Saying Bolt's eye will surpass MS in general isn't far fetched when he is the MC and his eye is clearly the main source of his power. That will further be solidified if Bolt starts fighting Byakugan aliens.But as of now, Bolt's eye is below MS, though it will surely surpass it.

Kishi never called either of those canon, a word you should first understand yourself before using :lol. Meanwhile, he's approved of the Bolt manga/anime, acts as editor of the Bolt manga, and the series has been declared a continuation of the Naruto series. You are so funny!! XD

Kishi has never called anything canon because the idea does not exist in Japan. What he did was approve them the same as the Boruto manga, video game powers and plotlines, and many Anime filler episodes and movies, giving them all equal claim to canoninity in America where canon is a prevalent idea.

So if you want to call the spin-off series written by a different author entirely canon, you better as **** consider the original idea penned by the true author canon as well.

I personally, do not consider a spin-off canon, but you can believe whatever fanfiction you need to make your treasured Hyuuga relevant for the first time in 15 years.

It is canon, it's not my own words, it's Kishimoto's words and he also edits the manga, so he's still in charge of what goes into the story.

And the new author writes both the manga and anime so his material is still canon to "Bolt" series, even if you want to ***** about them not being canon to the "Naruto" series.
