What relevance does hiruzen have to the current story? , Does he have senju or uchiha dna? can he supress the juubi? , does he have anything to do with madara?
no on all counts.. the same reason white fang isn't being mentioned, is the same reason he isn't

But it is stated. Never has something been stated like that that wasn't fact. And the comment was veered towards Hiruzen in his prime. It was a way to show why such an old man was such a respected Hokage and able to take up the mantel after the fall of thew Fourth. It never states in the manga he is the strongest, but he was considered a god in his youth, get over it people.

I don't see that imbalance of power hype, hiruzen hype that stems from p1 is still on another level than hashi's ...Supposed strongest kage, only man to receive the same title of the so6p (god of shinobi) and a 2nd moniker- the professor, supposed strongest hokage

Hashirama is being hyped now because his abilities , his persona etc is relevant to the final arc due to Madara being ressurected...
It's indubitable that when it comes to HYPE hiruzen wins...that's the main reason all the threads appear for... Its a whole battle of hype vs feats... Through madara some of hashirama's abilities were displayed..flower world, wood dragon etc... Most people when arguing would rank feats over hype, though that's not something I would agree with..

Iruka hyped hurizen. Madara hyped hashirama. keep that in mind.

Plus hashi beats hurizen with feats for sure. Isnt that what im trying to go for, hashi is the strongest hokage.

Flower World - Show me Enma turning huge. Show him doing it in an instant; flower power jutsu is instantaneous (not really, but you understand from the hyperbole that it's really fast).

Wood Dragon - Show me him doing anything that supports your claim

Wood Clone - Hiruzen can't tell which is the real Hashirama. Chances are he ends up using RDS on a clone.
