato was the perfect opponent in that fight.
Itachi might be able to win but he would have a hard time with the 9-tails. His only hope would be to use the Totsuka sword on the 9-tails, and then fight Tobi.

Tobi had his intentions for coming to konoha and he completed it. There was no reason to stick around. If tobi had actually decided to fight and go all out, he wouldve stuck around and possibly use izanagi.
Anyway who do i think would win against pre ms rennigan tobi and sick itachi?.
Firstly both had great respect for each other. Tobi decided to honour his agreement with itachi. What people fail to get is that, if tobi deemed itachi as a pushover he wouldve dishonoured the agreement after all, what can itachi do to him.
Similarly itachi somewhat agreed that with his current state, he couldnt possible defeat tobi, therefore left it to sasuke. Firstly by implanting amaterasu, but also by letting him awaken the ms and eventually taking his eyes to stop the blindness process but also to acquire a new power.
Back to the fight. How tobi's technique works isnt hard to figure out. Team kakashi figured it out during their chase for sasuke. Fu and torune figured it out. Itachi ive no doubt would figure it out. The difference between team kakashi, fu and torune and minato is that unlike minato they didnt have the speed to make their strategy work and that was their downfall. Itachi might be fast, but unless he can come up with a great strategy with requires the use of limited speed on his part he cannot defeat tobi. Similarly tobi cannot defeat him

Minato dies because of the fight with the nine-tails and the demon seal, he DID win in the fight with tobi... basically you're saying if I got in a fight with someone in the middle of the treat and that person ran away, then I got hit by a car... so he wins? your logic is flawed
