Because it wouldn't make sense. "I died shortly after awakening rinnegans" In other words Madara died a little after Nagato got the rinnegans, which means during 2nd great ninja war. At that time Obito wasn't even born.

Lol and I can keep telling people that statement is inconclusive, "I awakened these eyes shortly before my death" was suppose to be "I awakened these eyes at the valley of the end" for Kabuto. He didn't know Kabuto knew he lived afterwards...

So yes, it could mean "shortly before his actual death", but it could just as easily mean shortly before his pretended death! My point is, it's inconclusive..

Example: I supposedly died in year 5, but I actually lived until year 86, then I died for "for real", only to be resurrected later. Sometime after year 5, I lose an eye.

Suspicions come about, I don't want anyone to know I lived past year 5, I say "I lost this eye shortly before my death".

Take that same example, and let's say I lost my eye shortly before I "supposedly" died, this time losing it some time in year 5. I tell the person, "I awakened these eyes shortly before I died." Which is true in a sense, they suppose to have believed I died that day!

The point is, how do we know which Madara is referring to?! It's OUR assumption. That statement could mean either or in both situations -__-

Lol I did not, it's OBVIOUS that he thought everyone (along with Kabuto) thought he died that day. I awakened these eyes shortly before my "death" could EASILY mean either or. It's simple.

Why does everyone want Obito to be Izuna? Madara himself has said he killed his own brother for EMS. In the lores it even states this, which is why so many people fear Madara because he went to such a low to even murder his brother. Izuna is seen in a casket with his eyes ripped out.

To me it just seems impossible to be Izuna, from all the facts we have the time "Tobi" showed his face to kasime that could have possibly been Zetsu. While obito was trained under Madara to carry on his will. Same motives, same desires. Don't say Madara is too old, look at him when he is edo'ed. He looks like he was 28-30ish.

Both brothers (Izuna, Madara) could not have the same motives as each other, if anything I'd be pissed that my brother tried to kill me!

ONTOP OF IT, why would Izuna hold back from using EMS, or his MS. We can assume he is just as every bit as strong as Madara since it stated that in the wiki. Why wouldn't he summon Sasono. Obito didn't want Kakashi knowing it was him because it would be evident.

Theory: Obito is one of Madara's six paths of Pain

Ok it is just a theory but think of it Perhaps Madara could be controlling Obito with a Rinnegan or Sharingan. Its just a theory but it is easy to say that Obito and Madara have the same Rinnegan because Madara gave Nagato the Rinnegan and Obito took Nagato's Rinnegan. So could Obito be controlled by Rinnegan via Six Paths of Pain or other wise. And if he is one of the Six Paths could there be another 5?

EDIT: MAYBE MADARA PUT A JUTSU OVER OBITO THAT WOULD TAKE OVER HIS BODY VIA RINNEGAN.

I'm pretty sure you can't control paths when you are dead :sy:

This could explain why Tobi isn't using all of the abilities of the rinnegan

Maybe before Madara died he put some Jutsu over obito where he would take over his body.

Should be a group 5: Just stay open minded and wait for kishi to explain what the heck he was thinking.

this is a way to see it, or that madara never gave away his " own " eyes to nagato.

there is still no proof, no real hint, no real picture. Tobi as Madara could meant by giving nagatos this eyes. that madara gave him the ability to activate it himself. The best example here would be to think Madara as Nagatos father~

maybe obito refered to madaras power, because it was madaras plan the whole time and he was part of it. To obtain the power of madara and let the world sleep.
so if Tobi Obito madara lived far longer ~

But there is just no enough evidence to say, that real madara gave away his eyes to nagato and died afterwards. There is no proof, only Tobis words, but tobi is a liar so we can not believe him~ And if Tobi is Obito and knew about that, then Madara must have lived at the Time of Obito~ And this is a fact, anything else would not make sense cuz kishi said himself they know each other.

if anyone tells me know about this Soul in Obitos Body again, to explain this, i will just answer him now...
Just NOOOO!
Yes just No, after this flashback of Obito at 599(title Obito uchiha -.-)...its just No. If people denie this flashback as a proof then, well i won't care anymore about this people...if nobody can refere to this flashback and tell me it was someone else before, then why it was shown this before we saw Obitos face. To fool his audience? NOOO Flashbacks were evertime, evertime, evertime an important hint to got to know about a mystery.

Chapter 600 will be a the start of an Flashback as well as 400 and 500 was.
And this happened evertime before there was something big that happend before.
It is Obito...no one else, if u do not believe the concept that Kishi just did already 200 Chapters of Shipudden before then its just worth nothing to read this manga.
im did not say guys who think obito still could be someone else are fools i just think you do not get Kishis concept and that this is a shounen battle manga and not a mystery novel/manga ~
