Yeah, that's how I understood it as well.

If it takes up a slot in the timeframe, can it be combined with another action? So timeframe would i.e;
Opponent: Fireball
Me : Snake/Fireball

If that makes sense to you?

Other than that, I got no questions.

No this is a technique in its own right. This isn't something you use in conjunction with another Ninjutsu, like a fireball. Now you can infuse INTO this technique. But you can't use something simultaneously as it in that sense. For example, if I use Phantom Dragons I can't use Great Fireball technique at the same time. But I can use Change into Heaven at the same time as Phantom Dragons.

Alright, final technique of Yin Release Gobi. This one is a big one and I'm sure you'll have questions. So let's break it down first. Tell me what you think you know about this technique.

(Inton: Namakemono no Ude ) Yin Release: Hands of Sloth
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Rank: S
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra Cost: 100 (110 w/ YY: Hands of Sloth) -50 per turn
Damage: 80 (each hand)
Description: This technique gets its name from one of the deadliest sins, sloth. The user begins by clapping their hands and focusing their Yin Release chakra behind them. The user creates several chakra arms (up to 8) behind them which are spiritual in nature. They do not appear to the naked senses, only Sage Mode users, Rinnegan and other Yin-Yang Release users can detect these hands. The best way to describe this technique is in relation to Madara’s Boader Jail technique. The arms are capable of physically interacting with the world and attacking or defending against physical constructs. However, the user can freely turn them completely intangible if they wish to bypass physical obstacles. The base usage of this technique allows the user to attack or defend covertly by freely manipulating the invisible arms. However, in their second form the user can add the “properties of sloth” to the hands which are dejection, idleness, and sleep. Dejection is a loss of will and focus translated in causing a victim to lose coherent perception of the world around them and weaken their ability to defend against genjutsu. Idleness is a loss of action which is translated to a hampered ability to cast techniques. Sleep is a loss of consciousness which is translated in a comatose state brought about by the sealing of one’s spirit if they are not sufficiently healed. The third and final form of this technique is brought about when the user introduces their Yang Release chakra which essentially makes the hands quasi-sentient and self-sufficient without the user’s mental input.
Note: all Yin Release users can use the base form of this technique. Yin Release masters or Yin-Yang users can use the second form. The final form of this technique can only be used by Yin-Yang users with a Yin affinity.
Note: The properties of sloth are spiritually degenerating properties. The more a victim interacts with the hands the worse they become. When touched by the hands once, the victim enters dejection and becomes unable to deduce A-rank and above genjutsu and unable to break S-rank genjutsu by any means. When touched twice the victim enters idleness and they become unable to perform techniques within a single time-frame. When touched thrice, the victim’s mind is sealed over the course of 2 turns and they enter a genjutsu that renders them a mindless puppet to the user. The properties of sloth can only affect victims if the hands are tangible. Switching between tangibility and intangibility requires a move.
Note: Genjutsu specialists and other Yin-Yang users can resist the properties of sloth through the use of counter genjutsu or Yin Release techniques like Yin-Yang Mode’s Yin State.
Note: This technique can be used once per battle. While in use, the user cannot use any non-elemental ninjutsu, Yang Release, or Yin-Yang Release techniques.

You will probably have to elaborate on the properties of the sloth. Otherwise it works similar to my CC's ability to switch between tangible and intangible. Elemental techniques are available when this technique is in use? For how long can they be sustained?

Are these arms/hands manipulated alike to the previous technique? Are they attached to me, or simply created behind me, floating in the air?

Okay. Let's backtrack. It's been a hot minute since we looked at things, and since then a lot of the techniques have been updated. Here are two of the biggest ones that were changed. Phantom Dragons and Hands of Sloth both had their damage adjusted. So take a look at both and then ask your questions, whether they're the same ones you had from a year ago, or any new ones you may have. Yin/Yang States have also changed, so we'll need to talk about them before we get into Yin-Yang Release as a whole.

Was your Yang training finished?

(Inton: Dai Mugen Ryu) - Yin Release: Great Phantom Dragons
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra Cost: 150
Damage: 100 | 120 (for multi-element)
Description: A more powerful version of “Yin Release Hungry Ghost Technique.” Rather than the user arbitrarily adding their Yin Release chakra to a specific technique, the user will create a number of large, elemental dragons using any of the basic elements plus their Yin Release chakra. The user can create up to 5 serpentine dragons which, once created, can act independently according to the user’s will. Due to the user being able to manipulate multiple elements at once, each dragon created can be of a different nature. Each dragon will also have the absorption properties of “Hungry Ghost,” thus becoming even more dangerous. However, due to the massive amount of chakra and control needed to use these dragons, the user can only control two dragons at any given time. While the dragons are present, the user cannot use any Yang Release or elemental techniques that currently exist within the dragons. Yin Release masters can combine two natures together in order to make a multi-elemental dragon or even a dragon consisting of an advanced element or CE that they know. However, in doing so they will only be able to create two dragons.
Note: Can only be used 2 times per battle.

My Yang training was finished. It was taught all Yang techniques that didn't depend on Yin.

Where are these serpentine creatures created? Anywhere within the field or?
How would you use this technique?
Does it cost a move to manipulate the dragons? It states that I can only use 2 at a given time - and I suppose that the 5 serpentine creatures would have the damage split equally between them, so the 120 damage is only if I split the damage amongst two(Only two is created), and combine them - How much would multi element damage if 5 serpentines are created?

How would you defend against this technique?

Can I change the tangibility per arm, or does it include all arms? Can I use simualtaneously with other techniques once active. I can keep them active aslong as I have a reserve of chakra?

They are created in short range distance. They do require a move to manipulate after the initial turn. Damage is indeed split between them.

HoS has been updated since the last time it was posted. It is quite easier to defend compared to before considering the additional means of sensing it. All the arms is the general rule for changing the properties. And yes it can be maintained for as long as you wish given you have the reserves, with you being able to use certain techniques as highlighted in the last note.

(Inton Modo) – Yin State
Type: Mode
Rank: S
Range: N/A
Chakra: 200 (-40 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: Based on Hagoromo’s Six Paths Sage Mode, those who have specialized in Yin Release can enter this mode to elevate their prowess, reaching the pinnacle of spiritual capabilities. Because the user lacks the Juubi’s monstrous chakra and natural energy it makes it impossible to properly balance both Yin and Yang natures simultaneously at such a high level. When entering this mode, users first gather their five basic chakra natures and their Yin nature. They then manipulate the ratio of their Yin to Yang chakra such that one nature almost completely overshadows the other, done almost instantly. The result causes the user to enter Yin State. Yin State is the state entered by users when they emphasize their Yin chakra over their Yang. In this state the user is endowed with a pitch-black chakra cloak with white magatama down the center, along the collar and sleeves. The cloak can be shaped cosmetically. The cloak reaches down to the user’s ankles and covers a jet-black jumpsuit is underneath. The user’s nails, lips, hair, and sclera also become jet black. When Yin State is entered the user gains the technique Kuninotokotachi. Kuninotokotachi is a Genjutsu technique that grants the user spiritual prowess on par with the Uchiha’s Mangekyou Sharingan. When casting Genjutsu the user’s techniques become strong enough to hypnotize and almost completely control their opponent’s actions like Kotoamatsukami. While in Yin State the user gains a potent spiritual defense, making them immune to any A-Rank and below Genjutsu, barring Doujutsu Illusions. The user also gains a complete S-Rank defense against other spiritual and mental based abilities. Those abilities that inflict physical damage will still inflict physical damage, but have their spiritual portion negated. The drawback to this state is that the disproportional amount of energy makes users incapable of using Yang Release techniques and other physically elevating techniques. Advanced forms of taijutsu movement (anything that requires chakra or is B-rank and above) also become unusable.
Note: This technique only lasts 6 turns and can be used once per battle.
Note: One must have completed Yin Release in order to use this technique.
Note: Use of Yin State requires the user to have completed Yin Release training and stated on their biography that this is their chosen state. Once one has completed Yin-Yang Release training they are able to use these states interchangeably, respecting restrictions.
Note: Once the technique ends the user’s spiritual or physical chakra is drained to the barest minimum for their survival, thus making them incapable of using Yin, Yang, or Yin-Yang Release techniques for 10 turns and incapable of using Genjutsu or spiritual abilities for 5 turns.
Note: Once this technique ends the user is unable to use techniques above A-Rank for 4 turns.
Note: Yin-Yang Release Creations cannot use Yin State.

Okay, so this one is cool enough.
I have bolded a section, which I'm not sure if I understand correctly.
Is this in regards to Genjutsu, or just techniques in general?´7
Do we have an example of this?

So essentially, there are som visible changes, which allows warns combatants of its activation. The user's genjutsu becomes more powerful - Is it stated anywhere, how? Does this mean my Genjutsu can overpower techniques which are immune to genjutsu, but not Dojutsu Genjutsus?

If this state provides an S-rank defense, how many times can that defense be accounted for, and how about F-ranked Genjutsus, or S-rank techniques that are boosted, or a double layered S-rank genjutsu?

Techniques in general, but can apply to some unique Genjutsu, ones that you probably knew as 'elemental genjutsu', though that isn't an actual term these days. But besides that, a bunch of newer customs have the dual damage of spiritual and physical, so it would apply to those.

For overpowering those with immunity, you would need the five elements illusion technique generally. This would empower them further when used with the attached technique below. It is a passive that comes into play once you enter the state, so we'll get into that in a bit.

As for defensive stats, it is a 'flat stat' of S rank. If it is boosted or higher, it would overcome it. In the case of double layered, it would depend on the total strength, so if it is double layered and of S rank strength, you will be fine. Beyond that, it would behave normally.

( Kuninotokotachi ) - Kuninotokotachi
Type: Supplementary
Rank: Forbidden
Range: N/A
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage: N/A
Description: This technique is the strongest non-kekkei genkai genjutsu in existence. Kuninotokotachi gives the user’s genjutsu powerful hypnotic and influential abilities and puts them on par with the ocular powers of the Mangekyou Sharingan. The user hides manipulative thoughts and suggestions within their genjutsu such that, when cast on an opponent, they are indistinguishable from their own thoughts. The effects of this technique are strongest the closer one is to the user, allowing the user to influence the actions of others even subliminally. Long enough exposure to the user’s genjutsu while under the affects of Kuninotokotachi will eventually render victims completely unconscious, unable to respond at all. At such a point, the only ways to release the hold of Kuninotokotachi would be for the user to release it themselves, for the user to die or an outside source to transfer at least 150 chakra from Yin techniques or 75 chakra from Yang techniques to balance. Because of the strength of Kuninotokotachi, abilities designed to prevent genjutsu such as mental resistances, barriers, and other seals of the like are ineffective. With this technique the only way to avoid genjutsu would be to prevent them from happening or stay out of range. On the defensive side, Kuninotokotachi allows for the user to reverse genjutsu like Sharingan Genjutsu and even release the affects of techniques like Tsukuyomi.
Note: The hypnosis of this technique allows for the user to mask holes within a genjutsu that would ordinarily cause speculation. For example, if using false surroundings for a sudden drastic environment change, the user could implant a suggestion that would force the opponent not to question how suddenly the environment changed or to ignore certain aspects such as “the water isn’t wet.” However, these suggestions must be spelled out within the user’s move and must pertain to the affects of the genjutsu. A user cannot force opponents to forget how to defend against x-element or make them use y-technique if the genjutsu’s foundation does not establish such foundations.
Note: The effects of this technique are strongest the closer one is to the target. Within short-range users can capture others within their hypnotic spell and completely take over their body within 2 turns. At mid-range the hypnotic spell takes 3 turns, and long range is ineffective. Those with genjutsu specialty can resist for an additional turn while other Yin Release masters can resist for another 2 additional turns are unaffected at mid-range and beyond.
Note: The user can reverse genjutsu with this technique once per turn (one turn cool down for S-rank and above). Should the user fall under the spell of Mangekyou tier genjutsu the user can release the affects at the cost of a move but become incapable of using genjutsu for two turns after the fact.
Note: This technique remains active for as long as the user is within the Yin State of Yin-Yang Mod

You mention previous technique is a flat out S-rank defense. Say, turn 1, it blocks a S-rank. Would it be able to deflect another S-rank in turn 2?

Okay, so this one is quite interesting. I notice that it doesn't have a chakra cost, nor damage cost. But the effects are still spelled out in the technique. Since it have no chakra cost, can I "activate the technique" and still channel other techniques?

Does it require sight, nor similar restrains? Say in turn 1, the opponent is within short-range, and moves into mid-range, does it follow the mid-range rules then, and vice versa? How long does this genjutsu stay active?

Yes it can indeed block out an S rank in the next turn.

Yeah it is passively activated alongside Yin state. You can indeed use other techniques. Btw Yang has had a similar technique added since you were last here, if you want we can go over that as well.

It is restrained by whatever illusion you are using it with, so it would follow those restrictions. And yes it changes with the range. It lasts as long as Yin state is active, so 6 turns.

Yinkes. That's impressive. Very stronk. Have you fought or used it before? Has anybody used in a battle as per yet - I kind of want to see how its been used.

Yes, pls, let's take look at latest Yang technique. ;_;

Yes on both. I'll find you examples later on, but it's not commonly used anyways since most specialized in Yang.

So, for the Yang, similar to the Yin one, the technique is activated alongside Yang state. It probably has also changed since you were last here.

(Yoton Modo) – Yang State
Type: Mode
Rank: S
Range: N/A
Chakra: 200 (-50 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: Based on Hagoromo’s Six Paths Sage Mode, those who have completed and specialized in Yang Release can enter this mode to elevate their prowess, but only in their spiritual or physical capabilities. The lack of the Juubi’s monstrous chakra and natural energy makes it impossible for proper balance of both Yin and Yang natures simultaneously at such a high level. When entering this mode, users first gather their five basic nature chakras and their Yin and Yang natures. They then manipulate the ratio of their Yin to Yang chakra such that one nature almost completely overshadows the other, done almost instantly and effortlessly. The result causes the user to enter one Yang State. Yang State is the state entered by users when they emphasize their Yang chakra over their Yin chakra. In this state the user is endowed with a white and black chakra shroud that the user can alter cosmetically. Their hair and sclera become white, and their hands glow a white energy with fingerless gloves and black magatama along their back. The user gains two main attributes in this state: Tian and Onibi. Tian refers to physical power beyond the scope of earthly mortals. While in Yang State the user’s ability to track and react to movement and actions becomes limitless. The user’s speed increases by 6x their base speed. Likewise, their physical durability reaches its apex, capable of reducing damage from all physical clashes by 80 damage. Note that this physical reduction goes beyond simply physical elements; it applies to anything within the ‘physical’ realm – meaning any physical interaction, be it from Fire Release, Earth, or Lightning are reduced while in Yang State. The opposite, the Spiritual, is not mitigated. Though important to note the user is still suspectable to techniques that apply physically debilitating debuffs, such as paralysis, fatigue, etc. The other trait the user gains, Onibi, activates when the user enters Yang State. The drawback to this technique is that, due to the massive imbalance of Yang chakra, Yin Release and other spiritual techniques are impossible to use whilst in this state.
Note: Use of Yang State requires the user to have completed Yang Release training and stated on their biography that this is their chosen state. Once one has completed Yin-Yang Release training they are able to use these states interchangeably, respecting restrictions.
Note: This technique only last 6 turns and can be used only once per battle.
Note: Once the technique ends the user’s spiritual or physical chakra is drained to the barest minimum for their survival, thus making them incapable of using Yin, Yang, or Yin-Yang Release techniques for 10 turns and incapable of using taijutsu for 5 turns (this includes releasing leg weights and physically augmenting techniques).
Note: Likewise, users are unable to use techniques above A-rank for 4 turns.
Note: Yin-Yang Release Creations cannot use Yang State.

(Onibi) – Onibi
Type: Supplementary
Rank: Forbidden
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: 40 (-10 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: Said to be ghosts of light in ancient lore, these are the spirits of the dead that can be roughly translated as Will-o’-Wisps. Within the field of Yang Release it is the pinnacle manifestation of the field’s core concept: governing vitality and life, the ultimate display of a Yang Master as the giver of life. Onibi is activated simultaneously as Yang Mode, initiated passively once the Mode has been entered. Much like how Kuninotokotachi augments all of the user’s Illusionary techniques, Onibi augments all of the user’s specialized physical techniques; for the duration of Yang State all of the aforementioned techniques are enhanced by passively infusing them with Change into Hell. Each creation is endowed with 300 chakra points, 100 health, sharing their creator’s base speed, and their own form of sentience. Like with Change into Hell, creations through this technique are able to use techniques from the source they are produced from. As life is ever changing and mutating in each permutation, Onibi also grants two random mutations to each creation. These are to be rolled on each time a sentient creation is formed with Onibi. When Yang State expires the user’s techniques that are augmented with Onibi’s sentience and mutations also expire. The random mutations are as follows:
Empowered Vitality: The user’s sentient entity’s vitality is empowered further, increasing its health pool by 80 additional points.
Clear Casting: The user’s sentient entity has its ability to perform techniques augmented, allowing it to perform its techniques without the need for hand seals.
Empowered Speed: The user’s sentient entity has its ability to move enhanced, increasing its speed by 8 base levels.
Thickened Hide: Improved durability reduces all physical damage taken by 40.
Empowered Reserves: The user’s reserves are empowered, increasing its base chakra reserves to 500.
Black Blood: Infuses a deadly vitality-based mutagen within the sentient creation. When the Creation dies or expires its blood will burst in a mid-range radius from its position, afflicting any within with Black Blood. Black Blood inflicts 10 damage per turn indefinitely on any, other than the user, until the end of the battle. Can only be cured by Yin-Yang Release or Senjutsu.
Debilitating Aura: The user’s sentient creation radiates physical energy, destabilizing any living target within a five-meter zone around it. Reduces movement speed by 8 base levels, inflicts 10 damage per turn, and drains 10% of the targets chakra per turn. Can be resisted with a Yin Release technique of equal rank or Senjutsu that persists through this mutation’s duration.
Acidic Spikes: The user’s sentient creation is empowered with the Acidic Spines mutation, causing it to periodically unleash a volley of vitality-based spikes at all enemy targets on the battlefield. Each spike inflicts 80 damage and contains 40 chakra. Its damage is inflicted at a rate of 40 per turn to living targets, but clashing with other techniques counts as 80 damage. Only a single spike can be released at a single target, with each additional target counting as an additional spike. This does not count toward one of the user’s three moves, and it has a 25% chance of occurring every other turn after the creation is formed.
Overwhelming Vitality: The user’s sentient creation is empowered with Overwhelming Vitality, causing it to explode upon death in a mid-range radius explosion of violent energy. Anything caught within it suffers 120 damage.
Prismatic Mutation: A mutation that takes on the combined effects of two random mutations, allowing for three total mutations on a creation. When this occurs, the user is to roll for the first mutation as normal, and then roll for one additional mutation and select one of the first four mutations. This allows for a total of three.

Okay, Yang State, nice.
Question; How suspectible are you to Genjutsu - I haven't brushed up on my Genjutsu knowledge in a while, but how "immune" would a character in Yang State be to Genjutsu. I could be tempted to say, that the intense imbalance would "push" away Illusionary techniques?

This would still leave the user open for spiritual attacks. Now, I don't know many of these off the top of my head, I would imagine Katsuryoku (My CC) have some spiritual attacks which remain in the spiritual world and still affect the target. But what about cannon techs?

Phantom dragons?

In regards to the physical reduction. I've some questions;
Say - Opponent uses S-rank technique 80 damage. I use S-ranked Taijutsu attack with 80 Damage. Would I simply barge through, and then deal the 80 damage?

Opponent uses F-rank tech with 90 damage. I use Taijutsu E-rank with 10 Damage - Would they cancel eachother out?

If opponent uses nothing. I Use S-rank Taijutsu tech, he would suffer 80 damage.

How does the debuffing and buffing rules work again, passives etc.? Is there anywhere I can find it, I don't seem to be able to find the thread myself. ;_;

Onibi is nice.
It mentions it affects the users specialized technique. So what are these specialized techniques? They both get two "mutagens" upon creation. How are these rolled, and are they rolled indivudually? How many creations, can I create within a technique - Say, my water technique, makes a stampede of horses, how many of these are embued by Yang?

Still susceptible to gen. Some canon techniques would be like Yamanaka attacks and Dan Kato for instance. Yin techniques would be the most common ones in general. As for your reduction question, you would need to consider that while still shaving damage, recoil/momentum are still factors in play. But let's say it's both S rank punches that collide fist to fist, you would indeed deal the 80 DMG while taking none. For the 90 DMG, they would indeed cancel eachother, but you also have to consider where and how the clash occurs.

In the Past, Damage Boosting Rules were made so that you could only use 1 Passive Boost and 1 Active boost at any time. You could also not boost any Jutsu if you forced a Debuff to the opponent. This has changed slightly now: You can have up to 2 Boosts applied at any time (Active and Passive, 2 Active or 2 Passive Boosts) and you can only have 1 Damage Boost of any kind added when you Debuff an opponent by any level.

Example:
• Leg Weights (Active Boost) and Sage Mode being activated (Active Boost)
• Cali Swordsmen Swords (passive) and Curse Mark (Active)

You can have One Specialty Speed Boost and One Jutsu Speed Boost applied at any time. Specialty Speed boosts refer to speed boosts granted from a Specialty (Primary, Apex or CFS related ones) and Jutsu Speed Boosts are any that come from a Jutsu, Mode, or Artifact. Its named due to the fact that all of these are in Jutsu form.
Specialized techniques would need to be specified in your bio, so an element for instance. There could be cases whwhereer you simply don't have specialised techniques due to choosing different specialties. It can be clan techniques as well, as long as it is under the category of physical techniques. The entire stampede of horses would be imbued. As for rolls, you would need to do in the official discord channel

t!choose Empowered Vitality | Cleear Casting | Empowered Speed | Thickened Hide | Black Blood | Debilitating Aura | Acidic Spikes | Overwhelming Vitality | Prismatic Mutation

You would do it twice to get your mutations. There should be a sticky in the channel itself to clarify it.
