i have a crazy theroy of who tobi really is and i think that he really is madara but it involves zetsu, tobirama, an hashirama. now i think that zetsu was created from some kinda of side effect form hashiramas plant jutsus and tobiramas impure ressurection jutsu. i think that the brothers tried to create a soul combining both if their dna and not having to sacrfice a living person and the result was zetsu. i also think that maybe they viewd him as a mistake and got rid of him or maybe he escaped somehow and somewhere down the road he encountered madara and the two developed a bond. over time im sure madara knew he couldnt live forever so he delvleoped a plan to carry on his legacy through zetsu by combinng their dna hence tobi being created. given what we kno about zestus abilities and tobi i think that this could be very possible. it would make sense as to how zetsu has senju dna ( using wood release) and how tobi can use space time techniques (tobiramas abilities) i know this is seems kinda off the wall and may have some inconsistencies but just give it a thought. im always open to to other people theroies as well let me know what yall think

I Came up with this idea i been thinking of, i dont know if its plausible or not, would appreciate an answer. To activate the Ems one must take the eyes from another Uchiha preferable a sibling right? And in Madara's case it's said that he took His brother's eyes ( Izuna Uchiha). Tobi however said that he was given them willingly. Well my thought is, wouldnt it be possible for Madara and Izuna too just have traded their eyes, Madara giving his to Izuna, and Izuna giving his to madara? Wouldnt that result in both gaining the Ems?
Added this here because i believe that Tobi is Izuna and this would perhaps clearify why Tobi said that Izuna gave the eyes willingly or something like that.

My theory is that Tobi is 2nd hokage tobirama senju...U read that ryt ..but hold your horses and ill explain it pointwise...
They both have space-time techniques.
Tobi cannot be uchiha because he cannot deactivate his sharingan just like kakashi cant.But since he used izanagi he has to be a senju.
Oly 2 viable senju we know and hashirama and tobirama. Since we dont know wat hpnd to tobirama after the attack on his group from cloud ninja he ia a better choice.Because he was hokage he might have defeated the cloud ninjas.[Motive- he might be pissed how his group just forgot about him afterwards and dint even search for him.].
Since he was alive during madara uchiha's time he would easily know all about his past.
He could easily have gotten a sharingan during the many fights between senju and uchiha clans.
Since he has little blood similar to hashirama thats why he could control the 6 bijuu simultaneously.
Last but not least and the most obvious is their names.
Dont get me wrong it might be hashirama too since we dont know wat hpnd to him after his fight with madara but i personally think he was too good to become a villian and also sime tobirama is very mysterious and we know oly very little about him.

I hear what you're saying and it makes logical sense, but I cannot come to grips with the idea that Tobi would allow a supposed brother to be Edo'd by Kabuto. He could have taken possession of the coffin and any genetic material in Kabuto's possession rather than allow him to be an Edo slave. That does not say to me, I love my brother and want his legacy to continue. It says to me Tobi finds potential in an Edo Madara, but doesn't want to be around him for fear of being unmasked.

For all the people who lash out saying that they have discovered who Tobi is and are just waiting for the other people to catch up to their intelligence I only ask to show what proof you have that you have discovered who Tobi really is. Show us the proof where Kishi tells us who Tobi is so we can catch up to you.
Also for those that think he is related to Madara or in someway connected to him we should think about the conversation between Madara and Kabuto (through Muu) when Kabuto first resurrected Madara. Madara asked Kabuto if he knew what the plan was, Kabuto said he did but he also added he did not know if the fake Madara (Tobi) will act as planned.

Well first of all, I must admit the title is just to bait people into reading this. What it should really say is that Tobi is NOT using Madara's old body
I wanted to make this thread because a few weeks ago, I made a theory about how I thought Tobi wanted to use Rinne Tensei to put Madara's soul into his body. Here's the link to that theory:
I thought that Tobi would be putting Madara into his body because he wanted to become one with Madara's soul or because he wanted to put Madara's soul back into Madara's old body, but looking back, I realized that the theory I made isn't true. Tobi is NOT using Madara's old body and he did NOT want to put Madara's soul into his own body
Looking back at the first time we met Madara, I realized something:
Madara Uchiha emerged from a coffin, and he didn't say a thing about it. This leads me to believe that Madara expected to be in a coffin, and so Madara's old body IS in a coffin. Tobi is NOT currently using it

Madara's body was probably being preserved somewhere for Tobi to revive it with Rinne Tensei, and Tobi must be a completely different person if Madara's soul was in the afterlife and his body is in a coffin
This might also explain how Kabuto got Madara's DNA. If Madara is in a coffin somewhere, Orochimaru being the sneaky bastard that he is, probably found its location

I just thought of something. So nagato was suppose to bring madara back to life because when he came out he said i guess that brat nagato managed to grow. that means he was expecting to be revived by nagato if things went according to plan.
