[Debate] The Modern Day Racism Debate

Before anyone goes up and arms against me or mods taking action against me for just the thread title (assuming they would) i'm not insighting hate here, nor am i trying to start a riot. I'm generally curious on the ideology view point of everyone on the forum... think of this as a way to understand everyone better in a debate format.

Firstly, as everyone should know by now the modern day racism is far different than that of how it was years ago. Everyone thinks its popular to be the victim now-a-days, flooding the internet with questionable view points and just going out of their way to say ''Hello world, im the victim here.'' The ideologies of the left and right, SJWs, Feminists, etc is now a rapid growing concepts that are very quickly becoming some sort of a big deal in this modern era. People who think black people cant be racist, people who think white supremacy is still a thing, the ideology that there are more than 2 genders, etc, I'm personally won't be putting myself in this debate unless someone asks me to, this is to just keep the peace for this discussion as i think personally i'd get to heated so till then i'm gonna read everyones discussions.

As such, i'm generally curious to what everyone's view points are and what view point you think is the right path?

btw these aren't my beliefs, just a general idea of other beliefs that i referenced for a topic starter.

I couldn't care less . Where I live literally everyone is white, Slav and Orthodox. We don't have that problems.

Some people can be really vicious about being in a safe space where everyone is progressive to the max, but there are also lots of people who hate on metoo and whatever else is on and doesn't care at all about being a sjw, and they are not like as extreme as the people in the movie imperium, they are not even very radical at all, they just have some opinions that may seem a bit controversial. I personally try to avoid things that seem racist and what not, but I'm also scared of being called a sjw or as someone trying to "shut down debates".
I can get pissed off about people who are just *******s and I wonder if they are secretly faschists or something, but it's all in my head. Sometimes I feel like the typical liberal really is a new form of racist, cus they can be so nice to people when it fits their agenda but turn on people so quickly if they seem dangerous or stupid. But I don't have any proof of that and so I don't really think that way, I just wonder. There are obviously trolls out there like Trump who are big bigots but also crazy. I'm just not so sure you are a good person just cus you don't agree with him.

I have the exact opposite situation, there has been huge migration where and when I grew up, I have family members that I'm not super close with but has origin from other countries, my boss is japanese and my co-workers have migration backgrounds and I spend lots of time online interacting globally etc.
Friends have migration backgrounds and not just from neighbouring countries but furher away.
I wonder if nationalists and anti migrationists are experiencing something I never have. Like if they live in some pure lord of the rings world that I don't know anything about.'

How is modern day racism different from the past? What was the point they were trying to do when they killed, raped, ran out? What was the purpose for the racism? Try to answer that. Now ask, what is the point of today's racism? So is it really any different?

My thoughts on racism debate. It looks like there is a struggle of people who are finally being called out on it. White privilege isn't fake. It might not be as extreme as some think. Just ask yourself if a minority can walk in a room and have people assume if the went to college if they are dressed in regular clothes.

Studies have shown, you can probably try it yourself, apply for a job with two different names with the same credentials. The exotic name, or black name, has a lower chance to get called for an interview.

Remember the New York Times fiasco that happened last week? There is a push for a white america. There are a group of people who wish germany won the war. Wow, a group of patriotic americans want the enemy to win?

Also, 60% of white people surveyed who don't identify as alt-right, or extreme nationalist ideologies, still agree with their overall message. They just don't want to be open about it because they say they are not racists. they agree with the them, they just don't want to forcibly kick non-whites out.

And, guys, It's not SJWs vs you. i am tired of hearing this tired strawman. It's SJWs, religious groups, atheists, feminists, normies, trolls, republicans, democrats, liberals, alt-right vs each other. YOu just pick which group you are in. Don't you think that an Alt-right will let you in if you agree with them, but then, once you go against a couple of their tenets, you get kicked out.

moderates are the way to go. However, moderates today will not be the sames as moderates in twenty years. SOciety does change. Boundries changes. New problems arise.

Honestly i feel racism is not as bad as it was when our grandparents grew up and rebeled against the norm of their day there are those who wont let it die because it conflicts against their agenda of whites oppressing blacks but it is quite equal on all sides

Today you can go on a bus and not have to get up and move to the back if your black or hispanic if your perpetuation that all blacks are victims of white racism and that blacks are free from such critique then you your self are a racist there is no such thing as institutional racism that died back in the 70s if you were forced into the back or had to go to a certain bathroom or kicked out of a store because you were not white then you would be right on institutional racism

How is institutional racism debunked when court sentencing proves that it's still very much alive.
Black men get longer, more severe sentencing than white males.
White males get longer, more severe sentencing than white females.
Black men are more likely to be wrongly convicted of crimes.

Dude, every week i see racist shit. I've been spit on on the bus. My mother keeps being asked where she is from when she goes to work. Patients keep yelling i don't want Nig**** or wetbacks in my room. Every freaking week!

The fact that anyone of color, no matter how many generations that have lived here will be defined by their color. Asians will always be asian american. Black people, for some weird reason are still called african american (non immigrant ones). blah blah blah.

I could go on and on but i'm going to refrain from saying anything political cause then i wouldn't be any different. And besides, there's no use in trying. This is one of the main problems nowadays, everyone wants to win, everyone thinks they know it all, and the majority don't know shit, and nobody is willing to give anyone the benefit of the doubt and try to understand eachother and find some form of compromise etc. because it's easier and it feels better to do harm than good.

I'll just say this... I think the current situation is lamentable. All this hate and fighting is beyond pointless and eventually they will all come to regret it.

so you based your entire ideology with the narrow viewpoint of yours? how is that logical? i know people don't like reading liberal university studies, (you can read their methodology to see any bias ), but it supports the perception that minorities don't get interviews.

THis even works when racism is done within minorities. There are temp agencies, this example was hispanic managed, that tried their hardest to only hire hispanics.
