If what you're saying is true, why the hell does Madara need the Juubi. If he can cast a genjutsu on the moon, there's no real reason for the Juubi.

It was only a limited form of genjutsu/tsukuyomi, it doesn't have planetary scale efficacy unless the Juubi is the power source.

Yeah I agree with you on this one completely but one thing is confusing me because Madara was not the man who will be in hiding longer period of time and Hashirama was the only one who was able to over power him.

Then why didn't Madara attack during the reign of the second and third hokages ?? Plus why did Madara was need to be always attached to Gedo Mazou when he was in hiding .....

He's probably still waiting to awaken the Rinnegan during that time, his main goal was the Eye of the Moon Plan, to awaken the Rinnegan and summon the Gedo Mazo from the Moon.

I knew there was a reason was a full moon when Madara use EMS and the way Hashirama looked up, that's how Madara manage to survive and retreat(still the way the fight ended between Hashirama and Madara was anticlimactic).
