Shisui is dead one eye taken and crushed by Danzo the other used its powers on Itachi.
There is no information on how he died because "he faded away" to keep his powers
out of the wrong hands after entrusting Itachi with his last eye.When you want to
make sure your not found there is not going to be any new info on how he did it
because that was the point o.o

+rep. Makes sense since tobi's sharingan is always active, meaning that it could be a transplanted one into himself. Only thing that could hinder this theory is that I'm not sure if the age matches up and the whole rinnegan thing. Maybe madara was either going to give his eyes to sishui first but them gave them to Nagato instead

I've been looking into Shisui's bio lately, trying to figure out his relationship with Itachi, and this sudden thought crossed my mind.

What if Shisui is actually still alive?

For one, he's able to freely manipulate people's minds without them and he's a powerful genjutsu user, as stated by Itachi. So if you think about it, he could have easily faked and made other people, including Itachi, believe that he died.

Second, Kabuto was unable to locate his body to revive him from the dead; perhaps he couldn't bring him back because he was never dead to begin with? I don't think Shisui could have destroyed his corpse, leaving no traces behind, and, not to mention, Kishimoto never went into much detail telling about how he did it. (Itachi isn't much of a reliable source either; perhaps he's helping hide Shisui's existence, or maybe Shisui manipulated him with the Kotoamatsuki.)

And this is going on a stretch, but maybe Shisui is masquerading as Tobi? It isn't 100% confirmed that Tobi is Madara. Also, it is hinted that the real Madara is dead, seeing that he got revived by the Edo Tensei. (And Shisui wasn't.) Not to mention, if you look at Tobi and Shisui's hairstyle, it's rather similar. Besides, we haven't seen Tobi's actual face yet. The mask can hide so much~

I think (and hope) that Kishimoto's leading to the story of Shisui somewhere. It would be so interesting if Itachi tracked down Tobi (who's working with Kabuto, the user of the Edo Tensei) and find out that he's actually Shisui.

the uchiha police found his body in that river (cannot remember the name) =/ since he was an uchiha member they must have burnted his body or what not so that the clan secrets wouldn't be stolen.

if you are wondering why they didn't notice shisui's missing eyes, maybe kishi f-ed up or he added that shisui lost both his eyes as the story went on, or the uchiha police figured that itachi wanted his eyes to create ems =/

sorry but not plausible danzo took one of his eyes and he was almost dead when itachi found him.... and than he gave itachi his other eye.... not like you just survive from getting your one eye taken out(note he prob didnt just give danzo his eye ie they fought a lil) and than take out his own eye and give it to itachi....

That's why I'm doubting the last part; however, Itachi pretended to be "evil" to save Sasuke's life. Shisui could have done the same - he might have some reason to continue living or "playing the bad guy."

And we all know Kishimoto: he builds up a character to a certain degree and then twists it around in the end. (i.e. Itachi Uchiha [[seems bad but is actually good]]~)

I won't give you - rep because you're new. No more who is Tobi threads please. Shisui's KM takes 10 years between uses. It hasn't been 10 years since he died and both eyes were usable by Danzo and eventually Naruto, so the idea that Shisui used KM on Itachi is impossible.

The part about Shisui being Tobi sounds plausible to me....

But a reanimated Shisui wouldnt have his eyes so therefore he would be useless

Edo reanimates the person to how they were when they died....Shisui didnt have any eyes when he died

The Tobi being Shisui interests me though....

Oh and Shisui would have been about 8 years old when Tobi fought Minato during the nine-tails attack.

Like I said, he could have easily faked it with genjutsu or manipulation. And if he did lose his eyes, he could have transplanted anyone elses eyes, including one Sharingan and/or Rinnegan.

i was thinking the same thing. i agree with u 100%because he gave both his eyes away and tobi dont have his original eyes you can tell because he be stealing other people eyes

I appreciate that, I guess, and I apologize if this thread sounds like "Who Is Tobi?" It really is supposed to be "Who Is Shisui" but Tobi got caught up into the conversation when I was attempting to clarify my theory.

Perhaps what he'd doing, suggested that he is alive, is significant, even if it looks wrong.
