I think Tobi is the original zetsu nd the zetsu we all know is just a clone to hold hashi DNA because of how powerful his DNA is.

I still think Tobi might be Shisui for the simple reason that Kishi keeps on bringing up his name, almost as if it were a hint. None of the other candidates have been mentioned in the story anywhere near this much.

All those who still doubt my theory, please notice how more believable its beginning to become as the chapters proceed, Orochimaru's the next big piece to the puzzle. He helped create Tobi with the cell's of Hashirama mark my words....

When Danzo talked to Itachi in a recent chapter, he had short hair and when Tobi met up with Itachi a few hours later, he had long hair. Theory disproved.

Besides, Tobi has always been one person. His Space - Time Ninjutsu is what makes him special, no one else has it. Plus, what's the point of there being more than one Tobi and only one of them being unmasked? face it, man. there's only one tobi.

His body is made out of parts i mean he just remplaces his parts with zetsu parts ... the rinnegan is from nagato maybe that eye could be from obito because it has a smiliar jutsu to kakashi ... that body is a body made from parts .... but the soul the consciousness is IZUNA UCHIHA

Ah, I hadn't even thought about Fugaku Uchiha. No Mangekyo Sharingan, perfect motive to destroy the Konoha.

That said, when he first controlled Kurama (during Kushina's flashback) Kurama made a hint that he had known the person before. This makes me thing that Fugaku is ineligible to be Tobi. My guess is that Tobi is closely related to Madara or the Sage's Elder son (who got the eyes of his father so Kyuubi would recognize).

i wonder if orchimaru comes into play with tobi/izuna theory. Recent manga, to me strongly suggested tobi has something to do with orchimaru. There could be reason why tobi has so much knowledge about medical ninjutsu, sharingan transplant and experimentation. Maybe orchimaru gave him that knowledge. C'mon if tobi is izuna and izuna is like madara how is he able to be a medical prodigy. Someone must given that knowledge. If tobi is izuna i think he wouldn't be able to modify his own body unless someone gave that knowledge to him. I think could be orchimaru.
