That is not what they are saying at all.And if that was the case did you need to read Naruto to realize War is not the solution to humanities problems ?They united the shinobi villages and defeated kaguya.Their is no conflict to be had among ninja on a large enough scale to warrant Naruto and sassuke going in and taking care things and if they had to the thread would have to be immense.Do you really wanna sit through an arc where someone happens to be as strong as naruto or sasuke ? That sounds incredibly lazy and just a rehash of what came before.I much rather see new forms of conflict and abilties used in new ways.Their is a whole world out ther ninjas are just a slice of it.
Definition of a non sequitor response. Nothing here really addresses what I said. Nobody cares about the evolution aspect to it. Dragonball Z even today still is Dragonball Z in essence and the whole point of the series isn't about technology despite its existence since the very start of the series. Bulma was already using radars when he met Goku. Androids came into the series quite early, yet they aren't the center of the entire series, or technology while that's what Boruto is in a nutshell ATM. A lecture on the essence of technology. If you say otherwise, then we can't have this argument, as our realities don't converge.
Really dude? There's an entire library of history books if you want a story like that. You could just go to a library and you'll find even more interesting stories that correlate to humanity and technology and the conflicts that arose from that.
All we wanted from Naruto was ninja fighting, ninja conflicts (without technology being rammed down our throats... They could've went a century back and gave us more back stories or started all the way from there or made technology progress even slower. It's their story, and we wouldn't complain since that's what drew us into the series in the first place), etc.
We don't need another (large scale even) lecture on technology. There are already an abundance of series with this theme in them. Star Wars being one of them.
Naruto didn't need to change into this. The fact Kishimoto isn't even in charge anymore shows he sold us out.
Not even going to lie, one of the main reasons I hate the technology is because it closes the gap in skill between the Ninjas that worked their heart out and some fu*king no-name scrubs. I admit it, I FEEL THREATENED by that!
I would absolutely not mind if they used technology to complement the hand to hand battles, but at this point, it's completely replacing the arsenal. They should have definitely had it at a slower pace and the items should have been advanced ninja tools like Sasuke's sleeves that can summon weapons. That is very likeable, it's still an impressive tool but it's not overpowered and doesn't mess up the combat dynamic.

You inferred that the series is trying to hammer home that the use of technology is being spoon fed viewers " Like we need to be lectured on the essence of technology when we basically use it to watch Naruto." You used this conjecture to dismiss the technology aspect of the story so i pointed out how the War arc could very easily stand in as an analogy for the Nuclear hellfire that was dropped on Japan in WW2 and how humanity should come to together and find real solutions to our problems not just war....Did we really need kishi to tell us that to understand war doesn't solve our problems ? Of course not so as you can see your post is shallow.
and makes it very clear you simply don't like the way the series is headed
Nobody cares about the evolution aspect to it.
Nobody ? Or do you mean a few people on Naruto base who are circle jerking each other ? that hardly constitutes as everyone
Dragonball Z even today still is Dragonball Z Dragonball z lives in the most futuristic world out ofall known popular shonen besides this comparison is wrong for many reason 1.Its not boruto its dragonball 2.The reason most people in this thread are *****ing is because the supposed "rapid advancement and the central focus of technoolgy as oppsed to ninjustu liek the previous series again this isn't that series and dragonball never switched focus from goku to anyone else so the series is still the same because it didn't try to set itself apart from its previous arcs.Again Boruto should not be a rehash of anruto and obvioulsy the people in charge agree so get over it
in essence and the whole point of the series isn't about technology despite its existence Agreed its about the new confrontations that ninja must face and this one happens tp be technology
Concession accepted. The fact you even bothered to write all that while agreeing with my final point is just hilarious.
You agree with the fact Boruto is technology-centric, making it uninteresting since we're facing technology as a problem ourselves lmao. Do you think you need more lectures on technology than you already have? You seriously think you want to watch a series that basically dilates why you should give in to technology by show of events the MC is plunged into? Because that's where this series is headed. Boruto and friends eventually embracing technology with everyone else while keeping their ninja roots. "I may use technology but am still ninja because I wear a headband." That's some story, isn't it?
Facts.
It is 2018 and somehow people still need a reminder once in awhile.
Its mentally draining when you encounter the people who say "oh you just get worked up over words" and im like its not that i get worked up i just this thing called respect and its very easy to give.Instead of complaining about how people react to what you say just ...idk mabe not say it ?
Maybe that is too complicated for 2018 lets try again in 2019

Still salty about lying in one of of your post and being called out on it ? Why else would you dislike the post when it gave a very reasoable reason as to why the new series should n't be a rehash of the naruto series ?
What? Remove technology and it's still piss poor writing. In fact, it's much worse with technology being put into the epicentre
You can take any Anime fan that never watched Naruto or Boruto and make him watch at least 3 episodes of each and ask them which they would prefer, 90% of them would say Naruto.
And even if you take the old audience they'd still prefer Naruto, because at least the theme isn't about what they're currently facing IRL, something they're trying to escape from by watching Anime

That could've been fixed by creating a new problem without the contrived inclusion of technology.
Alien invasion is already a standalone problem and they manufactured that as well just as they did the emergence of technology. It's not that hard really.
Dragonball managed fairly well with creating these problems, without the abuse of technology.

Your feelings towarsd the is part of the plot
How will ninja stay relevant with stuff like this ? You saw borito briefly turn his back on ninja ...its the conflict
How do yhou think samurai felt when they got cut down by rifles ? Same way
I rather see a story with some substance then antoerh ninja battle that would ahve to escalate to dbz levels
Yeah, i don't like it either. It's like the OG leaf is living in the back of a city like a slum.
I wish they kept the tech levels around where they were in shippuden which wasn't that bad at all. We don't need a war against machines and stuff like that. It's too much.

Tech being introduced isn't a bad thing per se, the problem lies within the method of introduction, the type of tech being introduced and it's non proliferation.
Take the kote it's a turn device which took from it being able to replace ninja or make it easier for ninja. Instead they could be sealed a limited amount of jutsu in it, ehich when activated would forcibly covert a person's chakra to produce the jutsu etc, ninja woild become lazy. Even non ninja could use it in theory, why would people hire ninja when you could have such cool gadgets etc doing the work of ninja etc.theres a lot more that could be said on this.
I feel it's more so to make up for the sub par writing and slow pace of the manga.
