I reread some chapter and forum post and even fun page. But before I start, this will be long but I will sure I will get your attention just ignore my bad English. sowi

WARNING: this is not a prediction and not reposting a old forum. i came up on my own conclusion because of all the evidence i had gather. all i will explain will be base in naruto manga chapter... this is 100% spoiler read at your on risk...



First of all i can tell that tobi is not madara.


i have come to believe that uchiha madara is not really uchiha madara. the reasons i believe this are as follows,

#1 in flash backs, kishi has no problem showing us the face of uchiha madara.

only now, he makes it a point to continue to hide his face, even when his mask is off.

either madara is not who he says he is, he is severly deformed or he is madara and just using another body. yes, kisame knows him as madara by his face, but he also knows him as mizukage, there is no telling how long this man has been perading around as madara. At first place does kisame know the really face of madara?


#2 ever since his introduction, he has refereed to himself in the 3rd person as if he is not really madara but wants to be.

#3 i believe this is when kabuto and madara met up, kabuto, as we all know summoned a body to which madara became very surprised. i dont think it was the 1st, nor do i think that it was the SO6P. kabuto tells madara that he will not tell anyone,



now what else could kabuto have on madara that he didnt want anyone to know? besides that he is not really uchiha madara.

kabuto, then called the man, uchiha madara, to which madara, responds, cheeky brat, in binktopias translations, he calls him a wise guy.

im 100% sure zetsu merge other half of tobi. Because he can able cast izigani, a power require both utchiha and serunju. And when tobi is damage a white clay flowing on his arm. And only zetsu has a access seeing him unmask and still calling him tobi.

First He has sharinggan and he know there secret as well. So I can tell he is from uchiha and konoha.


Second there are only plenty candidate to chose who might be tobi. Because in manga and anime they only introduce small number of sharinggan user
1. obito – he already die on boulder and it is impossible to live on that young age. Just incase he is still live he was too young too be tobi in kyuubi incident. and he was damn weak to begin with..
2. madara – I already state above why he is not tobi.
3. shisui – at the laboratory of madara there one eye has no pair that has to be believe that shusui eye. And it was state he was killed by itachi before the uchiha clan massacre.

4. and lastly this is tobi identity it is one of the elders.

uchiha kagami

If you think about it ,Kagami Uchiha makes more sense being Tobi than Madara does. Kagami Uchiha was taught by the second (the same guy the 4th based his space time techs on)so that would explain tobis abilities, he was also on the same team as the 4 elders(the third, danzo and the other two current elders), they were the only ones who knew about the massacre so it's possible that their team mate(Kagami) had a hand in it as well. and it would explain why he still hides his face even to he himself(tobi) says that he's madara and everyone else seems to think so as well so what does he gain by hiding himself if he really is Madara? and what could possibly make "MADARA" of all people stop in his tracks and SUBMIT to kabuto by letting him on the team??? nothing... if he really is madara he shouldn't give a damn whose in that last coffin. but since he was obviously worried about the contents and let kabuto on the team because he doesn't want anyone else to see those content, it would only make sense that it's madara in there(the coffin). thats why we weren't shown who it was. that is the only explanation to the scenario... tobi not being madara and kabuto exposing that is the ONLY THING that could **** his plan up. it is sooo obvious that he's just using madaras name and prowess. Him being kagami would also explain why Kishi decided to put that flashback for danzo in there. The flashback is the only place you see kagami and it showed that he survived with the rest of his team mates thanks to his sensei, the 2nd hokage. It also shows his connection to those who were responsible for the uchiha massacre. and if he already knew about the MS and EMS he would be all about having a hand in the massacre of his own clan. im not saying that this is fact but how can anyone say that it doesn't make sense? with all those dumb theories out there like tobi being Obito or him being madara in another body or even being madara in a old ass 100 year(just a rough estimate) old body. if yall can believe all that nonsense then why the hell is it so hard too believe that it could be Kagami???

-Why does he introduce himself as Uchiha madara? Because he wanted his power. Or fear him as Uchiha Madara.

This is one of the greatest clue… why the hell he know the father of turune (shikuro aburame)… in some how they have connections. Tobi might age mate as his father or danzo. And he might live also on konoha those day. Maybe just on 2nd era only… because on 3rd era he was on the mist country controlling 4th mizukage.

I totally agree, its likely that Izuna took Madara's eyes and the 1st hokage's dna to make himself stronger...the way tobi speaks so highly of Madara says to me that tobi is either a close relative of Madara or a apprentice. What would drive Tobi to attack the hidden leaf?? Answer: The same thing that drives Sasuke to attack the village....They both hate the village for turning on each of their brothers.

Here is a flaw:

Izuna gave his eyes(or stolen) to Madara. How did he manage to get another pair of eyes if he was blind?

While I think it could be Izuna if it turns out Tobi isn't a Zetsu clone or a new character that was Madara's apprentice, I find one problem with this idea. According to Tobi, Madara's motivation for wanting to continue fighting the Senju despite the rest of his clan wanting peace was because his brother sacrificed his eyes and his life in order for Madara to continue fighting. Making peace with the Senju would have made his brother's death for nothing.
However, there's also the story of Madara fighting the 1st hokage strictly for his senju dna samples. I'm not sure if this is true, but wanting to avenge his brother makes more sense to me. I feel Tobi is just a fanatic of the sage of the 6 paths story and wants to mimic him to become the most powerful living shinobi.

Hmmm......lets look.
It seems to more to be Izuna. After madara lost the battle to hashirama senju. madara may have died or have prior to death, he gave them to izuna to continue fightning, or izuna may have taken it back after madara's death. And, extracting someone's eyes didn't kill him, and maybe izuna was alive after his eyes were taken. thats make much more sense.

Uchiha kagami can also the tobi, but thats not explain the consequences.

According to narutopedia, Izuna survived after having his eyes removed, and continued to fight in battles despite being blind but was eventually killed because of the obvious handicap. Regardless of narutopedia's accuracy, the flashback of him being in a casket is proof enough for me he did die. Faking his death is pointless in my opinion.

In all honesty you've started a good, solid thread and very very believable. However, there are bits that still need to be covered, some even as simple as Kagami's motive. I presume that Kishi will reveal Tobi's identity soon and I have my my doubts (story-wise) that he will be a random background character that only those who frequent naruto forums would know of...

That's exactly why i have my doubts on Tobi being Kagami uchiha....nonetheless, well thought out theory.

i think that tobi is someone who incoperated madara and hashiramas cells and sharingan in his own body to make him more powerful but the madara side took over his mind and made him think that he was madara himself something like kabuto took in orichimaru but kabuto is in control but also i would say that through tobi having the dead madaras eyes he could see everything that happened and saw when tobi gave nagato the rinnegan but tobi removed madaras eyes once he realized this and madara never got to see nagato grow up. what do u think about this

(this is the post I moved. Sorry for the mix up. Still looking forward to reading your response now that mine has some context.)

I'm not convinced Tobi=Kagami yet, but this is still an awesome theory you put together there.

This is why I'm not convinced Tobi=Kagami (its from an older post):

1. I dont think the other elders knew about Naruto's birth.
I think the only people who knew about the birth were:
- Hiruzen
- Biwaku
- Taji
- Minato
- And, Mikoto had the opportunity to figure it out.

I dont think Kagami knew unless he was told by Mikoto.

2. Kagami does not have a motive for massacring the clan.

3. Kagami and Danzo were not the only ones who were missing during the Kyuubi incident. The whole freakin Uchiha clan was missing. Which indicates that all of them were in cahoots with Tobi.

4. As an elder of Konoha, Kagami must not have had the free time required to be the "fake" Mizukage as well.

5. Kagami must have been an influential elder within the uchiha clan as well. So, Itachi must have known Kagami quite well. It seems unlikely that Itachi would not recognize someone he already knew well after spending so much time together.

6. If Kagami was in fact an influential elder, then his missing corps would have been something the leaf would notice after the massacre. Especially since it was really a mass assassination.

7. Tobi and Kagami do not have the same eyes and eyebrows.

We know very little about Kagami. We dont even know if he was alive right before the Uchiha Massacre. So, its difficult to find facts that connect Kagami to Tobi and it is just as difficult to find facts that imply that Tobi and Kagami are not connected. In fact, Kagami's presence in the manga is so rare that his lack of presence seems to be the only pillar of this theory.

I've been thinking about the relationships and connections between Tobi and Danzou and also between Kagami and Danzou and came up with this opinion. Firstly, here's a couple of things we know about the situation:

- Danzou and Tobi might have been partners on occasions.

OK. If there is anyone who would be to able recognize Kagami behind a mask, it would have to be Danzou and Torifu. Why?... because those three were teammates up until at least adulthood. So Danzou and Kagami had half a lifetime to get to know each other and their fighting styles. If Danzo and Tobi really were co-conspirators on at least one occasion then I'm wondering why Danzou was not able to recognize his former teammate if Tobi were to be Kagami. Even if Tobi and Danzou weren't co-conspirators, Danzou still saw Tobi move and fight right before he called Tobi
