No, it's highly logical. Naruto also earned to use Kurama's abilities and every other Bijuu because his progress allowed him to. He earned Kurama's respect and was able to mend his chakra. You don't understand that Senju/Uzumaki and Uchiha can both control Bijuu but through different means. The logical standpoint without digression is the same. They're both using Bijuu's powers because they can, regardless of how they obtained it. It's really a moot point trying to make Sasuke superior.
