I've read a few posts on here and someone said that a lot of individuals overestimate Jiraiya.......well there are those that overestimate Itachi the same. Jiraiya's Hermit mode renders Itachi genjutsu & tsukyomi useless because of ma & pa frog constantly gathering sage chakra (this is an assumption, but it seems logical). Comparing their speed, I don't know, but Itachi will be forced to use either Amaterasu or Susanoo(not sure if I'm spelling it correctly). Jiraiya can counter Amaterasu if need be using that toad stomache(?) jutsu to block the attack. Itachi can't use Amaterasu carelessly because it doesn't work like that. Finally, I don't know how Jiraiya would counter Susanoo, but I'm guessing that move doesn't last long and does Itachi have enough willpower to block Jiraiya's genjutsu while having Susanoo in effect? Does Susanoo block against genjutsu also? I said all of that to say this, if Jiraiya will give Itachi that much trouble, could he really handle ALL of the Sannin before his Chakra runs out????

and how the hell can toad stomach can bloack the Black Flames????
when Jiraiya trapped Kisame and Itachi ,Itachi used it to escape from the stomach and Jiraiya get shocked because Itachi is the first one who escape from it by using Amaterasu
again only Susanoo is enough to get rid of the 3 sannin

Susanoo is tough to talk about. It has the shield that block literally anything, and the sword that seals away whatever it hits. From that basic description it seems to be invincible, and thus would make Itachi invincible. It could very well have absolutely no limits as far as we know. Its one purpose so far has been to seal away Orochimaru, and with Itachi dead, we may never see it again. For that reason Kishi may have made it with no limits/vulnerabilities. It was really made out to be the ultimate attack/defense.

if thats true then why did ma and pa's genjutsu work on three bodies at once??? and nagato didnt break them out of it??? sorry but i think itachi beats pain if only because he has yata's mirror which protects him from all attacks, and all he has to do is use the sword of totsuka to seal every single pain body, zetsu said it himself, yata's mirror combined with totsuka makes itachi invincible

To seal with a sword, you first need to land a hit. IT's kind of bareley possible if someone uses Shinra Tensei al the time. PLus, we never know how will Peins Gravity Manipulations affect Susanoo.

And you dont forget about Pein's Ghost Realms and the one who opens hells gates. I think they are able to Seal Susano'o.
Dont forget Pein has both the physical and ethereal abiities, he's the ultimate jutsu machine, thanks to his Rinnegan.

True, Susanoo is probably the only thing in Itachi's arsenal that can defeat the Sannin.....the statement I was posing was that maybe Susanoo's weakness is that it doesn't last long. If this were to be true, then all the Sannin would have to do is avoid....easier said then done, but I believe they could do it nonetheless.

But remember how did Orochimaru fight vs 4th Tail. He wont get sealed so fast as he was @ itachi vs Sasuke fite.

Yes,maybe Sage mode can resist Genjutsu but remember Tsukuyomi is not a normal Genjutsu
and I believe Saskue didn't really broke the Tsukuyomi Genjutsu with his normal Sharingan because it's required Mangekyo Sharingan user to resist it and Itachi's fight was only an act.
and about the stomach,do you think when Jiraiya get hiden Itachi will cost it randomly??? Amaterasu it carries high risk to eyesight and besides it cost enormous chakra,so do you think Itachi will miss??? btw Itachi is one of smartest Ninjas in the story,smarter more than the 3 sinnan.
I changed my mind,I don't think Itachi will need to use Mangekyo Sharingan powers,only normal jutsus is enough because of his hand seals speed even kakashi with his Sharingan didn't catch up with them

totsuka is not a physical attack, it is a sword from the spiritual realm and shinra tensei only deflects ninjutsu and physical attacks, not something from the spirit world, and how the heck did pain get brought up in this convo in the first place???

guys u've forgotten 1 thing saying itachi's genjutsu is useless against some1 like jman or pain.his genjutsu actually pwned kakashi un a second,also when naruto got traped in it he spent pretty much time before sakura and chiyo got him out from there.it takes some secs to get to the traped target and force ur chakra in it.itachi controll time in tsukuiomi(spelling).
may be constant force of natural chakra from pa and ma will help jman,i dunno

It doesnt matter that sage of 6th path has created moon, itachi has amaterasuor susanoo that cant be countered and sage is stupid and wont be able to find a counter so yeah
