Review of 500: Tobi was one of the 4 ANBU
Chapter 500 has some vital information for review, when you keep in mind the question: How did Tobi know that Kushina was giving birth?
On Page 10, we are told that only Biwako, Taji, and Minato will be inside with Kushina. Koharu and Homura said that the event must be top secret. Presumably, this can mean they didn't tell anyone else. We know those two, Biwako, Taji, and Minato aren't Tobi. We're also told that there will be the Third's personal ANBU stationed outside.
On Page 11, Kushina, after being scolded by Koharu, presumably didn't tell anyone of her mission. Koharu also advised her to not scream her head off, presumably because she did not even want to tip off the ANBU outside.
On Page 12, Kushina can clearly be heard giving birth from outside the fortification. There are 4 ANBU right outside the cave and one a little ways off.
On Page 14, three ANBU right outside the entrance can be seen dead at Tobi's feet.
Where was the corpse of the fourth ANBU?
I think he donned a cloak and a different mask so that he would not be recognized when he came up against Minato, Kushina, etc. and then barged on in with his sharingan. He heard the screams, surmised what was happening, and put his plan into action.

Well how did tobi know where naruto was staying or where to find taka or minato when he tried to get away. Remember zetsu said he is the land, well tobi has zetsu dna in him(1st hokage dna) and im guessing that has something to do with tobi being able to find people.

Makes alot of sense, so it may very well be possible, but i remember (did forget what ep/chapter it was) that Minato's Personal ANBU wasn't a uchiha, but just some random Anbu sorta speak...? i mean i think, i could very well be worng but thought id throw that out...

i think that tobi is obito. this is why, he was found by madra or either zetsu. madra then healed his crushed side by infusing zetsu in the crushed side. he then educated him about the uchias past. madra was old at this time. he knew about the uzamaki and he develop a plan to put the rinnegan in a uzamaki (nagato). but before he did he and itachi assassnated the uchia clan. he fought the forth but died sometime after and tobi took his place with zetsu and thats how madra knows of nagato. his face isn't old it is deformed because of infusing zets.

well there is another possiblity.. there was once a time when Itachi spoke of there being4 Uchihas still possibly alive after he killed off his clan. Madara, himself, and Sasuke. though even he didnt know the name of the 4th.. also i thought it was Obito once as well BUT in the eps/Manga showing him it was said he died in the cave in that he's buried in the Grave and name in on the statue thing

A half plausible theory. But there is no way that this was a last second act on Tobi's part. He was too excited about implementing his plan and was far to adamant about having to wait so long for this particular moment. There is no doubt in my mind that he carefully scoped out the situation and knew exactly when Kushina was likely to have her baby. Obviously, he had her tracked, likely by Zetsu, to make sure he knew where she was when she gave birth. In hindsight, it was actually the ideal location for Kushina to give birth for his plan. Since it was so isolated, he only had to kill 5 or so anbu and he was poised to make things happen how he wanted.

Unless one or two of the ANBU was Zetsu..? which would also make sense pretty well..

Well they was attacked by Madara then the Kyuubi, they even said some bodies did go missing so whos th=o say that either Zetsu/Tobi was one among the missing..?
