The sage of 6 paths is a good guy that saved the world he even choose he peaceful son as his sucessor so I highly doubt that it is him but he could have gone mad seeing what people are doing with the ninjitsu he brought in the world.

yeah but dont forget, Nagato was exactly the same way. he wanted peace, to protect those he loved the most... but life took over and war and death and despair and hate got to him. I'll bet that if the Sage WAS alive--which would make him like 200 years old--and had seen nothing but war all those years, even he could decide that forcefully making peace this way (the infinite tsukiyomi) was the best option.

I know how stupid it sounds and to me it sounds stupid.But somebody in a thread made a good point. How would Tobi know so much about weak the tailed beast if he wasn't S06P.They say he can read from the So6P's tablet but they say you can read a lot with MS,then even more with EMS,and all of it with Rinnegan.Tobi doesn't have MS but 3T so how would he know all of this.

Another point is we've NEVER seened S06P's face.All we have seen is him in darkness with his Rinnegan shining.S06P may be possed some how.Who knows, maybe the 10 Tails spirit took over S06P's body after he died and the Rinnegan had left or somebody had took his eyes when he died(One of the brothers), so the 10 Tails needed a Rinnegan so he could revive himself and thats how he somehow met Madara.All I'm saying is Tobi could be the 10 Tails inside of S06P's body and he's trying to revive himself.

I would believe everything at this point. One little correction that most ppl do not realise Tobi has MS we just haven't seen him activate it. Acording to the same uchiha tablet you mentioned, only with MS you can control the Kyuubi, and we have seen Tobi doing that when he attacked Konoha. The real question is does he have EMS.

Obviously Tobi doesn't care about his true name and face. His goal is to require the 10 tail beast power, to complete the moon eye plan and nothing else.

Well, the ten tails' body was supposedly in the Moon (because that big shinny sphere was said to be its prison). The logic seems sound, but it just doesn't seem too.... right.

Then again, claiming to be Madara was slightly belivable, and the Kages bought it. If he claimed to be the Sage of the Six Paths, they would have shrugged him off.

I'm still leaning twoards the theory that Tobi was a pawn created by Madara before death to keep things in motion untill he was resurrected. Then he took things in his own hands when Nagato had a chnge of heart.

Because of the most recent manga, we now have more evidence to say that it's the Sage of Six Paths.

I'm still leaning toward Izuna.
