Tobi is not Obito Proof! No BS!
OK i'll probebly get flamed for this but Just some thoughts that needed to go down..... and maybe turn into a mature discussion(Hopefully). Here i go:
What is interesting in this war is how Kishi uses an old tactic and quoted from "The art of war"....."Emotion is Weakness." For those who may not understand, a better way to give you a clear picture, is when Kabuto resurrects some shinobi and purposely leaves their conscience as it is.
eg: Edo Asuma vs Ino-shika-cho - Choji holds back because he doesn't want to hurt his former sensei.
Now Zetsu is playing a huge part in this war, and i'll explain later. But to clearify things...... remember, this is a war and every bit of knowledge, tactic, method, whatever you want to call it, is essential in winning and "Tobi" knows this and so does Kabuto, as seen already.
Zetsu is one enigmatic character with hardly any information or back story. Maybe kishi purposely makes it that way, but what is known so far and whats important, is his ability to "shape-shift" into anyone and mimicking their chakra. Zetsu has many other abilities, but this particular ability is the most important to "Tobi". We have all seen that Tobi's body is made of the stuff from Zetsu as seen in his fight with Minato and Danzo's bodyguards.
Now whats interesting is that chapter 599 as we all know, "Tobi" is Obito. Now how do we know for sure, that Tobi is not playing a tactic or pulling his sneaking card because in this fight, the real threat to Tobi is actually kakashi. Without kakashi, naruto would have never been able to land a hit or even a scratch. "Take out the threat, win the Battle." There are other theories that state Zetsu stole Obito's body.... im not saying this is true but it would be the only logical explanation to how Obito has come to be the masked man Tobi. There is also a chapter where Tobi reveals himself to Kisame and kisame calls him madara.... which leads me to believe that zetsu played a part in this and "shape-shifted" to look like madara.
Now this is only a theory, and i wanted to put it out there before kishi explains everything and fill in the plot-holes(if he does). like i said before, hope this can become a mature discussion. Happy reading and hope chapter 599 has not put you off a great manga.
